Bar staff, waitstaff and even the engineer handling the mitigation due to water damage, were all incredible.  It was a bit noisy, but they managed to keep us comfortable, despite the momentous amount of work they were undertaking


Awesome staff

The hotel is old, and not refurbished well. Bedding smells, didn’t prepare shampoo in my room (for a 4-star hotel), lights turn off randomly, no housekeeping for my 4-day stay, staffs were not helpful at all - sign me up for their royalty program and could register points for my stay. Will not this hotel at all, and will not use Hyatt for any trip!!!

Horrible hotel, will not recommend to anyone.

Bed was uncomfortable. Shower was  too hot. Room was very  small for $500 a night. Good location.
Only good thing was the valet service. The app for the service was great. I had to search for a maid because there was no extra toilet paper or tissue in my room.  

Uncomfortable hotel

With so many other places to stay in the area I think this one is off the list of places to stay for me. The lobby is cute. My room was clean but it was the lack of detail for me. The bed squeaked with every movement. The outlets were extra difficult when plugging something in. The shower grab bar bracket covers were not attached (looked janky). There was some sort of exhaust fan in the “hall” of the room but in the bathroom. Chromecast took me 30+mins to finally connect.  The ac unit creaked all night long. The keurig coffee maker was in a short cabinet making it super difficult to utilize. The rooftop bar was small but nice with something for everyone on their eats and drinks menu.

The hotel was beautiful, I love the theme with the records and music etc. The downstairs bar was awesome, I didn't make it up to the rooftop bar but that was my fault. The customer service was amazing, they went above and beyond to make me happy.

This hotel is amazing

I booked a Dome View room, however, most people would assume that from the bedroom you see the dome, but it is covered by a building.  You only see the dome when you enter the room in the hallway. It's like getting an ocean front view room by the beach and you cannot see the beach in your bedroom.  The hotel did nothing about it and wanted to offer me 1,000 points.  What a joke.  The entire staff was rude, disrespectful and could care less that I didn't get what I paid for.  It's false advertising.

Stay somewhere else.

Right in the heart of downtown Sac. Easy to walk to coffee, dinner, and the capital. The rooms were very spacious, modern, and the bed was comfortable. Although I did not get a chance to visit, the restaurant and bar looked very inviting and stylish. 

Great Location & Comfortable

Great overall experience  the decoure  was amazing  and I was even greeted with two tickets  of thet Hyatt  centric special drink called a plantation punch overall experience  was really good definitely  worth the price to stay there

A very nice hotel for convenience and access to downtown Sac. Comfort and amenities we're above average. Had a few challenges with room temperatures. Room Services were perfectly acceptable. The Centric is a good overall value for the business traveler.

Good value for business downtown

This hotel is located in the center of Sacramento where cars, people driving, walking by even in the middle of the night. Definitely not the most quiet, safe property to stay at. You will still hear lots of noise even in the higher floor. 

Don't stay at this place if you want a quiet night

My wife and I were in town to see a concert. The Valet attendants, front desk staff, hotel operator and downstairs restaurant staff were all very informative, welcoming and professional! We felt very taken care of. The property has a great ambiance, early 20th century feel to it. The hotel was clean in every area we experienced! The pork belly hash is out of this world good! My wife and I will be back the next time we are in town!

A very satisfying experience

Our trip was the first weekend of my husband’s spring break. What a great way to start. The hotel is beautiful. The staff and valet service were professional and friendly. We had bar bites in the Standard. Everything was delicious. Our bartender was funny and made great drinks. We ordered room service. It was delivered quickly and our meals were delicious. We will definitely go back to the Hyatt Centric hotel. 

Hyatt Centric Sacramento

Everyone there was so welcoming and the hotel smelled so good!! Bed was comfy no light coming in the room!! Amazing place. The restaurant was so tasty and there drinks strong and yummy I will definitely be going back 

Amazing staff beautiful hotel

The staff was great and very helpful/ accommodating. At every interaction they asked how I was enjoying my stay/room. Jazz at the front desk was especially helpful. Room was clean. Bathroom was nice. No tub. Happy hour menu  provides a nice cheaper option to regular restaurant menu. Location is walking distance to a variety of food options. The only thing I would change is to request a room away from the rooftop bar. I’m a light sleeper and the rooftop bar music/talking was a bit disturbing to my sleep. I’m confident if I would have asked for another room they would have been very accommodating but it wasn’t that serious.

