Adequate, clean, but not Hyatt Regency standards
Rooms are cleans, pillows are not comfortable, clocks are all wrong, new parking charge for an empty lot, slow wi-fi, terrible heat/ AC unit ( never cools well in summer nor heats well in cold weather). Just for the record, I have stayed at this hotel, at least two or three times a year for over 20 years, and if it was not so close to family, I would definitely find an alternative.

Great property and location
Definitely one of the best places to stay in this vicinity. Hard to beat the location, although the highway noise may be audible from some rooms. Well-appointed, modern rooms with plenty of electric outlets and connectivity. Full-service restaurant and bar. Fitness center has great equipment. EV chargers in parking area. Not so good: wifi is rather slow.

Finally, renovated!
Are used to stay here on business, but stop because the rooms have become very worn and old. Everything’s been renovated and it’s great to be back! This is a fantastic location and overall one of the best Hyatts.

Hyatt Westlake
I stayed frequently at this venue 10-15 years ago and really liked the property. I stayed for a week this time for my personal enjoyment, and found that the property was even better maintained and the staff even more helpful. If staying in the Thousand Oaks area this is definitely my go to place to stay!

Very nice hotel, good services
Beautiful hotel, great service, food was available but menu a bit pricey. The check in process was easy, staff were friendly and super quick in responding to requests. The housekeeping was excellent and super clear. Rooms were a bit cold, and I did not have much luck adjusting the thermostat.

Hotel is old.
Hotel room could be updated. Bathroom is showing years of wear. Will choose a different hotel when I come back to West Lake Village. Lobby Starbucks is the worst one you can find. The property could be updated.

Our hotel has recently been renovated within the 2020 and is still ongoing with our management team continuously renovating our property. Regarding the Starbucks coffee that we sell within the lobby, our property sells Starbucks branded coffee, but does not operate as a fully functional Starbucks. I will be sure to pass on the feedback within our management team to ensure we continue to do our best for all of our guests. Rooms were very clean and big, Room service was exceptional, food quality was excellent, all the staff very friendly and helpful If you needed something they were right on it for you. Will stay there again given the opportunity.

Hot water was limited when showering, bed was lumpy and needed to be turned cause you literally sank in like a canoe. You can hear the people above you, so not the best insulation. And you can’t control the thermostat except turn it a few degrees. For the price and location, I expected a better quality stay.

Rude Employee
Had one rude employee that kind of put a damper for the rest of my stay. I requested for a late check out and asked if breakfast was complimentary (being a guest of honor) only to be told two times that I was a discoverist. Until a supervisor had to correct the employee. The roof coming off of the elevator overlooking the fountain had mold, a room service cart stay in the hallway next to my room for more then 12hours, our toilet paper holder was broken, and my legs were bitten up leaving this hotel. First time at this location, and last time. I ended up leaving early as well
