Enjoyed the vibe of the Centric. Furnishings remind me of scandanivian charm and aesthetic. Staff was pleasant and professional. Al La carte breakfast was good; buffet breakfast underwhelming. I would return. 

Modernist Take in Center City

Perfect central location.  Walk to museums, convention center, and every great restaurant that Philly has to offer.  We were disappointed in the buffet breakfast.  Cost was $26 each, no juice included.  Cold sausage and bacon, and minimal selection.  Go around the corner to the Parc instead.  Exceptional breakfast there.  

Love the hotel, but go elsewhere for breakfast

We stayed at this hotel overnight for a concert in the city.  This hotel is located very close to lots of shops, restaurants and is very accessible to subway.  It's also super clean and comfortable.  Staff was very helpful as well.  Would definitely come back to this Hyatt Centric. 

Great location and CLEAN hotel

I love this hotel it's in the heart of Philadelphia and it's close to the best restaurants. The hotel is  modern, good gym, and friendly staff. I love the room layouts, perfect for work and room for all of your stuff. I'm Dimond with Hyatt and this is one of my favorite hotels.  

Great hotel & Great location

I was greeted with a friendly smile and great service upon check-in. Courtney was very helpful with suggestions of restaurants. This hotel is located in near the art district of Philly is has plenty of shopping, dining and night life within walking distance.

Just needed to get away

The hotel is located in the City's Rittenhouse Sq neighborhood so it is close to everything including easy walking distance to City Hall, Constitution / Liberty Bell Mall area; and the Phlash bus route that can take you to all the major landmarks and museums (free to seniors). There are many great restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel.  The hotel lobby is distinctive and comfortable.  We ate in the resturant (Pathworks) for breakfast and had cocktails at the end of the day. 

I'd be a return Guest.

The room was very clean and well appointed. Bed was supremely comfortable.  Even though we were down town (great location) it was quiet. This was the Best hotel stay during our road trip down the east coast from New York to North Carlolina.  

Clean and Comfortable

I arrived at check-in time, only to find the garage full, due to a wedding on property. Front desk directed me to park at a different hotel, but they were also full. Had to park four blocks away, in the rain. No issues with room, but the a/c can be noisy when turning off and on. I've noticed this in multiple rooms at this property. Friendly staff.

Great location if you want to stay in Rittenhouse square area, and reasonably priced.
Rooms are great. New modern design, hardwood floors, beds are comfortable, cant hear sounds in neighboring rooms

Pleasant surprise in Rittenhouse square

Enjoyed a 3 Day visit to Philly over Labor Day weekend with our family. Hotel was very clean, rooms are spacious, and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The location is in walking distance of Love Park and City Hall. 

Great location and service

The interior design of the hotel is very nice, cosy and elegant. You can see the raw wood next to bluish wallpaper and paintings everywhere, which is very very soothing and pleasing to the eye. The breakfast was tasty and the fruits were fresh and crisp. The room was spacious. I really appreciated that a small lamp turned on when I woke up from the bed to lighten the way towards the restroom.

The AC was too strong and could not be adjusted to a weaker fan rate. The breakfast selection could have been better.

Very cosy and elegant hotel with perfect rooms and location.

My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel for four nights, booked through Amex travel in two separate reservations for two nights each. Our experience was a bit of a mixed bag, with both positive and negative aspects.

The first two nights went quite smoothly, and we were satisfied with the overall service and amenities provided. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant stay during this part of our trip.

However, the second two nights left much to be desired. The biggest disappointment was the dining options. We had dining credits to utilize, but unfortunately, the restaurant was not open for lunch, limiting our chances to fully enjoy the credits. Consequently, we ended up resorting to the snack bar to grab some fruit and sandwiches. Unfortunately, some of the food items were already expired, which was quite concerning. Even more disappointing, one of the sandwiches had mildew on the third day, despite the expiration date indicating it should have been safe to consume until 8/6.

When we brought these concerns to the front desk, we initially faced resistance when requesting a receipt printout to verify the charges.  The situation improved when another staff member arrived to investigate the matter. They were understanding and diligent, reading through each transaction and promptly confirming that we had not placed any orders on those specific items.

Overall, the hotel has great potential, but there are definite areas that need improvement. Ensuring the restaurant's availability for lunch would be a significant step forward, as well as keeping a closer eye on the snack bar's inventory to prevent expired items from being offered to guests. The staff's initial skepticism towards our concerns was off-putting, but the second staff member's attentiveness and helpfulness managed to salvage our impression.

