I just came back from staying 2 nights in the Hyatt Murano with my family ( wife and 2 kids). We really enjoyed the space and how quiet everything felt in Murano. The airport shuttle made the whole difference during our stay. For the kids it was a very exciting way to reach the property and for the adults it just took the stress away from dealing with the bags.
We found decent dinning options in the island.
I would definitely go back.

Family Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Centric
Murano Venice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Our coffee bar was replenished, towels were folded and bed was made daily. Have no fear if you stay here.  The staff was friendly and helpful. The dining and bar was great as well. Irene was an especially welcoming person. She talked to us in conversation and was helpful when we had questions.

Honeymoon was Amazing

Amazing stay at Hyatt Centric and a fantastic trip. Hotel spotless, lovely room, great location, busy trip but peaceful and relaxing stay. There was so much variety at breakfast and the Bar man was awesome, so kind and friendly and kept the drinks flowing. Would highly recommend and definitely go back 

Amazing hotel, great location

We had an amazing time at the Hyatt Centric Murano.  I had been to Venice over a half dozen times, but never to Murano and the other islands (Burano, Torcello, etc.)  About 6,000 local Murano Venetian residents make this location feel extra special with great restaurants, and one can hear the Venetian language (objectively/academically not a dialect).  The hotel is located 20 minutes from central Venice on the vaporetto water bus, and it is super frequent.  The hotel is located in a former glass warehouse, has character and atmosphere.  The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The hallways are a little dark (intentional design decision), the on-site bars and restaurants are great.  Dev, the bartender is great.  We met a local 90 year old local named Elena who is a regular at the cafe lounge, and she even sang to us since she and her husband used to be gondoliers.  I would definitely go back.  

Excellent Location with Hyper Local Neighborhood Authenticity, & Excellent Staff Service & Atmosphere

Murano is a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Venice.  The Hyatt was a welcome change of pace. It was relaxing to stay here. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of foods and definitely a bargain at 22 euros.  Also, having a bar open at night was enjoyable.  Would come back for sure!

First Rate Hotel Stay

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of February. The Murano location was perfect: not too many people, many great shops and restaurants, and easy access to the main island. We had a beautiful room overlooking the canal and the staff was exceptional! They helped with transportation (getting us a water taxi to the airport at 3:15am for an early flight out), recommendations on restaurants and clubs, and custom drinks in the bar. Our bartender Stan made the evenings a delight. Thank you for a great visit!

Quiet Location with Incredible Staff and Bartenders!

Location: The hotel is right in front of a ferry stop at Murano, very convenient to travel to nearby islands and Venice.
May consider getting the ACTV unlimited ride pass.
There is also a supermarket nearby.

The hotel is very modern, clean and well maintained. The suites are amazing, especially with the front view of the canal. 

Most important of all, it's the helpfulness of the staff that made our 2 night stay an unforgettable and memorable one. Thank you again Francesca for accommodating our request!

Amazing Suites and Staff

It is new, modern yet artistic, and clean hotel in Venice. Despite the location is not in the main island of Venice but the water-transport station is right in front of the hotel. It makes convenient to travel.

New and clean hotel in Venice

We went to Venice during what I believe was the off season to enjoy a small weekend. The duplex room was spacious, but very dirty. My wife noticed pee stains on the bowl, that we ignored the first day as we were very tired and expected it to be cleaned the day after, unfortunately it was not... We also booked the duplex as a 3 person stay just to be provided 1 towel, we requested two more but when they "cleaned" they removed them and replaced it with just 1 towel again.

The heater was broken and did not go below 24C which felt so much hotter in the second floor of the room, which is where you sleep.

The room carpet was very dirty with small and noticeable pieces of rocks all over it, to be polite I didn't address these issues but did request to get my stay shortened and was told that after check-in there is nothing that they can do and I will have to pay for a whole stay; I had to ask her if she can at least give me free breakfast as I was leaving the day after, to which she agreed but only was willing to give one day of breakfast. I left the morning after as I did not want to stay another day in the dirty room.

