Hotel very well appointed, clean and well maintained. Good parking on site. Convenient to local area and amenities. Staff very friendly. Good restaurant. Housekeeping excellent. Would definitely recommend and will return

Excellent staff. Our room 1625 felt like a prison- windows were high and small- no natural lighting & poor lighting in-room. Only 1 mirror (in bathroom) no freestanding or above sm desk mirror. no fan in bathroom & door didn't shut without an extra pull/slam. the only outlet in bathroom was half covered by mirror so only one thin plugged in at a time.

Very disappointed staying here. Switched to 3 different rooms in 9 days because of dust & shower/toliet not working. I haven't had allergies in years & I couldn't stop sneezing & I had watery eyes in our hotel room.

We booked this hotel for a conference, the staff was EXCELLENT and the view from our room was beautiful! The only thing I can say that I didn't like was that you could hear everything, people in the halls, and people in the next rooms, which is not something to really complain about. It was a great stay.

Spent 3 days in a conference, decided to spend a night as it was easier to stay than go home each night. It was a great choice. Food was excellent, and the bar tenders know how to make an actual Old Fashion. Room was very clean, even the glass shower door was spotless inside and out! Bed was comfortable, pool and outdoor fire pits/place made a very nice ambiance.

Clean , food was good service prompt and friendly . The buffet was good but quite expensive. The restaurants had good food but minimal selection . Overall was a good experience. I would definitely stay again

I'm a business traveler and really am satisfied with a clean and quiet room and a hotel restaurant and bar where I can grab food at off times after I arrive. Extra bonus points for a stocked fitness center. Hyatt at Aventine felt like a luxury spa. I was warmly greeted by the valet despite wanting self park, my room was comfortable and well kept, the bathroom amenities were of excellent quality, and there was a hotel restaurant and bar so I could work during lunch and late at night with a cocktail. But the best part of this hotel is the pool with TWO swim lanes and a gym that would be the envy of any 24 hour fitness. I'm a Marriott girl, but will be staying at the Hyatt when I travel to San Diego.

Hotel property restaurants like Trulucks have all closed. Property is ok but not amazing. Bathroom in poor shape and walls are very thin to where you hear people above you walking around. I would look for better options to get a good nights sleep unless the location is your reason for staying. after 4 pm check in and room was still not ready nor did the front desk bother to follow up or text as promised.

Madyson Caitlyn was SUCH a sweet heart, her genuine kindness and politeness is beyond appreciated it. I wish she could know just how much of a wonderful human being I think she is, because of HER I will def recommend this hotel and be coming back. I thank her a million for everything she did for me. She made me feel truly valued, and welcomed and I am just extremely thankful for her service.

Everyone was great especially Stephanie Taylor Warfield!! Room was clean, Towels soft, and staff friendly. La Jolla is a favorite place of mine and this made it more special and comfortable for my business meetings!! Thank you!