In the future, we hope to see more consistent service and better attention to detail, as it would certainly make this hotel a more reliable and enjoyable choice for travelers.

Mixed Experience, Some Room for Improvement

The Hyatt has very limited on street parking, so you almost have to utilize valet parking. Room accommodations were excellent. Rooms were outfitted nicely, and staff were friendly and helpful. Had a nice breakfast at the Patchwork Restaurant.



Great hotel but difficult parking

The hotel seems relatively new and uniquely decorated. I would not recommend this hotel for a family. The bathroom does not have a privacy door. We could hear guest in the neighboring room at 6:30 am in the morning.  The walls are uniquely thin.  I have observed better construction/noise barrier in other hotels within/outside the Hyatt brand. Surprised at the poor construction. Not impacting my rating is the high cost of parking at the hotel.  There is a parking lot managed by LAZ which is connected to the hotel where Valet parking is the only option.. and it comes with a steep cost of $62-65/day. I believe there was another parking garage also in neighborhood which was more reasonable. Hopefully other travelers will do a better job planning  

Not very family friendly

Very pleased with the Hyatt Centric in Philly.  Excellent location, the staff was great and the property appeared  brand new.  Room rate was comparable to similar hotels.  Highly recommend.  Will definitely book again.  

Excellent Hotel Experience

We checked in for Two Day Stay on Thursday.  On the morning of Friday, I called the front Desk and later texted the Hotel  to have rooms #807 and #809 cleaned with new Towels and Fold out Sofa put back in place.  The sofa was put back in place but furniture and cushions were not arranged. When we came back to the Hotel late on Friday night, to our surprise, the rooms were not cleaned and no fresh Towels. It was too late to call for room service!   When we checked in on Thursday and came to the room, there was food left in the Top of the Shelf that was smelly possibly left by the people who occupied the room #809 previously. 

Expereinec

Love the Hyatt Centric. Great location, great staff, well maintained and clean property. Only negative I would have to say on this trip was the king mattress was not comfortable. Did not experience this with our last stay with a queen bed.

Return Stay

The entire hotel was very clean, modern and inviting! First floor staff greeting was a welcome touch that made me feel more comfortable during my stay. I wish they offered a continental breakfast, but there were plenty of other options nearby. Only thing I’d change about the room is the bed was harder than my personal preference. 

Modern and clean!

I had no idea that parking is additional at the hotel $65.00 per day. This is a ridiculous charge that you have no choice to pay. I habe never experienced a major hotel charging for parking. This is the reason I likely will not return.

Very clean and comfortable

I stayed in the Corner Suite during a mid week visit, the room was a great size for multiple people.  The hotel is in a great location near Rittenhouse, we found it convenient to get around.  Hotel is decorated nicely, the room was clean and had nice amenities.  I had reached out to the hotel prior to staying to request a welcome note for a family's members first visit to the city, and they happily replied and left a thoughtful welcome.

We didn't stop at the cafe but it seemed popular with guests.  I would definitely recommend the Hyatt Centric when visiting Philadelphia, and would visit again.

Great stay in a convenient location

We were very impressed with our stay. Clean, pretty, and spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Umbrellas at the ready on rainy days. Excellent location, close to many good restaurants and nice areas.

Excellent location, clean room, great staff.

Hotel is super classy, clean and convienient.  Staff is so responsive.  Room view was beautiful.  We would stay here again in the future as well as recommend to family and friends. Location was perfect for what we needed, close  to everything.  We could walk to most places without any issue. 

Fantastic Center City Hotel - Exceptional

First off: it’s a pretty new joint. Clean, easy, best location. Ten minute walk to most downtown sights. The team knows the city and will give you advice. The evening bar staff, hopefully she’s still there was awesome. The room had a wonderful view, everything worked and we were happy

Great Hotel close to everything

This hotel is a gem at the heart of downtown Philadelphia! I stayed here last week while in town for a family function and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a modern, clean, comfortable space for their own visit to the city. My room was spacious with a very comfy king sized bed and large remodeled shower area. The hotel also has an excellent fitness center with plenty of free weights, benches, and weight machines, so not just a bunch of treadmills. In terms of meals, the hotel has a restaurant on the main level. I enjoyed a nice breakfast there for an extra fee, and there were no issues with having it charged to my room. 

