Protecting Our Environment

We are committed to minimizing our impact on the environment and keeping the Hokuriku region alive and energized.

  • Hyatt Centric Kanazawa is LEED New Construction (NC) v2009 certified — LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a green building certification program that recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices.
  • To reduce plastic waste, we provide reusable tin can water bottles in rooms and serve drinking water in pitchers in our event spaces.
  • Hyatt Centric Kanazawa is supporting the reduction of the plastic footprint and is preparing to reduce the usage of specific plastic items. We use PLA (plant-derived plastic) straws and have changed amenity bottles to refillable bottles.   
  • We have lowered the water pressure in the showers to conserve water.
  • Another project that we co-produced with a local manufacturer, Kanamori Alloys, was to collect all of the mineral water aluminum bottles used throughout the hotel and create stylish aluminum plates and cutlery rests with their advanced refinement technology.
  • Hyatt Centric Kanazawa also displays unique art created from discarded materials to welcome our hotel guests.

Baby And Kid Friendly Hotel

We offer the following services to make you safe and comfortable with your family.

Meals

  • Highchairs and children’s tableware are available in the breakfast venue.
  • Children under the age of 12 eat for free at breakfast.
  • We accommodate food allergies. (Our baby food does not contain the seven allergen categories that are required to be labeled, and our infant food contains only some allergen categories.
  • You may bring baby food into our dining facilities.

Bedding

  • Cribs are available during your stay, and children can sleep in the room without extra charge if no extra beds are required.
  • Children's pajamas, bathrobe, toothbrushes, and slippers are provided free of charge.

Diapers

  • Diaper pods are available to borrow during your stay.

Bath

  • Baby baths are available to borrow during your stay.

No Smoking Policy

Kindly note that smoking is prohibited in all areas of Hyatt Centric Kanazawa (including guestrooms, bars, and private dining rooms of all restaurants) excluding designated smoking areas.

Restaurant Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel or change your reservation at FIVE – Grill & Lounge, please contact us during the restaurant's business operation hours. Please note that a cancellation fee will be applicable in the following cases: 

  • Cancellations made up to 2 days before your reservation: 0%  
  • Cancellations made the day before your reservation: 50%.  
  • Cancellations made on the day of your reservation: 100%  
  • No show: 100%

If you have not decided on a course by your reservation time, we will charge the minimum charge for the number of people in your party for the reserved time slot. 

If a course has been decided prior to your cancellation, we will charge the price of the course and any private room charges.  

The cancellation policy does not apply to inevitable reasons like natural disasters.

Food Safety Management System ISO22000: 2018 Certification

Hyatt Centric Kanazawa and Hyatt House Kanazawa have received certification from the International Standardization of Food Safety Management System ISO22000: 2018, in October 2022. 

As a global hotel chain, Hyatt Hotels has been proactively working towards goals to improve food safety and awareness. Hyatt Centric Kanazawa and Hyatt House Kanazawa have both created an in-house team to strengthen Food Safety Management Systems since the opening of the hotels.

The inspection process from manufacturing to distribution is scrutinized and continuously improved and has led to us receiving the certification of ISO22000: 2018, which is applicable to any organization within the food chain, providing greater transparency, and food safety security to our guests. 

At Hyatt Centric Kanazawa and Hyatt House Kanazawa, we are committed to food safety and sustainability, while offering creative and sustainable experiences for our guests.

Disposable Guest Amenities

As part of our ongoing commitment to reducing waste, our hotel provides a limited selection of disposable guest amenities. We kindly suggest packing necessary daily essentials in advance. Should you have any special requests or require additional amenities, please feel free to contact us after check-in.

 

Bottled Water

To reduce the use of single-use plastics, our hotel no longer provides bottled water. Instead, you may easily fill your drinking vessel with drinking water available throughout the hotel.