Dirty Room

We had a lovely stay at the Hyatt, staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The location was ideal for us as a family travelling with 4 kids and elderly relative. There is a water bus stop outside the hotel- and it a short transfer to the airport. We would highly recommend the hotel, location and staff

Fantastic family friendly hotel

The hotel had great facilities and was of a unique design in a former glass factory. Staff were excellent esp the Sommelier Stanislav in the Osteriva restaurant, he provided great suggestions regarding the food and wine - the food was exceptionally well presented and absolutely delicious - try the Meatballs and the Ravioli with scampi, fresh mushrooms, bisque and an authentic Tiramisu.
The reception staff were extremely helpful and always smiled.
The hotel provides a complimentary transfer by private launch to and from the airport which was impressive.
The Murano Museo vaporetto (water bus) is right outside the hotel and provides an efficient and enjoyable journey over to Venice or the other islands. The travel element added to the enjoyment of our stay.
I cannot speak too highly of the hotel itself and the staff - it was a wonderful 4 night stay and will most certainly visit and stay again.

Superb hotel, location and staff

Had a recent 3 night stay and I have to say this is the perfect place to stay if you  are visiting Venice and would also like a little bit of peace and tranquility away from the hustle of the main island. The hotel is perfect in every way.

Lovely staff, clean and beautiful hotel, great location once you have figured out the boats and times into the centre . So you have to plan a little more to schedule your day, but can access everywhere in 20-30 mins! And in the heart of Murano glass making area.

Fantastic as always!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Centric Murano. The island is great and nice to walk around. You can get fast over to Venice and back, the connections are super, just a bit expensive. 
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast really delicious and the hotel very clean. 

Great hotel on Murano Island

Perfect and convenient location - it has a vaporetto station right in front and it is a few minute walk to Mazzega Glass Factory. It even has a 3rd generation glass jewelry shop right beside it, Tomassi.

Book in this hotel and nowhere else

We stayed here recently and the hotel and staff were exceptionally helpful . The hotel was perfect . Thank you for all your help and especially Francesca she went above and beyond for our stay . Thank you we will return . 

Birthday celebration

We had booked pre pandemic so we had to wait 3 years to stay it was wonderful a 5 star hotel in an absolutely fabulous location murano so picturesque and relaxing hotel was a warming modern graceful place to stay

Nice room. Comfy large bed  quiet so slept well.  Water bus over to Venice right outside. Breakfast excellent. Staff pleasant and helpful would stay again and recommend without hesitation. Shuttle from airport in private water taxi was great

Excellent A+++++++

Great modern hotel with easy connections to Venice (the vaparetto stops right outside the hotel and has a frequent service to Venice). It is a great alternative to staying in the main city with the hustle and bustle of crowds. There is a good buffet breakfast to set you up for the day and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Also, the free speedboat connection between the hotel and the airport is something you should try to take advantage of if your flight doesn't land/leave too late in the day. 

Great place to stay away from the hustle of Venice

I went for my boyfriend birthday, the staff were fantastic, I asked for a cake for midnight at the last minute and they provided it right away. I really liked the hotel, it's a pity that at this time of the year it's raining a lot in Murano and the day we arrived was a Friday, we didn't have anywhere to have dinner outside the hotel because everything was closed and, quite honestly, the food wasn't the best. My risotto came raw ( they call it al dente ) but they didn't charge me, so in general they were super attentive. I would go back for sure . 

Wonderful

From the hotel pick up at the airport, check in, the room and the breakfast, I couldn't fault my stay.  All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming; they went above and beyond.  Bed was very comfortable and guaranteed an excellent night's sleep.  Rooms were large and well appointed.  Added bonus was having the water bus stop directly outside the hotel.  Travelling was a breeze!  I've stayed in Venice a number of times but this is by far the best experience that I've ever had.  Looking forward to booking a return visit next year.