In terms of location, the hotel is centrally located appx 2 blocks south of Walnut Street in between 16th and 17th streets. It is easily walkable from nearby train stations. If you're coming from the airport by car, just keep in mind the roads around the hotel are all one-way, so your driver may need to let you out at the corner depending on which route they take. Given the hotel's central location, it is near loads of restaurants so you should have no trouble finding places to eat, as well as shopping (in case you forgot to pack something!).

I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Hotel in Downtown Philly!

Nice hotel, clean and updated rooms, nice location in relation to the convention center. I was able to walk if I wanted to. I was given the option to have housekeeping or not (which is understandable after all of the implications of the COVID era). The only area that I would suggest needing improvement is having more staff at the restaurant bar/restaurant. 

Conference Travel

Wasn’t sure I was going to like a hotel room without carpeting as funny as that sounds but this is inviting, modern and comfortable.  Also has dry bar hair dryers so you can move on quickly in the morning.

Great location and great property

Selected Hyatt Centric for its location and as it was rated 4.8. Located on a dark narrow street where you are greeted by the most bizarre entry doors.  Not automatic and very hard to open manually.  The swirch to open them is awkward,especially if you have luggage.   Upgrade to a “city view” suite online and was given a dark, dingy cement box with a view of the brick building across the narrow street mentioned above.  Seemed understaffed as everything is these days.  Just not an upscale hotel for 350.00 a night

Not a 4.8, poor property

Love Hyatt Centric. We stayed at its executive suite and was more than satisfied with the space and decor. The hotel was almost brand new. The front desk was very helpful and nice. 
The location is great. Within 15 mins walk to the theaters and the best Italian in Philadelphia. We will consider this location again next time in town. 

Great hotel in downtown Philadelphia

We booked this for a procedure at UPenn to stay the night before it.

What a warm and welcoming room  staying there again for another procedure.
 Definitely will be our primary hotel going forward in Philly 


Spectacular

This hotel was excellent. Very friendly staff, clean and the location is one you cannot beat. My only complaint, which is typical for downtown, is the parking. I thought that the hotel would have adequate parking for its guest but that is not the case. I would definitely book again the next time I visit Philly. 

Great Place to Stay

It was clean, it’s new, the rooms are great, the staff is great, overall, this is the best Hyatt that I’ve ever stayed in. I was unaware that Centric is a new line of Hyatt Hotels, I would not hesitate to stay in one again – in fact, I would seek one out were it to be an option at my travel destination. 

A great place to stay

Love the experience - the location is in the heart of downtown and in walking distance to all major sites and venues - walkable neighborhood - lots of shops and restaurants in the area - despite located downtown - very quiet hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and give lots of great recommendations of things to do in the city!

Great location at the heart of Philly

Hotel was in a great location with parks, shops, food within walking distance. Great food hall so close by. Staff is very helpful. Rooms and public areas very clean. Ice machine has water bottle fill station.

Great Clean hotel

Amazing location near lots of restaurants shops and bars. Walking distance to everytbing! Staff is great! Rooms were super clean and beautifully decorated! The location was amazing and the overall hotel was great! Highly recommended 

Amazing location!!

Nice modern user friendly shower. 
The bed was comfortable bed and the room was quiet with a very nice view from the 13th floor.  The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, especially Valerie who fully exceeded our expectations in providing us with information. We culdn't ask for more. We will book a stay here again. 

Perfect

As a globalist of Hyatt hotels I expect to receive 5 star service. At this hotel I have never received above 2 star service. I have given this hotel multiple opportunities to get it right and each time they dropped the ball. The hotel is beautiful and has the perfect location. 

Four Star Hotel-Two Star Service

Location is perfect. Very walkable for shopping, restaurants and Convention Center. Staff very attentive. Enjoyed workout room. Brief walk up one block for great coffee at Peet's for a great price if you use Capital One Card💖

NTI Conference stay.

This hotel is immaculate and designed impeccably.  It's not the Ritz, but they don't try to be - they are an absolutely wonderful reasonably priced home away from home.  The front desk staff is absolutely fantastic - so kind and helpful, fast, and just great.  The rooms are wonderful.  Big enough to really spread out in.  That's what I love so much.  They don't skimp on the important things but they know exactly what you need.  The restaurant is also great!  I love it, and it's so convenient.  I work from home but so does my husband so it gets a bit loud - I go to this hotel to have my own space and I thank God when I do.  It is absolutely wonderful.  I am very particular as well (not in a mean way!) and this hotel meets every need and more.

