Hotel is small, clean and reasonably priced (for Miami Beach).  Bar and restaurant service and food quality left a great deal to be desired and I would suggest going to one of the numerous restaurants or other hotels nearby for that.

Stayed in hotel for conference

I have nothing but good compliments about this hotel. The check in and check out process was very easy and hassle free. The staff at the front desk was fantastic, very attentive and answered all my questions. The valet guys were really nice as well. As far as the breakfast experience, our waiter made sure we felt welcomed. Even the cleaning staff was excellent, did a great job. Already recommended this hotel to family and friends, it was my first time staying at South Beach and cant wait to go back next year!

Great place, excellent service and affordable

I’m a Hyatt member so booked this hotel with points, and I’m glad I didn’t spend my money on it. We had issues with the cleanliness of the room, the staff and service. the general vibe of the hotel seems depressing and bare bones compared to many of the other hotels in the area. We had staff members enter our room twice without knocking or announcing themselves. I called to request items from the front desk multiple times that were never delivered. The floors in our room seemed dirty and the lighting in the bathroom was poor. We supposedly received an “upgrade” to an ocean/beach view room, which is impossible because this hotel is across the street from the beach and any views are blocked by the Loews. When I checked out, I had two breakfast charges on our room that we hadn’t charged. The staff also seemed somewhat incompetent and untrained. 
All in all a pretty disappointing experience which is rare for Hyatt. 

Many better hotels in the area

I recommend the Hyatt Centric on South Beach Miami. It must be newly renovated, it's very clean, efficient, and everybody greets you with a genuine smile and interest in your presence.....Everybody! The location is within a block or two to everything you'll need. 

Miami South Beach Hyatt Centric

You can see the Lowes and use their gym and beach while staying at this inferior property. Basic and small pool area.  To get ice you have to visit the front desk. Not the worst hotel and definitely not the best option. Stay at the Lowes or Royal Palm across the street if given an option,

We booked a cruise and wanted to stay in South Beach for our final day. The staff and cleanliness was above and beyond our expectations. Short walk to the beach and we even had access to two chairs and towels on the beach.

Great quick trip to South Beach

I wish I had spent a little bit more money for another hotel, I feel like I would have had a better experience. Because it’s so affordable you have parties in one room and our experience with room cleanliness made us buy cleaning products from the CVS down the street.

Budget Hotel

This hotel has everything! Friendly staff! walking distance to beach, restaurants, shops… it was well priced for the location and very clean. We would definitely stay here next time we come to South Beach FL. 

Great Experience!

We were debating between staying here or at the Confidante in Mid Beach, which is also part of the Hyatt ecosystem. Ultimately we ended up staying here and deeply regretted our decision. 

This property lacks many of the amenities you would expect at a full service property. The outdoor pool is quite small. There's no fitness center, you have to go to the Loews hotel across the street. There's no spa either, you have to get treatment at the Loews hotel. And if you If want to go to the beach? You guessed it, you have to go to Loews hotel. Why not just stay at the Loews at this point? They have a much better hotel bar, pool, and lively atmosphere from what I could gather. 

The restaurant and bar at this hotel, Deck Sixteen, is a shell of an operation. I didn't see anyone, literally ZERO people, staffed here outside of breakfast hours when I wanted to get a drink. Was the front desk agent supposed to run to the bar to make me a cocktail? I'm not convinced that they even make real food on-site anymore. They probably outsourced all their food at this point to an outside restaurant and just bring takeout to the customers. It took over an hour each day for us to receive our breakfast and the food didn't taste very fresh.

Some other problems we had with our stay, rapid-fire mode now:
- They wouldn't allow us to change rooms on the 2nd day of our stay despite being Globalists at Hyatt, the highest loyalty tier. Our neighbors on the 1st night had been extremely noisy. They were screaming at 3-4AM in the middle of the night watching some sporting event and the walls were extremely thin so we could not sleep. The front desk was unwilling to accommodate us us. 
- They didn't give us champagne at check-in when it was offered to all guests before and after us. Not a big deal but why were we excluded?
- We had issues with our room key not working on the last day. The front desk kept trying to reprogram them but it kept failing. Was it an issue with the locks? 
- We were charged for breakfast even though it was supposed to be included. We had to call Hyatt to get it removed after. 