Superb Hotel in a Fantastic Location

While this hotel is located in Murano and not Venice proper, it is part of the water taxi system and fairly convenient to get to Venice. On the plus side, it is a modern hotel with all the amenities, which are pretty much non existent in Venice, and the property is very quiet so you can get a great night's sleep. 

Great Option for Venice Hotel

Tucked away from busy Venice and the crowds.  
Modern facilities, friendly and helpful staffs. Clean facility, great restaurant. Definitely Highly recommended.
Will definitely visit again when next in Italy

Excellent hotel

The hotel is perfectly located to enjoy the Venice way of life, away from the center crowded places. 
Our room (Junior Suite) was great, the modern and intimate design of the hotel is very attractive and the whole experience is just perfect. 
After a long visit day, it’s just pure pleasure to take the boat, disembark at Murano Museo Vaporetto stop and be in our room just 2 minutes later.
Although we unfortunately missed the private shuttle service at our arrival from the airport due to a small delay of the plane, it was great to enjoy this service at the end of our stay.

A great place for a first discovery of Venice

We stayed at this hotel for three nights while visiting Venice.  It's a lovely, newer property.  The rooms are spacious and clean.  The included breakfast was varied and delicious.  There is a vaporetto stop right in front of the hotel, making it easy to connect with the main islands of Venice.  It's a lovely hotel!

Lovely stay

We loved our stay at the Hyatt Centric in Murano--the location was more convenient than we expected, especially with the beautiful ferry to the airport on a classic wood-paneled boat, and the interior space of the hotel was relaxing, plush, and very comfortable. It was a place to relax and recharge after hectic times at the Biennale and meeting friends. Usually we've stayed on the main island when coming to Venice, but we will stay at the Hyatt Centric on Murano in times to come!

Beautiful, serene, and surprisingly convenient!

Gorgeous modern hotel in great location near water bus stop. Great coordination with airport transportation. Friendly English speaking staff. One staff member helped us make travel arrangements on the phone with our next destination. Another helped with luggage and water bus arrangements. Friendly breakfast staff and wonderful hot  breakfast overall. Will return. Treated wonderfully as World of Hyatt Globalist members. Thank you!

Excellent location, property and breakfast

On November 6 - 7, 2022, my wife and I stayed at the Hyatt Centric Murano Hotel after completing a cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line. We were met by the hotel's shuttle boat outside the airport (VCE) and taken directly to the hotel dock which is out front of the hotel. As we arrived before check-in, our luggage was stored for us. After taking a walk around Murano, our room was ready and our luggage had already been taken to our room. We found the room to be spacious, clean and comfortable with a very nice bath room having a walk-in shower. The hotel is equipped with two elevators. As our reservation included breakfast, we found the buffet type offerings to be very nice with multiple choices for a beverage. It should be mentioned that a public water taxi stop is immediately out front of the hotel entrance (Museo) for transport to other stops in Venice.

Great hotel

This fabulous Hyatt is on the serene Island of Murano away from the over crowded Venice by a short boat taxi. They have a great restaurant for dinner and breakfast, as well as a lovely cafe on the water. They have a lovely glass collection and glass details throughout the property. The hotels design facilitates privacy and utility. The staff is 1st class and they help you navigate your travels and activities. They even assisted me with the forwarding of some personal effects left in my room. Perhaps my favorite part was being transported from and to Marco Polo Airport by Hyatt's private boat. this courtesy water shuttle made me feel like a jet setter!

The best place to stay while visiting Venice if you want to relax and feel like a VIP!

The hotel is located in Murano but thanks to vaporetto (stop located just outside the hotel) one can easily visit proper Venice at any given time.
The hotel is great. The quality of breakfast--superb. The selection of the food offered--enormous. 

Great location and even greater breakfast

Perfect location on Murano, close to everything.  Very professional and friendly staff, always there to assist and help you. Comfortable and clean rooms. Great breakfast each morning. This hotel is just a wonderful place to stay.