Great customer service and staff. Valet parking. Adjacent to Downtown Commons. Large wall-mounted tv. Motion detector turns on lights when entering the room or getting out of bed. Historical property.

Historical property

It was very nice looking from entering the door to going to the room.  from valet, front desk, housekeeping they were all kind and willing to go out of their way.  The hotel seems a little unfinished.  Needs to offer info about the hotel and area in the room and lobby.  couldn't find the roof top bar because info wasn't available in the elevator sign or in the room.  Extremely great location.  Walked to old town and waterfront area very quickly.  Great food found nearby.

Great location in a boutique style hotel.

Clean and friendly very modern with classy finishes. The beds were excellent and fresh. The staff was amazing with very nice amenities such as a work out room and full restaurant and bar. I would definitely recommend 

Excellent place, clean and modern

Room was clean, bed comfortable, good quality bed and bath linens. But there were some major disappointments: Low shower water pressure. Cheap plastic toilet seat, already loose and wonky. No bathrobes. Only one duvet on the bed; it was either on or off, too cold or too hot, no middle ground. For $350/night, we were expecting something more upscale with more quality appointments. 


Disappointing for the price

I was celebrating an anniversary and decided to give this new Hyatt Centric a try (versus the Hyatt Recency).  I loved the decor and boutique feel.  They gave me excellent Hyatt globalist benefits, upgraded me to a higher room (without me asking) and even included a little gift inside the room for our anniversary.  The staff was all super friendly.

The room was dirty.  The room had markings on the walls and very dirty for a room of Hyatt standards.  The Fridge was not work.  The A/C was not working. Several calls and pictures were taken of the room.  The room was not cleaned by maid service.

Not Recommended stay

Loved our one night stay at the Hyatt Centric for our group. Kelsie Gaitan was fantastic to work with.  Next time I will get a room where I can play a vinyl. I had dinner and breakfast! Delish. Valet was fantastic. 

Friendly Staff, Cool vibe, Superb food

I experienced fantastic service and the hotel itself is immaculate. It's a got an upscale jazz/music theme to it that is evident even in the small touches like volume dials on the mirrors. The rooms are beautiful are the restaurant and lobby. From the outside it's unassuming, but inside-wow! Great place to stay if you want to be near the arena or DoCo or walking distance to the capitol. 

Great location and service, beautiful property

This is my first visit to Sacramento. The location was very convenient (walking distance to coffee, restaurants, and the capitol), the room was lovely, bed was perfection, and staff was very friendly and accommodating!

Great hotel!

I never leave reviews, but I was blown away at how great our stay was. The rooms were comfortable and beautiful. The hotel bar and restaurant had excellent food and service. We were extremely satisfied with our stay. We will be returning annually for our business trips!

Wonderful visit

This place is billed as a luxury hotel, but it’s not.  The rooms are small, the bathrooms are small and the walls in our room were dirty.  The attached restaurant was nothing special.  The food certainly didn’t match the price.  The one thing I did like was it’s location near the Golden 1 Center.

Not luxury

Was a quick trip to through sac for my 21st birthday. Drove 6+ hours and room was not ready until about an hour after our check in time (3:00). Service was nice and room was clean except for bathroom floor and marks by the bed wall which was a little bothersome. Overall it was an alright experience at the centric. Definitely recommend The Exchange Hotel instead.

Birthday trip

I had hoped to relax, watch a good movie on the big flat screen...
Politely alerting the hotel front desk staff that my room was missing a remote to the flat screen TV  revealed all around bad customer service from the front desk insisting that I had not looked in the right place, to the guy who was sent to find it and discovered that there wasn't a remote, to his return with a remote that didn't work that he wasn't going to test until I asked him to do so before he left, to the front desk wanting to charge me an additional $150 to move me from the room that was $300/night with a major amenity not working.

