Excellent Stay - Near to happening & rocking Pier 39
Well maintained facility, California Cable Car is just in front of hotel, Ferry Building is just a hop away. Very good location to explore attractions. Food wise do not expect much - very limited options. But, outside there are lot of options. Overall a comfortable stay with good bay view.

Clean, safe, comfortable
Nothing fancy but everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. It looks recently updated. The restaurant staff weren’t bothered about waiting on us. We left after 15 minutes of no service when 3 people were behind the bar talking. The buffet is too expensive so we didn’t try it. It’s located at Union Square.

I always stay at the Hyatt Rebency
I always enjoy the Hyatt Regency on the Embarcadero in San Francisco. The Staff is wonderful and welcoming, and the rooms exceed my expectations. Centrally located with easy access to transportation to make exploring this city possible.

Excellent location and beautiful hotel
This is a gorgeous hotel in an excellent location. The lobby is breathtaking. The bar is well stocked and the staff is amazing. The rooms are spacious and well done. Excellent visit for my Hubby's first visit to San Francisco.

Was a great stay can’t say enough about how great this place is every time we come we have a great experience. This is my go to hotel whenever visiting San Francisco. If you’re on the fence about visiting, I highly recommend this is the spot to stay at

Great Experience!!
Awesome Experience!! Super Clean Rooms, Staff went above and beyond to help. Excellent Staff from Velvet parking to check in! clean restrooms, bar is awesome too! Friendly staff, great service and overall experience was hands down was Great!!

Modernist Icon
A modernist icon, this building has been taken care of and updated tastefully. In a sea of boutique hotels, the Regency stays relevant with nice finishes and impeccable service. As an architectsm we appreciate Hyatt's attention to detail in their Thompson line, but often the older properties fall short (such as Austin's Regency). Here in SF, however, they did it right!

Great location, outrageously expensive parking
The hotel is perfectly located for business or pleasure. the rooms are large, updated, and comfortable. The atrium bar serves good food & drinks and is a pleasant place to relax. but I found the street noise loud (I was on the 5th floor) and the cost of parking, at $80-a-night, is outrageously expensive. I will stay elsewhere next time just to avoid the parking cost.

Enjoyed our stay
Great place to stay in the Embarcadero. The staff was attentive, the room was clean, in good condition, and had a nice view. My girlfriend and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary - will be coming back. Thank you!

Great Location
Perfect location and convenient way to enjoy the city for the night or a weekend. Good pricing and friendly staff to assist. The room views are amazing. Valet parking is available with in and out privledges.