All these issues, with both the hard product and soft product, lead to a disappointing stay. It goes without staying we will be trying a different property on Miami Beach for our future stays. 



Frustrating Experience on South Beach

Comfortable bed, good air conditioning and lot of space in the room. Friendly service, helpful staff. Not many breakfast choices and service could have been faster. Excellent location close to convention center and art deco area. It gets a bit noisy at times during the night.

Only wished they had a mini fridge to keep drinks cold. Due to what I assume the building being older a few of the outlets in my room were faulty or completely not working. Minor inconvenience but would have been beneficial. 

Lovely Overnight Stay

Great location in South Beach near popular restaurants and clubs and easy access to the beach where complimentary towels and deck chairs are provided. Modern spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Food in restaurant was just average so would skip that.

Not value to money for the price they charge . Was over priced but room was below average and my hand shower didn’t work . Room looks was not like Hyatt. Most probably I will need stay there next time 

Not great

Dorian was very welcoming at the Front Desk. But for the clogged shower drain and non replenishment of the Shower and Bath Gel. This was a gem of the hotel in the heart of South Beach. The Room was large enough with a side view of the Ocean. 

Nice Little Hotel with Awesome Service

I reserved the ocean view King for a birthday trip. Upon our arrival there was a $300+ additional fee. Which I wasn’t made aware of until check in. I notified the employees there that this needs to be communicated to the 3rd party sites like Expedia and Priceline. We saw partial views of the ocean and felt distant from the water. We weren’t told the cut off times for meals so we missed out on dinner. Overall it was close to a lot of shops, the pool was nice, a lot of seating areas to enjoy the weather, housekeeping was great, the windows and shower were great items in the room! Overall for the price it was a good stay. 

Great hotel customer service needs some tweaking

Dirty pool mold around the edge by the stairs. Breakfast was good location was excellent. Nice lounge area and great site seeing around hotel and restaurants abundant. Fun place for the family and kids

Where is privacy? Toilets have no doors in the room, just a curtain. Ok if you travel alone. Water from the shower soaks the whole toilet, as the drain is in the middle of the room, not under the shower. Amazong thirld world experience in Miami Beach

The rooms were super clean, staff was super helpful and respectful, two complementary beach chairs were offered by the hotel so you can enjoy the beach and sunshine. Moved to Hyatt from Tradewinds Apartment hotel. I had an intrusion incident at Tradewinds on the first night of my staying. Had to check out earlier because I did not feel safe staying at Tradewinds. So far I did not get appology or compensation. They even refused to refund me for the nights that I did not stay. So go to Hyatt, DONT GO TO Tradewinds!! 

Excellent hotel, recommend to anyone that go to Miami

The location of Hyatt Centric is ideal-close to the beach and its walking/biking paths,  Lincoln Road Mall, the rest of South Beach. The facility itself is manageable in size, not overwhelming, while still providing access to an outstanding health club directly across the street. The staff, under the fine leadership of Cesar Solares Ziu, is responsive and incredibly helpful.

Poor housekeeping, long wait times for breakfast, and had to ask multiple times for toiletries. Good thing is proximity to beaches and restaurants. Also food is overpriced for the quantity they serve.

One late night my wife and I went down for a late hunger fix and the chef who prepared our food was amazing. The food was fresh and very tasteful

Vacation stay

We enjoyed this Hyatt location right on Collins and close to everything! Parking garage is directly across the street, beach access 2min away, breakfast was phenomenal & fast, hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We are preparing for another trip over the summer and will definitely book again! Oh - Hotel rooms were super clean, great water pressure with awesome hot water!!!!

Great Hotel & Location!

