Great Hotel
The Hyatt Regency is super convenient to the metro. Sitting outside the exit made it great for me traveling alone. It was very clean and gave me all the little things I may have forgotten! The price was reasonable.

Great getaway.
I stayed at the Hyatt because I was attending a wedding at a nearby venue. Everything was within walking distance. I felt safe walking to and from the venue to the Hyatt. Staff at the Hyatt welcomed me each time I entered the hotel. The hotel was clean and there was a Starbucks onsite.

Convenient location with good restaurants around the hotel. Very easy to access many locations throughout the DC area either by car or by subway. Definitely recommend tatte for breakfast, just make sure to go early or expect long lines.

Clean and excellent
This hotel is very convenient to the Metro and a good choice if one wants to take Metro into downtown.The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. There are many restaurants in the general neighborhood as well. However, if one wants a restaurant IN the hotel, there are just Mortons (which is extremely expensive), Starbucks, and Brown Bag. The hotel needs a good moderate priced restaurant.

Good value for a four star property
We arrived late on a Saturday night and found that the porte cochere was completely congested with parents sitting in their cars waiting for their kids to come out of a Bat Mitzvah. My disabled father and I who were coming off a six hour drive were unable to get close to the front entrance. The valet attendants were doing nothing to clear the congestion so I went to the front desk and spoke to the manager. She eventually came out and began to ask cars to park elsewhere. It's a breakdown that this area was not kept open for guests of the hotel, not to mention that it's a safety concern in case an emergency vehicle needs to get through. The "know before you go" letter I received indicated that the parking garage elevators were off-line and that it was better to use valet parking, which is significantly more expensive. In truth, the elevators from the lobby level to the self-parking level were completely operative. I felt that this was a blatant bait and switch to push guests into using a service they don't need. The self-park (in and out privileges includes) is $24/day and very easy to use, though the parking lot is a complete maze. Twice I requested ammenities to be delivered and twice I had to ask again. When I reserved the room I asked for adjoining rooms. To me this means two rooms next to one another with a connecting door. We were given two rooms next to each other but no connecting door. I also asked to be situated near an elevator. We were put as far from the elevator as possible. Room product is up-to-date, showing no signs of wear. It's generic but not offensive. Housekeeping was excellent. Check-in/check-out was smooth and quick. Not having an outlet that serves breakfast is annoying, but the Starbucks was adequate. There are some good, inexpensive restaurants nearby for dinner. I liked having an empty frig for my own beverages. TV and channels were adeqate. Phones are very difficult to use, especially for an elderly person.

Outdated and Dirty
The site is very outdated. It smells. Has a very stale feel to it. Wouldn't recommend it. Great location, because it's Bethesda, but for the Hyatt, this location went super cheap on everything. From the single ply sheets to the dirty stained tub, I do not recommend it here.

Good place for short stay.
Hotel was a good place for a short stay. A/C does not cool room the way it should. Luckily outside temp was fall weather. Brown bag store in lobby not open on weekends. Which means you have to find good else where which is time consuming depending on your schedule. Overall rooms are large and clean. Based on A/C and food situation not sure if I would stay there again.

Very happy I wasn't paying full price
Housekeeping not comprehensive.--scum along bathtub, and others hair strands on the bathroom floor. tv system, not easy to manage. The acoustics are okay. Due to design sound echos in the rooms, not really the children's fault you could hear them celebrating

Pleasant stay
Overall pleasant stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was reasonably comfortable allowing for a good nights sleep. Hotel is central to shopping and numerous restaurants and has direct access to the DC Metro’s red line!

Poor room service
I stay in this hotel from at October 31 to November 4, 2023. I requested a microwave to my room everyday but never arrived. The room wasn’t clean my first day of stay. I didn’t recomend to any collegues.
