Acron Villas is a rustic, all-villa escape perched in the rugged hills above Paros’ famous Kolympithres Beach and the village of Naoussa. The two-to-five-bedroom villas offer plenty of privacy for families and honeymooners alike – each comes with sweeping sea views, a private pool terrace, unfussy interiors and kitted-out kitchens. In other words, they’re the perfect blank canvas for unstructured days of sun-soaked serenity. Down in the bay, strollable fishing villages, traditional tavernas and golden beaches lie in wait.

Big families or groups will have plenty of space to spread out in the Indigo 4 Bedroom Premium Villa. It’s got sprawling sea views from the master bedroom and a large table on the terrace for alfresco dinners to remember.

You only need to take a few steps from bed to splash about in your villa’s own private pool.
Packing Tips
Sleek monochrome swimwear in neutral hues of white, black, navy and green will go perfectly with the khaki-coloured surrounding countryside.
Children
All ages are welcome. Babysitting is available for €8 an hour – you’ll need to give three days’ notice and there’s a three-hour minimum. Cribs, cots and highchairs are available on request.

You can’t go amiss with breezy kaftans, oversize linens and your best leather sandals. But this is paradise at its most private, so there’s no-one to judge.

There’s no restaurant or bar on-site, but each villa has a fully equipped kitchen for cosy meals in. Or, head out to Paros’ seafood-serving tavernas and buzzy beach bars.

You won't find a bar on-site, so stock up on local vintages in town for sundowners on your private terrace.
Planes
The airport in Paros, which you can reach via Athens, is a 30-minute drive away – the hotel can organise transfers for €60 one-way (up to six people).
Worth Getting Out of Bed For
The fishing village of Naoussa is along the bay, five kilometres away (it takes about 10 minutes to reach it by car) – wander the labyrinthine lanes and you’ll be rewarded with fashionable boutiques, artisanal delis and trad tavernas on the waterfront.
Further around the bay, you’ll find Monastiri, another popular beach with a great sand-side restaurant. Here you’ll also find 800-acre Paros Park, with its walking trails and open-air cinema set in a stone, sea-facing amphitheatre. On the east coast, Chrissi Akti or ‘Golden Beach’ is a renowned windsurfing spot. Further afield, two of the most photogenic, strollable inland villages are Marpissa and nearby Prodromos, which you can link up via the Byzantine Road walking route.