The hotel itself is modern and comfortable. However, it’s the staff and their lack of organization that make this hotel an uncomfortable stay. I’m a frequent traveler both for business and pleasure, and this was one of the most bizarre experiences I’ve ever had. I only stayed three nights, and every single day there was an issue. Every staff member we encountered was rude, unprovoked. I was staying here for work, and they made the stay even more stressful. Some specific examples other than general rude tone and arrogance every time I encountered a staff member: I asked about lunch offers one day, there were none and they were extremely arrogant when explaining that. Secondly, there was an entire day where housekeeping did not show up to clean the room. I was out all day and they still didn’t come. When I called the front desk, they told me housekeeping marked my room as “do not disturb”. I can assure you, my room did not have the do not disturb sign on during housekeeping hours. They told me when I called that they would send housekeeping up. 2 hours later at 7pm, still no housekeeping. They never came. We changed the garbage cans ourselves, and replaced the towels when someone came to bring fresh ones finally. The front desk offered a $30 food credit for the hassle, and of course, the next day there was no record of it. When explaining the $30 food credit to the front desk, once again, an entirely new staff member spoke back to me as if it was my fault and a huge inconvenience that I received a credit for THEIR mistake. I never raised my voice, but the staff continued to make me feel uncomfortable with how they spoke to me.

There are so many other hotels in this area that are similar in price and I have no doubt that they would be a better stay. I’m not even looking for a hotel to go above and beyond, but basic kindness from a hotel isn’t asking for much. From the moment I walked in here, they were the complete opposite of welcoming and made me feel like a major inconvenience. 

Modern Hotel, Horrible Attitude Amongst Staff

Overall a good experience. The biggest advantage of this hotel is the location on south beach. You are a 10-20 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, espaniola way, etc. We rented a car and didn’t need it. You have the option to valet park with the hotel ($40/day) which includes in and out privileges or park literally across the street in a garage for a flat $20/day on the weekend with no such privileges. The staff at the front desk were very receptive. You get a towel and beach chair for free as a hotel guest. The umbrellas range from $30-300 (canopy). These beach perks don’t start until 9:30 AM however and you usually have to wait in line to get them. This would have been nice to know when we got to beach early. The hotel is not beach side but it is close. The rooms are small though and could probably use more light. We didn’t have much of a view either as our window overlooked the wall of the neighboring building. 

Weekend Getaway

I was shocked when i pulled the curtain and saw a parking garage! Then I saw in the far distance a sliver of blue.....that must be a sliver of ocean.....I cannot believe it....they were charging me more for this. And there was no way my husband could make the walk all that way to the beach....it was so far away.

This hotel is located at the center of all, shops, restaurants, bar, spa, bike path, Beach,..  I also like that they have a Bike we can use. The hotel also offers a lounge chair at the beach.  The hotel is also conveniently located above Joe's & the Juice, which was our favorite for breakfast.  We stayed at one-bedroom suite which is quite spacious and clean. The reception staff are quite professional and friendly, and the check-in is quick and easy. Overall, a nice yet affordable hotel in the south beach Miami.

Great location

We enjoyed a fantastic three nights at this Hyatt property. The location was perfect, and we used the bikes two days of our stay and loved the biking trails.  We had many good meals (and cocktails) within a short walk of the hotel and had no trouble catching an Uber back to the airport when we left for the rest of our trip to Ecuador.  We give this property five stars all the way!

We love Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami

Check in process was disjointed and my room was not ready to be occupied when I arrived. Room was small and furniture was worn and dated. Fitness Center was included in the amenities on the web page but needed to walk a block outside to get to an affiliated facility that had limited weekend hours.

Rooms and building dated; not worth the high price

Contains no closet; there's a small armoir-type thing that literally allows for 3 items to be hung. There's also only 2 very small drawers. No desk, no full length mirror.. there's a tiny sliding-sort of mechanism where the ironing board is located that is extremely difficult to access (because, again, there is literally no closet). I had to lay out several pieces of clothing on my bed versus hanging them because there was simply no room.

Not Conducive for Business

We had a free night to use and decided to stay here.  What a great choice.  Phenomenal location, super friendly and helpful staff and solid Globalist breakfast in the morning.   All was great and we would definitely stay here in the future. 

Great staycation with my wife

Everything is new. Right in the heart of everything. I stay here every time I go to South Beach. All of the other hotels are dated. Ming, the valet manager is great. Nice hotel lobby and bar. Great staff all around 

I love this hotel.

Hospitality and rooms were Better than expected. The room was super comfortable just wish i would have been on a higher floor with a better view. But because I wasn’t in the room that much it wasn’t a big deal. Location was convenient as well.