Bad Customer Service & Missing TV Remote

I was attending a conference and th Hyatt Centric was on the hotel list for the conference.  Although it was a little longer walk to the convention center than I expected, the hotel and it's staff made up for it in their service.  Fantastic service and attention from check in to check out.  I'll stay here again!

Great boutique hotel vibe

Pretty frustrating experience. No parking available for the hotel and was not notified of where we should park. Received attitude from the front desk when trying to find where to park. AC/Heater was not functioning properly in the room and amenities claim to come with chrome cast to watch you own shows did not function properly after calls to desk and getting the room “reset”. Definitely overpriced for what you get, find a different Hyatt. 

Pass if you can. Find a better Hyatt

Front desk staff were human kiosks, but with no labels on any of the buttons. Granted, I was having a rough day, but nothing a little smile or some measure of hospitality couldn’t have turned around. To finish off my experience how it started, I checked my bag with front desk staff while I attended the last day of my conference only to find it sat, unattended in the lobby all day. It was the weirdest hotel experience in all my travels. Property was nice enough and the bartender was fantastic. 

Wait For Staff Turnover

When we arrived we were told there was no valet parking available. To “make up for it” they gave us cards for free drinks - neither my husband nor I drink. The room was ok - but it was dark and the shower door was oddly positioned. I won’t be staying here again. 

Don’t stay here expecting to valet park

If you drive a pickup truck, they won’t valet for you. Also make sure you’re not double charged like I was. I’m still working on getting a refund after multiple calls to the hotel. The room itself was excellent. 

I stayed here recently for business, and while it is a nice hotel, the number of challenges I faced with billing and inaccurate charges due to staff mistakes, "system glitches" and then the headache of having to deal with getting these resolved; made the trip much more anxiety driven then it should have been. In addition, following me into the next week where I am still dealing with the charges and the hotel when it should have been resolved immediately. While the value was great, the amount of stress caused by this trip would not equate the savings. Also, the heating/cooling system was quite bright in the night and made it difficult to sleep if your sensitive to light. The rooms have automated motion sensor lights which could get annoying as they would turn off even if you were in the room if just watching tv etc.

BEWARE: Check your statements closely

please don't valet if you have a manual transmission. the food is good. the bed is good. the lighting is meh...too bright or too dark.

bad valet

Overall it is a really great hotel. The rooms were clean and really nice. The location is great. We were able to walk to great restaurants and shopping. And felt totally safe. The hotel restaurant was also delicious! My only complaint was the valet left my car on the street all night unlocked with the keys inside. That soured my stay. Without the valet incident I probably would have given 5 stars. 

Great Hotel. Bad Valet.

We parked our car with valet on Thursday and didn't need to ask for it back until we left on Saturday. We walked to and from the Kings game. The restaurant on the bottom floor serves good food, and if you need anythi g else it isn't more than a block away. Very convenient and pleasant stay.

My overall experience at the Hyatt Centric exceeded all expectations. The staff, quality of service, cleanliness of the rooms, and modern aesthetic is well worth the visit. They have a restaurant in house, but the central location makes it easy for the whole family to walk to restaurants and entertainment. Economically speaking you can not find a better deal anywhere located so close to everything Sacramento has to offer. Again, a must stay. 

The Hyatt Centric is a must stay!

One of the newest hotel opened last year with superb location. Minutes away from shopping , state capital and old town . Boutique designed and exceptional customer service. I highly recommend to people who wants to explore sacramento

Great hotel with good location and exceptional service

great hotel. near golden 1 center. nice employees. clean room. good view.  i have stayed here before and i will stay here again.  quick valet service. a good place to stay if you are going to the kings game and want to stay in sacramento.

Nice hotel

This Hyatt is in a walking distance to downtown, lots of shopping and restaurants.  Staff are amazing!  Very courteous, attentive, and helpful.  We did a valet parking which was super convenient.  There’s also a nice restaurant with a full bar.  Highly recommended 

Convenient Location

The front desk staff very congenial and responsive.  It was a pleasure interacting with them.  Room very clean and everything working.  Location is downtown near capital and convention center.  Note, cars require valet or offsite parking.   