Best Kept Secret in Philly

Overall very nice place to stay. We stayed in a king bed room. It was very clean, smelled clean. The building renovation look rather new. Staff were helpful. The shower and toilet were separate which was different. The shower was only partially closed by fogged glass. The pillows gave us neck pain, though. There was no tub in the king room. We stayed for a conference and there was a very frequent shuttle from the hotel to the convention. The hotel offered very early table service breakfast, which was nice in preparation for the convention. 

Stay for NTI Conference

The hotel overall is clean. Room is clean. Room furnishings are new and modern. Bed is firm.
Love the hardwood floors in the room. Hallway carpets are new and clean.
2 bottles of water provided in the room which is helpful.


Clean and modern hotel in Rittenhouse Square

The Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia took great care of me through their welcoming email and text. They answered my questions promptly and checked in to make sure everything was meeting my satisfaction and needs. They were also in no way intrusive with their texts. Just the right amount of contact. Bed was comfortable and cozy. Had a happy stay!

A Warm Welcome & Stay

I stayed three nights with my 19-year-old granddaughter. The room was modern and clean with an interesting layout, the toilet being in a separate space from the shower and sink. No door to separate the shower and sink area from the rest of the room, although it was in an alcove so some privacy was possible. The location is convenient and we could walk to everywhere in the center city and fashion district. Parking at $65 a night seemed quite expensive. Breakfast at the hotel was also quite expensive and we found better options elsewhere. 

Clean, modern, walkable location

Staying here was one of my best hotel experiences I’ve had. The room itself was nice and well appointed. The toilet is separate from the shower and sink, which was weird for a second, but makes so much sense. I know I was here solo, but how nice if someone wants the toilet or shower both can be occupied without taking the whole bathroom. I have also never stayed in a hotel where I really couldn’t hear other guests. I would have thought I was the only one on the floor except I saw people. And the best part of all was the kind, professional, and efficient service I had. 

Stay here

The room was very very clean, but he entrance of the hotel is depressing and dirty. The location was very good. The air conditioner/heater was way too loud to sleep. They charge for coffee downstairs! No hotel does that anymore! It was very inconvenient not to have a door near the shower and sink area. Nowhere to change. No privacy at all. Get out of shower and y ou are standing there with a no type of door whatsoever.

No bathroom door!

Dirty sheets, tiny room, no parking (even the valet parking), staff “unable to accommodate” a rollaway bed. 
One of the worst hotel stays I’ve had in a while.
Now, if I were staying at a Motel 6 or something, I probably wouldnt have thought twice. But this is not the quality I’ve come to expect from a Hyatt. Especially as a World of Hyatt member.
I will probably be canceling the membership and my Hyatt credit card following this trip. I’ve been having much better luck 

Not what you’d expect from a hyatt

Relatively new. Very clean and well maintained. I liked the modern look. The rooms are very modern and efficient. The only odd feature was the parking. All of the parking was valet. The access to the parking was by elevator that only the attendant could use. Not a big deal.

Excellent Stay

This was an unauthorized charge to our credit card after an ex-employee had stayed there last month. It is difficult to get anyone at reservations to answer the phone to remove charges. Credit card authorizations must be changed.

Service all around was good. Front desk was very responsive and helpful. Coffee maker, free bottled water, wi-fi, blow-dryer, plenty of charging outlets, tv, small fridge, good pillows/beds = great experience! Didn't have to wait too long for elevators. Phones were answered quickly when we needed something. Only thing I would have liked is more closet space for hanging clothes as we were there for a wedding and had lots of clothes to hang. 

Clean comfortable rooms w great views

Stayed for work and an extra night to sightsee. The hotel was very clean, visually appealing, comfortable, and conveniently located but still very quiet and secure. Would definitely recommend for either business or personal travel.

Convenient, comfortable, and clean!

We really enjoyed our stay, room was nice and clean. The only non issue was that there was only one robe.  Bathroom was clean, bed was average, plenty of   places to eat and drink, plenty to do as  well. Would do it again!

Enjoyable

Very happy with our stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Highly recommend. Everyone is super friendly and went out of their way. The room was very clean and comfortable. Loved it!