Pleasantly Surprised

Nice location in South Beach, a friendly staff, a clean room. and  "fair" room rates. The amenities and food menu is 'limited", but one night is fine. The Hyatt Centric needs better outside and lobby signage to find the reception floor.

The hotel is well situated in South Beach.  The Staff is very helpful and welcoming.  the surrounding area has great restaurants, coffee shops and beach access directly in front of the hotel.  Short ride to Wynwood, Mid town, shopping areas and attractions.   

Great Location and Stay on South Beach

Felt like a Motel 6. While staff were accommodating and efficient, the rooms were small, towels like sandpaper, lighting in bathroom was very poor for makeup application and shaving. Also limited storage for clothing.

South beach Wedding

Great job accommodating my family at the last minute as the other hotel I booked at was not up to standards. Gustavo and Damien were excellent. The only issue I had was when I requested fresh linen for the room and the they seemed to have let my request slip through the cracks and I had to follow up a few different times in order to receive my sheets. 

Best hotel in south beach

Our  Personal Pre-vacation before boarding the Carnival Cruise for our amazing Bahamas Vacation. We decided to enjoy South Beach Miami for a couple of days before the cruise. The best decision to stay with The at Hyatt Centric We were treated with royal service had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back in Miami and will stay with Hyatt centric to see our friends Cesar Damien,  and joaquis!

Celebrating Life!!!

City view room gave view of back of next door hotel. Staff had to be asked for water for the room. No tea bags or milk provided in room. Toilet paper was not restocked and dink and floors were not done daily as advised by staff. Cleaner lacked attention to detail. Restaurant and reception in the same location which is not nice when you want to relax to eat. Spa and gum are in another hotel across the road.

Birthday celebration

As cited in the title, the location  (once you find it--because the signage is quite poor and the entrance is on a side street) is the best part of this Hyatt. It is an average hotel with average amenities....... but above-average prices.  Basic shampoo, condtioner, bath gel and mini soap bars--plastic cups in the bathroom. (and no replacement for Day 2 and 3 that we were staying). No bell hops are available and one must enter on the first floor --and the check-in is on the third floor. We were charged a resort fee for use of the beach, pool and bicycles---in spite of the fact that it was raining during our stay! Rooms are basic and closets are tiny. Only one drawer for clothing is provided. Walls are paper thin and we were ale to hear our neighbors. For proximity to Lincoln Road, it's fine. But, it's clearly not a hotel you wish to spend any more time than necessary.  One excellent Front Desk individual saved the day. 

Location. Location. Location.

Property is in a great location with nice rooms.  Breakfast was very nominal options- no rooms were available until close to 3, valet took almost 40 minutes each of the three times we needed to park or retrieve car.

Doorman was highlight of trip as he was funny and did his best to entertain guests as they waited for valet. 

Don’t Valet

We have stayed at this property numerous times and we have always had a wonderful experience. We love that the hotel is smaller and not as busy/noisy as others nearby. The location is perfect for all South Beach has to offer.

Prime South Beach Miami Location

It's a good hotel The staff is very friendly and helpful. Ceaser and Jake at the front office. Ming the concierge are some people I would like to personally thank for making my trip a memorable one. The hote is good for relaxations but froma  business prespective it provides less comforts. Lack of a laundry and inroom dinning are few of the reasons. 


Great hotel for a holiday

The hotel facilities do not meet normal Hyatt standards, but the staff was excellent and made the stay enjoyable. Better signage is needed to identify where the hotel entrance is. Regular rooms are very small. Food was good!

My recent stay

The hotel is a trendy style millennial like hotel product that provides easy access to many of the bars and restaurants in the area, as well as being near the beach and core of the Art Deco area of South Beach. The pool is small, but there is one if you want to take a post beach dip or whatnot. There are very very little in the way of food and beverage options, but they exist for some parts of the day if you want a drink. Most likely a post pandemic effect on labor shortage and hotel operational MO. 

The beach access is fairly easy, across the street, and talk to the people handling the Lowes beach product for chairs and towels, but no umbrellas included, so be prepared to pay for that.

I think that someone not looking for an extensive hotel experience will find this product to be adequate and clean and nice and convenient. If you want pampering this isn't for you. 