Room location was terrible. A so called King bed was nothing but two beds pushed together. no Air conditioner and night staff solution was a fan. A/C was great in the hall and lobby. should have slept in the hall or lobby couch

Terrible Room

Clean and quiet hotel, very easy access to Venice and Burano since the vaporetto station is right in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, there are very limited dining options on the island. 
Front desk is absolutely fantastic! 

Great family stay

Hyatt Centric‘s chic modern aesthetic brings relaxation at the end of long days of Venice sightseeing. I especially like the friendliness of the staff, the high quality of the food in the restaurant and neighboring café, and the quietness and relaxation of being in Murano. I have stayed there now three times and plan to stay there again next year.

Lovely hotel and nicely updated located directly in front of water bus stop (private and public). Easy to navigate from and provides free water shuttle to and from VCE with advance reservations. 24 hour room service at reasonable rates and tastes good. Will definitely come back if ever in Venice again. 

Lovely property in great location

Waterbusstop right next to the hotel. Qucik transfer to Venice and Burano. Wonderful breakfast in a beautiful room. Situated on the canal. So nice and quiet in the evening and night. Higlyly recommendable. 

Great place to stay in Venice

Gorgeous room, amazing breakfast buffet, warm and friendly staff. Complimentary boat to and from the airport.   Great location.  Great value.  The vaporetto stop to all locations is literally in front of the hotel; buy an ACTV card and go anywhere you like.   

Amazing Hotel

AC did not work in our room. The rooms do not have good air circulation. We could not open the windows because of the misquitos. Service is good, but not consistent. Small service things make a huge difference. We expected more of a Hyatt hotel. 

Very nice hotel but

The hotel staff was very accommodating and willing to answer the MANY questions we had throughout our stay- mainly regarding public water transportation around the islands and where to buy tickets. Everything was clean, the food was great, and the hotel was situated in a great spot. Highly recommend.

Excellent service

We loved that we stayed in Murano as Venice was so very crowded with tourists. We wanted to stay at the Hyatt because they advertised a “gym.” My husband and I are avid gym goers and the “gym” was in a very odd section of the hotel that I would never (as a female) feel safe being there alone. There is one universal piece of equipment and a treadmill and bike but no free weights and all in a dark, small room. There are no other gyms on Murano so we were so bummed.
Restaurant is amazing. Communication skills of front desk should improve greatly. They smile and promise but nothing ever becomes of your requests. Frustrating!

Not as great as we anticipated.

This was the first time I'd stayed at the Hyatt and I have to say I would definitely stay again.  The hotel staff all spoke very good English and were very welcoming and hospitable.  The room was spotless and extremely comfortable.  Good bar and food outside. Would happily recommend.

Great Hotel, good food and friendly staff

I’ve stayed here many times and it’s always consistently wonderful! I highly recommend staying in Murano if you like to stay away from the fray and in a calm and quiet location. It’s very easy to get wherever you want to go from right out front the door of the Hyatt.

Would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again in Murano. Great location with water taxi service right outside. Superb friendly staff from all departments. Ali and Stan in the bars were amazing with their friendly service and details of service.

Superb Hotel

Airport shuttle service, for a start, to avoid the hustle and buzzle after the flight was really appreciated.  Comfy decor and friendly staffs helped to relax after each busy traveling day.  Hotel was nicely located right next to vaporetto station.

A true star hotel

Murano much quieter than Venice, Hotel excellent, we had a duplex room,as had grandchildren ,lovely king-size bed upstairs, 2 sofa beds. Lovely crisp white linen, breakfast buffet good choice.  But the best was the complimentary airport shuttle, kids loved the speed ! Thank you Hyatt...

First class Hotel

A beautifully curated hotel preserving some of the history of the building. Staff responsive. Comfortable beds. A great breakfast selection. Convenient location. 15 minutes to the Marco Polo airport by hotel boat was fabulous.

Would stay again but note the fairy takes time and will be crowded, plan accordingly. Pick up right in front of the hotel, wished we had stayed longer 

Stay here

Murano is ideal to avoid the mess in Venice - it is 15 mins boat trip away (9.5€) and gives the necessary relaxation after walking the streets of Venice. Murano itself has nice streets to roam and visit, hidden bistros and very nice shopping streets for everything in Murano glass.