Waiting period for food was one hour and 10 minutes. Valet service was the slowest I found compare to my stats in other hotels, not al so happy with the stay

Terrible

Location is perfect for easy access to shopping and dining. Right around the corner from Rittenhouse Square. Historic sites and museums can be easily reached by car/uber/taxi. Rittenhouse area makes for a good impression. The hotel is modern and the staff were happy to help. Parking garage attached to hotel is another reason for the stay if you travel by car. We enjoyed eating at Rouge, Chris' Jazz Cafe and the Pizzeria across the street. Fun eats at Insomnia Cookies, Carlo's Bakery (10 minute walk), Spread Bagelry and Reading Terminal Market by the convention center. Take a stroll around to see the historic architecture, brownstone neighborhoods. 

Philly for the history

Well maintained hotel and at the heart of the shopping district. Restaurants are close by for a quick bite. We experienced a few glitches with the facilities during our 5-night stay but nothing major. Well designed room. We will stay here again. 

Clean and good location

I loved the convenience of the location, short walking distance to everything I needed. Nice secure site, spacious room and excellent friendly service. The ride service had a hard time with pick so just make sure you type in the hotel address instead of letting your gps on your phone provide the location. 

Go to spot in Philly

Clean, fresh, nice decor, and most of all friendly staff -- cleaning crew was excellent, front desk too. Very simple, direct place to stay. We parked on the street in front. There are also 2 lower cost parking lots but they are not in/out, as the Hyatt lot is. You need your room key to get into the exterior door of the hotel at night, which was tricky for other guests, & we helped them figure it out after a bit! Entry is a little odd, as it's street entry, but the hotel lobby is upstairs.

Excellent staff, great hotel

The location of this hotel is perfect. In walking distance of many sites and shopping. The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfy. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The decor of the room was nice. The only issue is that the shower and sink are separate and there is no door to this area which does not allow for privacy.

Nice hotel

We came in early to explore the city before a business conference and the hotel was perfect for both. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My sister even remote worked from the hotel one day and had no complaints. Centrally located to all the sites and my business meeting, which was awesome too. 

Perfect for fun and business

The Hyatt Center City Philadelphia was a great hotel in very nearly every respect. The decor is lovely and the rooms are very nicely decorated. I liked the setup of the bathroom in the room, which was unusual as the toilet and the shower were separated on either side of the room. The bar/restaurant area was bustling when we were there, but the service didn't suffer at all and we had some lovely cocktails there. The location is fantastic - it's a block from Rittenhouse Square and close to so many good bars and restaurants. The only setback we experienced was that the parking garage was full, despite the sign indicating that hotel guests may still park there. Even though the parking attendant was not very helpful, the front desk staff was able to provide a list of nearby parking options which was a big help.

Charming hotel in great location

Hotel experience is over-accommodating (which is FABULOUS). My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and they actually saw the additional note which I wrote as an additional note and they remembered. My wife and I were able to get an upgrade too with a nice view which was great. Overall, I keep sharing this Hyatt Centric with my family because I think all the little things are answered for example:

- Professional Scott Tissue
- Motion Activate Bed Lights
- Large Bathroom Shower
- Clean and Dusted areas
- Great TV Channel Options and TV is super clear 
- Love the Hardwood floors compared to carpet
- Full Size Shampoo & Conditioner is greatly appreciate by my wife
- Warm Illuminated back-lighting around room
- Bed Comforter, Sheets, and Pillows - The Comforter is warm but not heavy which is great
- Patchwok Restaurant is great! I love the Steak and Truffle Fries - The steak was seasoned so well that I wish I had ordered another to go.

Overall a lot of the things noticed in the Centric (Phila, PA) are things that my wife and I have tried to implement in our own apartment so will enjoy your stay.

Excellent Experience

This hotel was very reasonable priced and had an excellent location.  Really enjoyed the hotel bar, the drinks were good and reasonably priced.  Hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable and gave good recommendations on things to do and see.

Hyatt Philadelphia

This hotel is consistently easy and everything you could want and need.  Great location, quite, clean, friendly efficient staff.  I highly recommend to anyone staying in the city who wants access to shops and dining in easy walking distance at an affordable price. 