Good location to walk and experience South Beach

Super great location staff was amazing clean boutique style hotel love the bicycles take it vantage lots of places to go and see everything is pretty much also within walking distance! The whole entire staff was absolutely amazing Bellman bartender front desk housekeeper five star rating on customer service! 

South beach great smaller hotel!

The Hyatt Centric was the perfect place for my solo trip. I felt safe and was in the heart of everything. Great location and having bike and beach towel/chair access through Lowe's Hotel was great!  Will definitely stay here again. 

Solo Trip

Hotel is what you would expect from the chain - cleanliness, comfortable rooms, usual amenities - but the staff are among the best you'll encounter.  They were attentive to my needs and provided tremendous help when I left my phone in a taxi.  After much effort on their part my phone was returned to me.

I booked the Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami to spend a few special nights with my girlfriend before both of us embarked on trips for work and personal commitments. I was very happy with the location, the views of Miami Beach, how conveniently located it was from pretty much anything I could think of.
The rooms where clean and they were soundproof.  

Amazing hotel in an amazing city!

This is a beautiful hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent service and amenities. They partner with the resort across the street and two lounge chairs and towels are included right on the beach

Wonderful Labor Day Get-Away

The staff were very helpful with my booking amendments and overall service was truly exceptional! I recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to be a short walk away from the beach. The location also was quiet enough for deep rest when one needed to. 

Exceptional service!

I have stayed at numerous hotel's and have NEVER had this great of an experience down to the T at a hotel before. The minute I walked in staff greeted me downstairs answered ALL my questions. Everyday staff was friendly and helpful. No matter what time it was 3 or 4 or 5am someone was at the front desk, ready to take my keys for valet. Everyone gave recommendations on places to go and food options. My room was cleaned everyday, spotless. Never worried at all about leaving valuables or money out, the cleaning ladies were very detailed in cleaning the room even arranging or shoes on the floor and leaving clothing tags right where they were left LOL. Room's are very spacious and Hotel was a great location! 

Wonderful

This is an excellent property that offered cleanliness and daily cleaning services. The property is in close proximity of Ocean Drive, the beach, and other highly frequented areas in South Beach. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The check-in process was very quick and smooth.  I highly recommend this property.

Quick trip

Access to Miami Beach amenities and places. It has a good impression but entrance not on an ideal locale if you pull in with a car. The rooms were great  and comfortable but they could use more towels for sure especially for us trveling with family. 

Convinient hotel but price higher for value

We truly were pleased with the staff and the hotel. Rae and France were amazing as were the bartenders..so accommodating. 5 min walk to the beach and the pool was always quiet. Relaxed in the cabanas all day. My partner was in heaven with the fact that their were no kids and it felt private, unlike the bigger hotels. It was usually just us or maybe one more couple at the pool area. And this was 4th if July weekend! 

Amazing stay at the Hyatt SB

This is not a luxurious or resort style hotel but it is clean, modern and has everything you need. They have a bar in the lobby and only serve breakfast at this time. There are many lunch and dinner options within walking distance. They have an arrangement with the beachfront Loews hotel to be able to use their gym, pool and beach lounge chairs which is so awesome! May I add the front desk staff were awesome! Super accommodating and welcoming.  

Great location and everything you need for quick business trip

The Hyatt Centric will fit your needs for an efficient MB stay. The staff was excellent (professional, friendly and at your service to assist). However, be ready as rooms are smallish, but efficiently appointed with almost all of your needs. The rooms need a bit more lighting in my opinion and there is no place to hang wet swim attire. I was looking for a retractable clothes line at a minimum. Instead I had to hang wet drippy swimwear on a hanger in the bathroom. In all fairness, I had the same dilemma at a higher price point competitor. The bathroom shower was a plus (with Hahnsgroe Fixutures). The hotel is not on the beach and you must take a short walk across the street for beach access. Hyatt Centric Partners with the Lowes Hotel for beach chairs and towels. I did feel a bit like a second class citizen having to go the the ‘special’ low rent beach Kiosk for my chair and towels (lol). Also be prepared to shell out a few coins for a beach umbrella. Although you will get towels and a chair you will cook like a hot dog without the umbrella. 