The rooms are clean and up to date. Breakfast buffet is excellent. They had gluten free options for my family. The location is fine but far from the action, depends what you like. Plenty of glass factories around. Very enjoyable

Very nice hotel

If anything this hotel under sells itself.  The vaporetto terminal & ferry terminal is literally outside the front door so even if you cannot use the offered hotel shuttle to the Hotel, the Alilaguna ferry operates straight out of Marco Polo directly to the hotel entrance.  Staff were great, breakfast excellent and rooms spacious.  Just plan on using the vaporetto which operates 24 hours to Murano daily.

A great Hotel on Murano

Immaculate hotel. The only thing was the gym/spa was closed, which was disappointing. However We walked  7 miles a day I  really didn't need a gym, but a sauna would have been icing on the cake. I would stay here anytime. Murano is a quiet town. We got off boat and direct into the hotel which was super. SO thankful we didnt stay in Venice and carry luggage all over the town..

Superb Hotel Immaculate

Great spot 10 mins on a water bus to the main part of Venice. Very clean and helpful staff. Quieter than staying in Venice but still very easy to get there. Highly recommend. Was there for two days and bought a two day Unlimited pass for the water bus for 35 euro. Worth it!

Beautiful location

This is an outstanding hotel in many dimensions. Next to boat terminals, relatively quiet at night, and clean and comfortable rooms.  The breakfast is full of options. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

An unique experience, on the interesting island! Away from the crazy busy Venice and not far to travel to by boat! Perfect location for a well deserved rest! Superb design! Excellent breakfast! I will stay again here.

Very cool hotel!

Again we had a great stay at the Hyatt Centric in beautiful Murano with easy quick access to Veice. Very helpful, efficient and friendly staff service. Got a nice big room with great view. Breakfast was of a very good quality. Will come back.

Great stay at Hyatt Murano

The beds are very uncomfortable. The place is far from the city and the night life in this island doesn’t exist. After 9pm the place is dead. There are lots of mosquitoes, bees and pigeons around the island 

Hotel beds

Where do I start? From the amazing customer service they provide, very helpful staff, boat from the airport directly to the hotel on arrival and back for departure with a complimentary Prosecco, the rooms were sensational, very modern and clean. I don’t have a bad word to say about it, thank you Hyatt. I will definitely be staying again if I ever decide to visit Venice in the future!

Best Hotel I’ve stayed in!

We enjoyed a really comfortable stay. The bedroom was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding with a friendly and efficient staff and excellent buffet selection. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat outside, and the hotel is ideally placed for the water bus stop for travel to Central Venice and other lagoon islands.

A genuine 5 star hotel in every way. Room was clean, spacious and quiet. Staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. Special thanks to Fabiola, Mateo and Mikel. Breakfast was superb in quality and choices. Hotel is just yards from a ferry port, making trips to mainland Venice very easy, especially at late night with a 24h service. The private boat taxi provided by the hotel for journeys from and to Marco Polo airport was a touch a of class. Definitely recommended.

Excellent hotel service, perfect location, amazing breakfast  food , free airport shuttle was great , I will come back again, daughter loved it, excellent staff, water bus service stop is at the front of the hotel and a local coop is not far off the hotel

Excellent experience

This is a lovely small hotel which offers a great location to visit Venice from. Note that this is not actually in Venice itself but on the island of Murano. However Venice is really easily reached via water taxi which takes about 15 minutes and relatively cheap if you use the public water taxis which are just outside the hotel. 
Make sure you book your complimentary water taxi via the hotel which picks you up from the airport.
Murano is very much like Venice but is significantly quieter. There are places to eat in the evening but they are few and far between. Ask at reception where to eat and they will gladly assist with recommendations along with directions.
Like many Italian cities there are numerous water bottle filling fountains so an easy and cheap way of staying hydrated if you carry a water bottle with you.