Outstanding staff and clean rooms.

The day started as a fiasco, the doorman from another hotel recommended the you. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was great, smiles and courteous. The hostess of the restaurant was cute and sweet. The hotel is very attractive, not overbearing, intimate. The icing on the cake was seeing Ice Cube and Kevin Hart.

Quaintly comfortable

Company Christmas Party on Delta King. Great location and awesome views of the State Capitol. Nearby there is plenty of food, shopping, Old Town Sacramento. Close to music venues as well. If you plan a trip to Sacramento this is is an excellent place to stay. It has been newly renovated and upgraded.

Stayed on the 11th floor great view on a rainy day! Had breakfast in bed and food was delicious! Helpful staff! Superior comfort .. great pressure on shower and digital key access a plus! Will definitely be returning!

Above and Beyond

This hotel FAR exceeded expectations. Excellent staff service, the food is distinctive and excellent. The room was large, clean and well appointed. Location is perfect for downtown business. Recently remodeled historic hotel.

Fantastic Hotel for Sacramento Downtown

We were here for business & we’re not disappointed w/this place, it’s centrally located to a lot of restaurants, bakeries and shopping. There’s a restaurant bar on the sixth floor over looking the city 

Great location

Great location: near many bars and eateries, and it's right next to the Golden Center (I think that's what it's called?  The arena the Sacramento Kings play).

Aweome theme and decor: the theme and decor is music, and the furniture and vibe presented that in a tasteful way, without being too kitschy or overdone.

Great location. Clean and comfortable rooms. I booked a view room and loved all the windows. The street noise is noticeable in the early morning hours. If you need to go out at night I recommend Uber. I walked to a restaurant 10 mins away but the unhoused people there can be very vocal, not all of course but one can make you feel uncomfortable. I ubered back even though it was only a 4 min ride. Well worth it. Hotel overall is really great. 

Clean and centrally located in downtown

We came in for A Sacramento Kings game. The location could not have been closer!! The moment we walked into the lobby I knew this was a going to be a great place to stay. The rooms were very clean, great decor  and the beds were super comfy. They have an on site bar and restaurant that was fun to hang out in after the game. Only complaint was the lighting in the room was a bit dim. 

Location, comfort and ambiance

Saw a show at the Performing Arts Center and stayed just one night. Rooms are very stylish and fun design. Spacious and comfortable. Would 100% stay here again. Self check-in so did not interact with staff a ton but everyone seemed friendly. 

Incredible stay in downtown Sac

Excellent Hotel. We were Upgraded to the best suite they had as a globalist. Breakfast was great at the 7th St restaurant, probably the best breakfast sandwich I have ever tried. Mr. Sosa at the front desk was great. Very clean property. Only complain I’d say I have is the water pressure in the bathroom was super super low. 

Excellent Hyatt Centric

Love the Hyatt I stay when traveling, however this time the valet took extra long, my car smelled like weed (I don’t smoke) and the employee left his walkie/radio device under my seat and it alarmed me when driving with the low battery noise.
This was extremely unprofessional and negligent. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a vape pen and smoked in my car. 

Usually great

Hubby and I stole away for a date night.  Our usual is just to take a night away for us.  The parking was a little bit pricey but the room and food definitely made up for it.  The hotel itself is beautiful with a modern twist on Jazz.  The bed was so comfy.  We both fell asleep as we were watching the movies on the large screen tv.  We definitely be making this our future spot.  

Great Date Night for the Hubby and I

Stayed for 6 nights for the Ironman California race. Housekeeping never entered our room. Never changed towels, made the bed, cleaned the bathroom, or room. Never refilled soap, shampoo, coffee, etc. paying $350 night for zero service was beyond disappointing. We specifically asked for housekeeping for our room on check-in. If you expect service for your money go elsewhere. 

What happened to Hyatt

Rooms are very small, loud music outside until 12:30 am.  We did not get the deluxe room we reserved and were stuck in a much smaller room.  Music prevented and ruined any sleep opportunity.  Will not be staying there again.