The hotels pool area is nice and serviceable, but don’t expect the same MB pool scene of a higher price point Luxe Hotel. all in all I would revisit as I am a Hyatt hotel loyalist. Oh yeah I did forget that hotel is in a good location with walking ease to shops and food! 

Solid Hotel

Maybe if you are there for vacation this is passable.  As a business visit I would never stay here again.  Barely any services.  Would not reccomend to anyone traveling for work who needs basic things like housekeeping, room service , working elevators and being able to access the hotel at night rather than waiting on the street for someone to answer the doorbell.  No thanks 

Extremely poor

stranded in MIA with 2 young kids because of the storm, the manager Frantz made sure our arrival would be as smooth as possible.

great hotel, great location, greater manager !!!

We had a very nice stay at this hotel! The concierge was amazing helping us with different things. He is always smiling and ready to help the customers. Awesome service! The only point that can be imprived is that the room was clean around 5-6 pm when we came back from the beach and want to take a shower so maybe we should have asked for an earlier clean up. But overall everything was perfect!

Perfect hotel!

Get the corner room with the wrap around view. You will thank me! France at the front desk was amazing. The hotel is in pretty good condition and the location cant be beat. One block away from the beach and close to restaurants and bars. We walked most places and even took the hotels bikes for a ride. 10/10

The Best Customer Service

Very nice and fresh hotel located in the best area of Miami Beach. Plenty of amenities including pool, spa, beach access across the street, bikes, breakfast and full bar. A lot of nice restaurants at walking distance. 
 

Great modern, and welcoming hotel in the best location.

Room was very very small, outside access is very difficult, no parking space for check in and unload the luggages, lobby is on the 3rd floor. Poor commun area, poor breakfast ( only grappe jam, only orange juice, no hot chocolat, only natural yogurt ( no other choice) , the waitress seemed annoyed at each of my requests.  how can you have a hotel of this quality and only offer one choice?  not even a simple apple juice... a hot chocolate... it doesn't seem that complicated to me...       
The photos on the website do not reflect the reality of the building. Pictures looks beautiful, rooms looks larges, areas looks easy, access but nope…
I paid an invoice of$974.34 for 1 night, this is the worth decision I never took. I loved Hyatt hotels, I was never disappointed.  I am an Explorist member, I am very very sad to say I don’t know if I will continue to trust the Hyatt quality in the future.

Very very disappointed

This hotel is overdue for an update.  Not what I usually expect from Hyatt.  The furnishings are dated and showing wear.  The staff was OK, but the check in was a bit awkward.  There was obviously an issue they did not want to reveal.  As it turned out, their concern was whether or not the room had been cleaned.  It would have been nice if they just said that instead of acting cagey.  My wife and I were afraid they lost the reservation.

Great location, staff, and rooms! We had a wonderful trip hosting a company event and had a few days to ourselves to explore the area. The team went above and beyond our expectations to satisfy our needs. Thank you!

Amazing experience

Best customer service ever!  Every request I made- was met! Manager is very hands on and always asked how things were going and if there was anything that I needed. I can’t wait to stay again in August..

Amazing Service

This will probably be the best review I've created yet. Firstly, when I arrived in Miami, my first hotel experience was not the best. I booked at a different hotel, and unfortunately left immediately after arriving.  As soon as I arrived on the property, I was completely taken aback by the attentiveness, politeness, and accommodating atmosphere. From hearing me out regarding my previous experience, carrying my luggage into the hotel for me, and my two friends, making sure we were greeted with drinks, and almost everything else under the sun. Damien, Ming, and Frances, are TOP TIER STAFF and made sure we got the all star treatment. Hotel staff, helped us with room check in, constant towels, offering us frequent beverages , concierging our luggage for us. When I tell you, I have never had such an amazing experience, I am not lying.  The hotel was super clean, the pool is enjoyable, view is great. This hotel deserves more then just a 5 star. I came to Miami for my birthday, and because of the entire staff at Hyatt Downtown Miami, my birthday was a blast.  I will recommend this hotel to anyone and I will be back visiting soon! Thank you so much. 