Our 30th wedding Anniversary

We travelled for a short 3 night getaway to end an otherwise bustling vacation (in other cities). It was the perfect combination of ideal location and excellent, friendly service which ultimately made it the perfect stay. I can’t express how vastly helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable the front desk team was. The restaurant teams were also amazing and friendly (both the cafe and main restaurant for dinner) Mateao was our server at dinner. He was very accommodating and attentive. 

This was our first time to Murano. We don’t speak English but it was truly no problem - the Hyatt centric front desk team made our adjustment easy and even suggested apps to help us move around. They were informative and efficient in booking transfers and restaurant reservations as needed.

We stayed in the Duplex suite. Which was beautiful and spacious. Rooms are well appointed and contemporarily designed but still give a Venetian feel. The room was equipped with all we could need. The hotel is also beautifully designed to reflect the culture and features glass adornment inherent to Murano.  

TIP - staying in Murano; do not book yourself an early flight out of VCE (before 7am) unless you don’t mind paying extra. The first “alilguana” transfer is at 4:50am so anything before you will need to book and pay for a private water transfer. This usually costs about 130€ per couple 

Overall, wonderful stay enhanced by a great team. We will definitely visit the 

Short getaway… perfect experience

Hyatt Centric was a gem of a property. Loved the complimentary transfer to and from Marco Polo Airport. Staff is excellent, the upgrade to a two level suite was fabulous. Loved the chilled, peaceful atmosphere while close proximity to Venice with all its hustle bustle. The vaporetto station right outside the hotel is super convenient and the restaurants at the hotel first class.

Loved the hotel!

The staff are very helpful, they gave great advice on where to go for local food etc. 

However the breakfast isn’t great and there isn’t a swimming pool at the hotel :(

Our rooms were located on the ground floor and we could hear people in the lobby which was annoying. 

Staying at the Hyatt in Murano was the perfect way to visit Venice, especially during the busy month of August. Murano is much calmer and less crowded than the main island, so it was easy to avoid crowds, but the vaporetto stop is directly in front of the hotel and boats run all night, so it was also easy to go back and forth. Absolutely loved the airport pickup. Hotel employees were all friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

This is the way to visit Venice!

Great and modern hotel. Easy access to Venice via boat in front of hotel. Leaves every 20mins or so (18min by boat) until 11pm ish. 
Room was clean and fine but not too big. Would have loved newer smart tv with options of Netflix etc. but was not there. 
As big Hyatt Centric fans, we would stay at Hyatt Murano again but we have stayed at better Hyatt Centric’s around the world. Recommendable for Venice though.

Amazing staff

We loved our stay at this elegant but modern hotel on quiet Murano island, the centre of the glassmaking industry.  We received a warm welcome, great service and enjoyed one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a long time.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff

Very clean and warm hearted staffs.

But my room had no view and is small. Two staffs gave me different information on the same thing. No swimming pool but does have gym. One mug was not fully cleaned.

Good but not good enough

Wonderfully located, friendly staff and a great restaurant. 
The accommodations were great as well, the rooms and bathrooms were large and well kept. The Décor was excellent. I would highly recommend it to friends and family wanting to visit Venice.

Quiet location away from the crowds and noise of Venice, Great experience at the hotel, comfortable stay with great breakfast menu and service, staff was very welcoming and cooperative, would recommend staying here

Great stay with the family. We spent one night here after a couple of nights staying in Venice. Convenient location and excellent service. The hotel restaurant was amazing as well.Great way to end our trip.

Beautiful Location

This hotel is just perfect - it is so nicely presented and luxurious, without losing the comfortable feel or being pretentious. We stayed in a duplex suite, which had a large & comfy bed upstairs and a pull out bed downstairs. The provision of soap/shampoo etc was also way above normal quality, really lovely stuff. Kettle/fridge/TV/safe/hairdryer/coffee machine - really nothing missing whatsoever. 