Fantastic Option in the Heart of Center City

Great location to Philly restaurants and attractions- 2 block walk to Rittenhouse Square- easy check in and check out- a boutique style hotel- staff was very helpful and courteous- hotel located in a quiet street

Location

Our room was extra comfy and like a tiny apartment, but plenty of room for us and our tiny poodle. The bed was comfy and everything was clean including the lobby. We really enjoyed our stay as it was mostly nice and quiet. We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant which was really delicious. A nice area to hang out as well. Hit or miss with the staff friendliness in reception and dining. They offer housekeeping upon request, but the maids were very friendly and stopped by to ask if I need anything during my stay. Gave me extra coffee and water. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Very Nice and Clean Hotel with Great Central Location

An amazing property. Very clean and efficiently designed. One block away from Rittenhouse Square! Super friendly staff, especially the cleaning staff. Some of the most friendly and helpful people! Coming back again for another long stay in 1 month!

Long Term Winter Stay

The room was lovely (minus the hair I found in the shower). The hotel was modern and pretty clean. Staff was great. And the hotel is close to everything. Valet parking was a breeze. I would stay here again. 

Perfect Location

Well located, clean, nice room, friendly, helpful staff. Visit Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Betsy Ross home.  Try Pat's Steaks, great cheese steaks, also Old Bookbinders restaurant. Parking in area is expensive though.

Excellent Hotel

We had a meet up with friends.  The hotel was centrally located, clean and everything was pretty much with in walking distance.  Although we didn't use the breakfast the hotel bar was great and the service was superb.

Good Location  everything is walkable

Good location with numerous good restaurants nearby.  The check-in was very smooth due to the staff being engaged, friendly and efficient.  The room was clean, big and the bed was comfortable.  Stunned in the sense that the room seemed to be sound proofed.  Never heard a sound from any of the surrounding rooms or from other guests in the hallway.  Very nice stay and would return.  Also, the young man who checked our bags was great.  Good guy.

Hyatt Centric

We stayed to enjoy the flower show at the Convention Center. Our room was quiet and clean but what made our stay memorable was the front receptionist.  She made a pleasant stay, memorable with her kindness and caring and overall help.

Clean and Well Appointed Room With Great Front Desk Support

Great location, good room, good bed and bath.  I would totally recommend it for business or just visiting the city.  I found the rooms facing south on the higher floors had amazing views.  I really loved how opened the room space with the big giant windows felt.

Great stay

The hotel was clean and has nice decor. The room was updated and very nice. It was surprising how quiet it was overnight to sleep considering location. The views are not wonderful but this is a consequence of location. The parking was full when we arrived and had to park several blocks away. The staff were all very nice. 

Very Nice Accommodation

Excellent stay in a wonderful location.  Fantastic service, well-appointed room and fabulous breakfast at the new Patchwork restaurant on site.  Explorist benefit provided 2pm checkout which was appreciated!

Save money on Valet parking ($65) and use the SpotHero app instead. 

Location, location, location. Great location in a nice area of Center City with plenty of dining and shopping choices close by in walking distance. Room was clean and everything operable. Rooms nicely decorated and modern. 
Used the hotel restaurant for one breakfast during our stay. Very pricey for what I would consider mediocre. Would not do that again.
Be prepared that Hyatt currently does not have daily housekeeping at this property. Housekeeping is performed after three nights.
Overall I would definitely recommend this property and will be coming back.

Great Hotel

Everything felt new, everything was clean. Service was friendly. Superb location! On a small side street, so nice and quiet. It was nice to have a fridge. But the WC has no door!! There’s only one robe in the room. Not enough USB plugs. The motion sensor lights on the sides of the beds are annoying. 

Good all-around

I usually don’t give many five star ratings but I had a great experience at this hotel. Great location, clean, modern and friendly staff. I will definitely come back when the weather gets warmer to explore more of the city.

Great hotel in Central Philadelphia

Beautiful hotel centrally located in downtown Philadelphia.  Recently tastefully and fully remodeled with quality finishes and furnishings.  Great views of the city from the floor to ceiling windows. Beds and pillows were so comfy.  Shower hot and great pressure.  Everything new! The staff was also helpful.  Vetri pizza right across the street was very good and nice people!  

Perfect!

The hotel was located close to everything near Rittenhouse Square in Philly. However, $65 a night to park is outrageous when you are staying at the hotel. In addition they are woefully understaffed. We had to wait for express check-in due to the fact there was only one person working the front desk. And many people checking in at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. Also the next morning we waited 15 minutes for a single cup of to go coffee due to the fact, only one person was working the bar and restaurant area. We decided not to eat in the restaurant but to go outside and find a restaurant to have breakfast because we knew it would take close to two hours to try and order something simple for breakfast at the hotel.