Overrated

Beautiful rooms and friendly staff. Location is near Macys. I got to do some shopping and walked around the neighborhood. Valet and security staff was friendly as well, they took great care of my vehicle. 

Excellent customer service

Walking distance to Downtown Commons, ie DOCO, GoldenOne Center, the capital, great restaurants, Old Sacramento, and easy access to the freeway (if driving). I definitely recommend going to the rooftop bar either for a nightcap or happy house! I look forward to my stay again.

Great rooftop bar

I had a great stay at the Hyatt Centric in Downtown Sacramento. It was quiet for being downtown and having a huge concert next door. I was worried that the people staying would bring the concert to the hotel but that did not happen. The walls are soundproof so I wasn't kept up with my neighbors TV or loud talking. I don't recommend having a room close to the elevator because you do hear the constant sound of the elevator bell coming through the door. 

Safe and Central

A very friendly and welcoming environment!  Also a convenient location, easy to get to. The room was immaculate and quiet. Breakfast was prompt and delicious, with good service. The valet service was very friendly and the app used to retrieve my car was efficient. 

Excellent all-around

Nice alternative to the usual limited Sacramento hotel options. Lobby and bar are hip in design and vibe. Valet told us they were full until I asked what they expect hotel guests to do. The overall stay was good. 

Good Sacramento Option

Two night stay at Hyatt Centric downtown Sacramento was a great experience. Loved the modern/retro vibe. The room was very comfortable, clean and had all the amenities. Staff well trained. Bar and restaurant very good.

Modern Luxury

I came to town for business and stayed at another hotel. The condition was unacceptable so I checked out and booked at the Hyatt Centric. The experience was better than expected. This hotel saved my four day trip. It was clean and has a great location. I would bring my family here!

AwesomeNESS

The location and cleanness of hotel is the best!  I was very welcome as a globalist and their food is phenomenal!!  You should experience yourself!  Also location is next to DOCO plaza which is great to hang out with family.

True gem hotel in Sacramento

Indifferent staff, poor service, nonexistent housekeeping, Contribute to make this hotel not up to Hyatt standards.  When you select Hyatt, you are making an assumption about a certain level of service.  Sadly, in our week stay there, all of this was lacking.

Not up to Hyatt standards.

Multiple calls to the front desk to get housekeeping. Very difficult to get them to clean the room and change towels etc. We stayed multiple nights and this was an ongoing issue. Also, they charged me $40 a day for Valet, a service I never used.

Could not get them to clean our room

Excellent service from the valet service, bell service, and appreciation as a member. Overall this hotel is very unique, clean, fun and outstanding service. The location is also near some really great restaurants and the Golden 1 center where our group was headed for an event. We visited on a Thursday which was a vacation for us and my only suggestion would be for the bar to be open a little before checkin time so if were early we can sit down for a drink.

Great stay and location

Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was small but nice. Valet parking was $40 and it was full. Due to the location of the hotel street parking was difficult. Self parking across the street in a parking lot but hotel doesn't validate. No parking accommodations for handicap. Lots of shops and restaurants.  Can be a little noisy at night on weekends.

Do your research

We (three of us, in three rooms), came in on a business trip. We all wanted to eat dinner, but the Kitchen closed at 9:00pm. Luckily, we didn't have to pay for the rooms. There was not a closet, and the bathrooms were really small. These are both very sub-standard for the type of hotels I stay in (250? nights/year). The cost was VERY HIGH, considering they type of room we got, and the lack of services...early closure of the kitchen. The beds, and bedding, were VERY NICE!

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE, especially considering the type of room, and The Kitchen closed VERY EARLY: 9:00pm.

I paid a premium rate for this hotel, and it didn't measure up.  I stayed 4 nights, and they didn't clean the room until I complained--the people at the front desk blithely said that there is only maid service upon request (which was not communicated at check-in or written down anywhere).  They charged $40/night for valet, but when I needed to get my car out, I waited more than 30 minutes for my car and then they brought the wrong car(!).  When I finally got my car, the AC and radio were cranking, which is not how I left it.  The second time I needed my car, it again took almost half an hour to get it.  The room was fine, but the thermostat was set to 77 degrees and couldn't be adjusted, so a little too warm.  The food was good.