The best hotel

Rooms are small, dingy and toilets are not clean. The noise form the road can be heard in the room all night. No sense of service, the breakfast is best avoided. Nothing good about this. Avoid avoid avoid.....its a money waster

Terrible in every way

Pleased with the excellent location of the hotel and its amenities, condition, and cleanliness. Room on 14th floor of 15 floors that are hotel rooms (upper floors are residential condos) was excellent overlooking the intercoastal. The rain shower and light dimmer in bathroom were nice features. Only complaint is that front desk clerks seemed disengaged and did not provide any assistance in breaking a $100 bill in order to tip the valet. Very surprised with remark "we don't have change" , especially when the hotel was reportedly booked

Enjoyable Stay

This place fully met our expectations; we’ll definitely stay here again.I truly appreciated the renovation work done and the modern room design. The walls are so thick we didn’t here a thing from anyone else.

Quality place for a quality price

the staff were very friendly, always inquired if there was anything needed to improve stay.  the room was comfortable, clean, and up to date.  the view wasn't great, but we were there for ease of location.  we very much liked the added security features that were in place for guests only.

special occasion

Location is in the center of it all. Perfectly fine if your standards aren’t too high. The room was clean (until you want housekeeping -it took all day ) and spacious. Beach access, right across the street.  No real restaurant or bar on property, although they do serve food and drinks.There is a small pool area, but why bother when you can go to the beach. Fingers crossed you don’t have loud neighbors  Certainly not in my top 20 hotels on Miami Beach. 

Very average

The hotel was clean and the staff was great. The hotel is close to everything. Everyone greeted us with a smile.. my boyfriend and I wanted to warm up some food, we asked for a microwave and one was brought to our room within a few minutes. That made us really happy.

Great hospitality

Find another hotel. Overpriced small room with no bathroom privacy. $5 for drip plain coffee. Outrageous’resort’ fee when they are not even Oceanside. Valet if $40 a night. Garage parking $20 a day. They nickel and dime you for everything! Find another place to stay.

Overslept my check-in time by a slight bit due to not feeling well, only to find a someone at Hyatt standing over my bed making demands and completely didn't afford me any privacy. I've been a Marriott Platinum and Hilton Diamond member staying hundreds of nights per year for the past 10 years and never once in my life have I had my privacy violated in such a way, even if you've exceeded the stated check-in time. Grossley inappropriate.

Creepy Colleague at this Hyatt

Convenient location- so much walkable in the area. Beach was just steps away across the street. Hotel had chairs, towels & service there for us through the Loewes. Staff was friendly. Check in and out were quick and seamless. Would definitely return!

Great stay!

I stayed at the Hyatt hotel in Miami for my birthday. It was a last minute reservation and it was a great choice. Room service to keep my room clean and the price was worth the value. The location is great for Miami on Collins Ave. The receptionist checked us into our rooms and give us 10 locations/ restaurants to check out within walking distance from the hotel. This was very helpful. I also received a surprise birthday gift from the hotel which was cool. 

Birthday Trip

This was a solo short Birthday getaway stay. The location is great! Close to the beach and the hotel was decent but I was a little disappointed in the location of my room. There was no privacy as the windows were in direct view of the neighboring hotels pool view. 

So I'd keep looking if I were you. The rooms were okay. The location is fabulous but for $500 a night I think you could find a better find. The front desk wasn't helpful but MING was amazing. He was the bellman and provided exceptional service.

Tons of option at this price point

The service was fantastic and my room was clean I highly recommend staying here. The location is perfect distance to the restaurants and beach. I want to thank the staff for making my stay memorable I will be returning. 

Beyond expectation.

The room is smaller than your typical Hyatt experience, however the prime location and amenities available at this location made it worth it. I loved that the 1st floor isn’t connected to the front lobby but connected to the street level, no awkward walks through the lobby, you can just go straight to your room. The pool was great especially after visiting the beach. Location is near the beach and Lincoln Rd w/ all the shops and restaurants. Overall great experience. Room is cleaned every day of my stay while we were out and about. 

Awesome Stay!

Hotel was clean and modern. We received a hand written letter from the manager it was really a nice touch. Location was great close to the beach and lots of restaurants. We would definitely stay there again. 

Overnight

I attended a conference in Miami in December 2021.  My conference was at a hotel a block away, but I saved hundreds by going to the Hyatt Centric, and the rooms were just as nice!  The hotel was very clean and the personnel were accommodating and pleasant.