Understaffed and parking overpriced.

Very nice hotel.  Excellent check in process.  You can use your phone as the room key and don’t need to go to the check in counter.  The property is in a great location near Rittenhouse square and walking distance from dozens of restaurants and bars.  Also convenient to Septa.

Nice hotel with a great location

We were in town visiting our son at Penn. While not close to the school, it is a great location near Rittenhouse Square with many great restaurants. It opened in 2020 so everything - room, bathroom, lobby - are more modern and in great shape.

Newer hotel/great location

Best decorated and thought out room and hotel I've stayed at in years! The separated bathroom sections are a great arrangement.  Sensor floor lighting on the bottom of the bed were clever and worked well.  Shaker peg clothes hangers - perfect.  Night light in bathroom!

Great room decor and layout

Great experience. I was there for a trial that lasted over a week and it fit everyone's needs perfectly on the entire trial team. My room was quiet and clean and had everything I needed to do my job. The conference room setup was perfect and we were able to order food in from the bar and go to the pantry for beverages at any time of day. It met our needs across the board. 

Clean, simple, lovely showers.

We chose this hotel for the location, reviews, and past experience with Hyatt. We don't regret it at all. The room was comfortable, silent at night, and near everything. We had a great time and will be back

Great location

Great location in Center City close to all the action downtown Philly. Only 8 minute Lyft ride to Univ Penn. Took the trolly from campus back to Hyatt just for fun. Can’t wait to go back to City of Brotherly Love. Go Eagles!

My room was very clean. The decor was cute and modern looking. The restaurant/bar was amazing. I had some delicious lobster Mac. It had a little kick to it that I personally liked! I highly suggest staying here.

Best Hotel in Philly

Top to bottom great hotel.  The rooms are very modern/updated and the layout made the room feel much bigger than it probably was.  I loved the toilet room that was separate from the shower/sink.  Even though I was traveling solo, it still was appealing because hotel bathrooms often seem quite small and cramped.  The bed was exceptionally soft and comfortable.  Check-in was very fast - as was check-out.  Start to finish - awesome.

Awesome hotel

Great staff. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The only issue I have is that the rooms are very dark early in the morning or during late evening even with all the lights turned on. It would be great if they could add additional light fixtures or just have brighter bulbs.

The staff and the hotel itself was more than amazing. I was greeted with smile and everyone was inviting. Patchwork was a great experience . I can not wait to return for my next trip.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER

Two separate women at the front desk were courteous and helped me out in a way that exceeded my expectations. They were friendly and helped me have a better stay than I otherwise would have. Great customer service! 

Front desk staff very courteous

This hotel is located in a great location, walking distance from many of the sites to visit in Philadelphia. Service was excellent and rooms clean. The only negative part of the stay was the street noise that could be heard throughout the night and early morning.

Great stay in downtown Philly

Lovely, clean, and well-appointed hotel rooms. It is in a great location close to all our favourite places in the city. Next time we’d like to try out the hotel restaurant. The menu looks great. Will definitely book anotherr stay here!

Beautiful hotel very pleased with service and room. Very clean and great location. Staff was friendly and helpful with any questions I had. I stayed during a busy weekend for NYE and it was very organized 

Great city stay

We are loyal Hyatt members and expected this hotel to be in-line with it's branding.  The first thing we noticed is the entrance is on he side street and it looks like the main entrance is still not operational which is on the corner.  Very contempory rooms with barn doors for bath and closet.  Decor to match this style. Pretty small room too. The bathtub has a log entry level but the shower curtain is hung at the normal height and just didn't keep the water from draining off the curtain and onto the floor. Terrible oversight. Need to keep the sidewalks clean and tidy while hundreds of guest needed to traverse the obstacles in the way. 

Decent hotel not yet completed

Unexpected European feel. Friendly staff the room was huge. shout out to the Valet parking for their excellent service. Location is central to everything. Will definitely stay here again when visiting family in Philadelphia.

Wonderful hotel.

I stayed in Philly the weekend before Christmas and had an excellent stay.  This was my third time at this Hyatt Centric location and I’ve decided that this will be my hotel of choice in Philly from here out.

My go to hotel in Philly

Highly recommend Hyatt in Philly. Service check in and stay were great. Service at the front desk anticipated our needs and helped save me from taking an unnecessary trip to get something. My wife forgot well done!