Below expectations

There were fleas in my first room. Found two, was really disgusted. The staff is very helpful and friendly, which I appreciated. I just have never stayed at a hotel where I saw fleas. One was in the bed, jumping around. I was so disgusted, washed all my clothes from this trip separately when I got home.

Loved the hotel and the Billie Holiday vibe. Staff was courteous. They have a speakeasy lounge open but it is only open after 6pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They also have a bar on the first floor and they are conveniently located. There is not a big sign out front so I did have to do a few circles to find the hotel.

Great Hotel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Centric during a family visit. The hotel is well designed with open atrium that feels airy, the room is very functional and clean(except the bedside lamps seem disproportionately large in size) .  Would definitely stay here again next time.

Hip hotel at a perfect location

Hotel was immaculate as they always are. The dining and rooftop bar are great after work. The location has a lot to offer with it's proximity to entertainment, eating, and shopping as well. It is right next to the Golden1 Center which is a perk! 

Great Hotel & options

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any hotel. When I arrived, Josh greeted me at valet. He was very friendly and answered all of my questions clearly and thoroughly. He showed me how to summon my car from my phone, and explained that once I call my car, it should take about 10 minutes before it arrives. It was a wonderful first impression! Upon check-in, I was told my room was not yet ready. This was inconvenient, but as expected, because I was aware that I could request early check-in, but it was not guaranteed. I was under the impression I could enjoy the rooftop bar while waiting for my room, but was informed at the time of my arrival that the rooftop bar did not open until 5pm. Josue at the front desk was very warm and helpful. He suggested I try the bar downstairs, and even offered a complimentary beverage to make things right. He offered to hold onto my bags as well until my room is ready, though I was a little displeased the hotel doesn’t offer bell services, and had to carry my bags myself. Josue even went the extra mile to bring my room keys to me himself while I was waiting. My experience at the bar downstairs was the best experience I had all weekend, notably thanks to Chris. Chris was so friendly and warm! He made the wait for my room pass quickly, chatting with me and making me two incredibly delicious drinks! He is not only a talented bar tender, but an amazing addition to the team due to his warm hospitality and top-tier customer service. Hyatt is lucky to have him. When my room became available, I went upstairs to find my room in the most disgusting condition I’ve ever seen. The bed was unmade, and there were opened half-eaten take out containers everywhere! There was water and towels on the floor. It looked and smelled as though it had never been cleaned. I called the front desk and spoke with Jones, who apologized and promptly gave me a new room. The room was sub-par and the view unimpressive, but at least it was clean. Later on I needed to purchase some items from the front desk. The app was awful and made the process long and inconvenient, and nobody at the desk was helpful, pushing me aside to help other guests. When it came time for my important business meeting, I summoned my car with plenty of time to spare, just in case. The valet showed up with the wrong car, and I explained their mistake, only to be told that there was a problem with the ticket number, and they had LOST MY CAR. I waited nearly 30 minutes before they finally found it, and then was informed the car was blocked in and would take even more time to retrieve it. I was irate. I ended up missing my important meeting and losing my best client because of this careless mistake. I was promised it wouldn’t happen again. Upon my return to the hotel, I was greeted by Sacramento’s finest residents, including several homeless hanging around outside and a few thugs who hung around the hotel lobby and made the whole place reek of cannabis. I would have appreciated a security guard or two. I was able to visit the rooftop bar later, where I found the food and drinks were nothing short of disgusting. I expected an elevated experience, but the hostess was impolite and the server was less than satisfactory. I was again unimpressed with the view. The drinks tasted like they were concocted by my three year old son, trying his best to give an elevated experience, though I would have preferred his mud pies. The food was not fresh nor tasty. I think I had one bite and left the rest. The next day, I thought I’d give room service a try, but was once again disgusted at the quality of the food. My breakfast smelled and tasted like garbage, and it looked like something my cat threw up. I threw away the breakfast and ordered DoorDash instead. When I had to return to work, again the valet brought the wrong car, and AGAIN I was late for work. I refused to pay for valet services, and Josue tried his best to make things right, waving the valet fee and even offering a credit on my account, but the damage was already done. If it weren’t for the few stellar employees, this hotel would certainly collapse. It is a prime example of how to over-promise and under-deliver. I will never stay at Hyatt Centric in downtown Sacramento again.