Great Room, Great Price

The staff at the hotel really care about their guests. They make it a point to show how much they appreciate your stay with them. My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary at the hotel and they were so accommodating.    

Perfect Stay in Miami Beach Hyatt Centric

good hotel overall..housekeepers don't listen when you say don't no disturb she came in the room anyway and touch thing that didn't belong to her after I just ask for a door tag...Just make sure your items are secured.


Hyatt south beach

This hotel looked amazing on the inside, very modern feel. The only downside would be the pool, but the South Beach location provides quick and easy access to the beach literally across 1 street. Other than the pool, I had a fun stay. Also, the food options are ok, but there are much better options a couple of blocks away for less money too.

Big kudos to Ming.  Many thanks for his politeness and courtesy!  I really appreciate all the help he extended each time I entered and left the hotel.  Your hotel will definitely be on list for my next trip to Miami Beach.

I couldn't ask for anything more. The hotel was very clean and staff was great. I will make this my place to stay every time I am in Miami. It's not directly on the beach but I like that because I didn't have to deal with all the noise and traffic when staying directly on the beach

This was the perfect hotel for my family. Everything was close. We road the bikes to Sunny Isles and back, thanks to the hotel for the loaner’s. Gustavo and Ming are both profession, fun and humorous. The front desk staff gave me lots of great restaurant choices, and housekeeping made sure my room was always clean and smelling fresh! Thank you all so much! And we will be back. 

First family vacation

Clean, modern, well kept. Staff knew my name whenever I was on site. Great location next to Lincoln road, close to the beach. Easy to get in and out. I recommend to anybody who doesn’t want to wander a huge property. Thanks Hyatt

Great Spot

Location and service was superb. Great hotel in a prime spot. Everything was walking distance. The beach access was close and includes beach chairs and towels. Some of the best restaurants were a couple hundred feet away. 

Great service and location.

Rooms were nice.  Staff was friendly and very nice. Short walking distance to the beach and you receive 2 complimentary chairs while on the beach.  Has a pool with cabanas to chill. Also, walking distance to South Beach, Lincoln Street were shopping is and restaurants. 

Love this hotel!

Honestly it felt like a boutique hotel with Hyatt's name slapped on it.   It lacked robust amenities - for the gym and spa you have access to the Loew's hotel next door. The on site pool was rather small and cannot accommodate a lot of people all at once. Rooms were clean, but felt compact and small.  The staff was nice, but you need to approach them with questions and concerns.  Honestly, if you are looking to stay in South Beach, just stay at a hotel with more amenities like the Loew's. 

So/So, Nothing Special

The hotel was very clean everywhere and staff was very attentive and courteous. I love the bicycles and being able to use the fitness center at Loews. Wonderful experience!!!

Very Clean, Amazing Customer Service, Great Perks

We will never stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone. No toilet paper, 2 towels for 4 people, toilet sink leaks into room,  rude personnel, poor service and communication. The list is endless. I would not recommend this place even as a homeless shelter.

Horrible Hotel

Monique & lavender were amazing!!! They need a raise! lol Monique was so accommodating and literally saved our lives the first day by accommodating us for an early check-in. I don’t know what we would have done that first day. Lavender had answers to all of our questions during our 6 day stay & she always was so happy to help! Room & view were BEAUTIFUL. The hotel was so close to everything and one of the only hotels still doing daily housekeeping services at this time due to covid (trust me I researched like crazy)... Will definitely be staying here every single time we visit Miami! 10/10!

The smell of the hotel is cheap, I never get a point in a hyatt were it sell bad, even in Mexico it smell great!

Not a Hyatt, this is a Motel on Disguise

The staff were very friendly upon checking in, helpful.  Absolutely no Bellmen on staff. After dropping my luggage off in my room, naturally I was out and about all day. When I arrived back at my room for the night during the 11pm hour, room had a damp smell and I noticed mold on the ceiling. I slept with a mask on.

This hotel is not what you will expect rooms are smaller then what was advertised and ocean was not ocean view I paid for early check in and the rooms was not ready had to wait 3 hours before we got in the room
