Worth Getting Out of Bed For
Sunrise yoga, scavenger hunts and fireside stargazing soundtracked by live music keep all ages content at Under Canvas Lake Powell – Grand Staircase, but beyond this basecamp, nature puts on an equally stellar show. Guest experience coordinators can help to arrange guided hikes and picturesque trails include those to Toadstool Hoodoo or Glen Canyon Dam; the onsite Elephant Slot Canyon is a prime canyoneering spot. Other jaw-dropping destinations to explore on foot include the Wave at Grand Staircase – Escalante National Monument, Antelope Canyon and Rainbow Bridge, or if legs are feeling weary, traverse the vast terrain on a UTV tour. For water-based antics, take a boat tour on Lake Powell, swim at Lone Rock Beach or enjoy a float trip around Horseshoe Bend on the Colorado River.