The hotel was clean and beautiful, but the staff is why I’m giving this high review. From the second we walked in, this young staff made us feel like friends. They went beyond what I expected. Amazing

Excellent Staff

Saturday night stay just to get out, Sacramento is about an hour away from home.  Love this Hyatt Centric!  Very boutique-like, restaurant was excellent, ditto the bar. I have never received such a great welcome by hotel staff.  Room was fresh and modern, modern HVAC that worked with no noise, hotel is located in a fun area--lots of people out and about on a Saturday night. Steps from Golden One Center plus many other entertainment/dining options.  Will definitely return.  I also stayed at the Hyatt Regency the week before (just a few blocks away), and I will not be returning to that one.  100% happier at the Hyatt Centric.

Excellent Stay

No pool no 24 hour room service. The guy at the bar wouldn’t take my order because he was judging by my appearance I didn’t have money. Thankfully the lady manager stepped in and saved the day.other than that east fast check in love vallet

Newer version of the citizens hotel

I was very pleased to find a lovely spacious room at this location. I could do yoga, spread my work out & honestly didn't want to leave my room, but managed to get myself down to their lovely restaurant with great service, delish food and a fine glass of wine

Gorgeous Hyatt Property in Downtown Sacramento!!

Poorly trained front desk staff. Quick to say no instead of trying to accommodate guests. Not welcoming overall, especially compared to how other properties extend courtesy to Globalists. No sense of going above and beyond with enthusiasm. Restaurant staff and food were excellent. 

Subpar Globalist Experience

This hotel just a few blocks from the State Capitol has been flawlessly decorated in a design that is very hip, but remains comfortable with unique furnishings and fixtures. The staff were wonderful and the restaurant was among the best I've eaten in quite a while. I'd return over and over.

Modern, friendly, beautiful hotel in Downtown Sacramento

Great experience- we needed a night away in the city and we got exactly what we wanted. Wonderful dining, gorgeous room and common area decorations. Kitchen/dining room staff was phenomenal- opted to have drinks and appetizers in the bar, dinner later, and breakfast delivered the next morning. Room service breakfast Sunday morning took a while and was simply packaged in to-go containers, but it was still delicious.

Beautiful property! Order the pork belly bites!

Very nice hotel with a great staff.  Clean rooms and nice comfy beds.  Good restaurant and bar.  Good vibe overall.  Unfortunately, homeless crazies have infiltrated the neighborhood and have made a nice area sketchy.  40 dollar parking per night.  Hyatt regency down the street charges 25 per night and is a nicer hotel.  Good experience overall.

It's nice to go to a hotel where the staff are so friendly. I had a 1 night stay for business and everyone was very helpful. The room was nice and clean, could have used more shampoo/conditioner but fine otherwise.

Comfortable beds, great front staff

Best place to stay for concerts or events at the  golden one Arena... staff always friendly and rooms clean and comfortable.. had a great night sleep and having valet parking is a plus you don't have to pay for parking or try to fight the concert crowd after

Great getaway

Very convenient location for events at Golden 1 Center. Just a 3 minute walk. But expect to pay for parking since there isn't any nearby, you must valet if you want your car nearby.

The restaurant below, 7th Street Standard was excellent in service and the managers were extremely helpful. Hotel room was spacious and modern. Valet parking with the text app that makes is so simple.  Enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!  

Graduation Celebration

I've been to multiple different Hyatt locations and never had any issues until i arrived at this location. Some of the issues we ran into 1. We wanted to watch Netflix late night and Chromecast did not work. 2. we were locked out of our room for over 30 minutes because our digital room key did not work. 3. Coffee pot did not work. 4. This location does not offer breakfast like all other locations.

Wish I could have stayed longer. As with every stay I have had at a Centric location the room and service was excellent. Only had breakfast downstairs but it was exceptional. I look forward to visiting again and hope to stay longer. Safe travels!

Great one night stay

Showed up expecting valet parking and was told valet parking was full.  Directed to lots nearby, which did not have overnight parking.  Any overnight parking was more than 3 miles away from hotel.  Found a lot with 12 hour parking and ended up with a ticket at 630am for expired parking permit.  

No parking

This hotel is pretty great!  Walking into the lobby you are welcomed by a well or records.  Great music streams through the lobby as you walk towards the guitar shaped check-in desk.  There is plenty of lobby seating with books on music to read.  The lobby is decorated in a black, white, and gold color scheme with an emphasis on music.  This hotel is located near the Sacramento Kings arena, the Capital building, Old Town Sacramento, and many museums.  They have a restaurant downstairs and a roof-top bar on the 6th floor.  The restaurant was delish and the bar upstairs had a great atmosphere for a nightcap.  The rooms are decorated, as the lobby was, in a rock and roll theme.  Everything looked like an amp and the carpet looked like guitar chords.  Nicely appointed with all the bells and whistles you would like and the room was super clean.  They even have the shower handle reachable so you don't get wet when you turn it on!  Very roomy too.  The valet service worked through your phone and super convenient.  We ordered before we left our room and it was pulling up as we were coming out of the elevator.  Def recommend this hotel!  It was really a fun stay.  Everyone was very nice and super helpful.  

Great Music Hotel

The Hyatt Centric has a premier location for restaurants and activities.  Newly renovated, it's in good condition and has a casual modern vibe.  The rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable.  The service is friendly and there are no lines to wait in!

Great Location

Location location location. Very easy to move throughout the city from this hotel. Staff were very friendly, property is super clean and modern.  breakfast was AMAZING! There's no business center so that was a down side. Took a while to get luggage.

Conveniently located

Great luxury hotel.  Beautiful decor and great music greets you when walk into the lobby.  The staff was very friendly.  The bar/lounge on the 6th was perfect with great drinks and even better music.  The whole place is a vibe!

Worst hotel experience ever!!! And I’ve been to many. Tub plug didn’t work so no bath. Floors weren’t fully swept. Flashing status lights in the room all day and night long are very disruptive, especially when it’s nighttime. Extremely noisy inside and outside. The road right outside with construction and traffic all day AND night. No sleep at all, and no one seemed to care or offer any suggestions for alternative approaches like maybe a fan or noise machine, or offered earplugs. Nothing. No complimentary water in room. Limited toiletries and not the same brand as advertised. Water pressure very weak. No tea offered on in-room beverage station. No hotel entrance sign. No ride-share pick ups anywhere near the hotel so you have to walk several blocks to get picked up to go places. No valet parking. No parking of any kind. And you don’t find out about it until you try to park to check in and there’s nothing there. Not even a sign to say what to do. Why isn’t every guest getting a notification about no parking IN ADVANCE?!?!?  I cannot figure out why they are allowed to charge $450 for less than 24 hours stay when you don’t even get to sleep or park. Want a refund!!!

Never Again

I've always stayed at other hotels while staying in Sacramento, but if in the future I get an opportunity to pick where I stay, it will definitely be at the Centric! It has been very nicely renovated and is very classy! I seriously look forward to staying there again next time! The gym is a welcome amenity, and if I need a complete "hardcore" workout, its right next to 24 hour fitness. And with it being right next to the Golden 1 Center, you can't beat its location! It's definitely a sleeper or better yet, a true hidden gem!

A welcome change!

Conveniently located - walkable to Old Sacramento and the Historic District, Capital Grounds and lots of downtown eateries. Close to a lot of great street art! Clean, friendly staff, easy check-in and check-out! 

Lovely Stay

Went to a VA appointment at Mather and took my girlfriend for a great night in town, we felt real fancy being there. We are from Redding CA so it was nice to spend a night living a Champagne Life on a beer budget for a change. 

My stay

Small yet beautifully appointed in the center of Sacramento.  Rooms have a swanky feeling and decor.  Bathroom was great and shower has excellent water pressure.  Very comfortable bed.  Breakfast was excellent!