If we ever return to Venice, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Being on Murano is so much calmer than Venice, yet very easy to get to/from on the water bus. It was lovely to retreat to the island after a busy & hot day in Venice.

Murano itself is small and you can easily walk wherever you need to go. There's not much to do outside of glass making/shopping, and lots of places close when the late afternoon buses return to Venice. But this was part of the appeal for us, for some down time and good food in busy but not overcrowded restaurants.

To get to the hotel from the airport is also made easy because the hotel offer a free shuttle service. I made a mistake booking the shuttle for the wrong day, and despite being full the hotel and the driver couldn't do enough to get us on the boat and to the hotel. We really felt like we arrived in style on this little boat!

Amazing hotel

It was a very pleasurable experience on a quiet side of Venice. The hotel is big yet not with that chain feeling which is nice. Stylish breakfast room, well-appointed guestrooms. Maybe a smart TV would be nice to enjoy Netflix etc from your own device.

MURANO the best of Venice

It’s a short vaporetto ride away from the crowds of Venice; but the relaxed and charming atmosphere of neighboring Murano is worth more than a visit to the world famous glass factories, it’s also worth a stay to unwind. 

Venice apart-in nearby Murano

Beautiful building sand excellent room.  The shuttle service is a must and should be extended as before (we’ve been in a anterior version of the hotel) . It was really easy to go to Venice with the shuttle schedule provided by the hotel. One other thing to consider: there is no place to stay outside than the restaurant and bar facilities. In a extremely hot summer and it was hard to find a place to stay outside the air conditioner . The hotel should provide other places to stay outside without the need to consume something. 

Great Hotel

The Hyatt Centric Murano is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Venice. Venice is magical, but it is also very crowded and can be overwhelming. This Hyatt is on the island of Murano, which is a quick vaporetto or water taxi ride away from Venice in the Venetian Lagoon. Murano is charming and beautiful, with canals just like venice, but it is very quiet, uncrowded even in the high season, and peaceful. The hotel itself is gorgeous, clean, and modern. The staff is beyond kind and helpful. And the food options at the hotel are fantastic. I can’t recommend it more, for a place to stay when visiting vVenice, especially if you are traveling as a family with children (the family rooms are fantastic and spacious). 

Beautiful Murano Hotel

I recommend this beautiful hotel for your next stay in Murano. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating, and the cafe staff made a great trip even more exceptional. The decor and breakfast selection exceeded my expectations! 

Excellent Staff! Great Location!

If you have an extended stay or don't want to be in the crazy bustle, this is a great stay for you. The property is steps from the water taxi, the room large, and the decor moody and fun and local. Good food and people. Would definitely stay again.

A bit off the path but a nice stay

This Hyatt was so lovely! It is in a great location and has beautiful features. The breakfast location and breakfast were wonderful. The room was nice, comfortable, and quiet. The outdoor lounge/patio and bar were great. The proximity of the hotel to the airport and transportation to it are other appealing factors of this hotel as well. Would absolutely recommend this hotel and stay here again!

Hyatt Centric Venice

It was wonderful staying in Murano as opposed to Venice. There were great restaurants and glass shopping. It was quiet and not as crowded as Venice and easy to take a water taxi to get to the touristy sites in Venice.The Hyatt is in a great location and had a water taxi to and from the airport, which was very convenient. Highly recommend!

Secret surprise

Nice hotel on the beautiful island of Murano.  Room was great and so was the service. Quaint and nice to walk around Murano.  My son had a wonderful breakfast at the hotel.  Great cafes to get cappuccinos and pastries. Want to come back again.

Venice hotel

We enjoyed the experience with the Hyatt in Murano , hotel was well maintained and room was spotless, happy and helpful staff . As a returning visitor to Venice I found the location exceptional and enjoyed the location in Murano above previous trips to Venice  , it’s quieter and cleaner and a short trip to the main Center by Vaparetto . Only negative which needs improvement  was based on  limited room service hours and selection , and the Spa was closed , presume this is still an effect of covid . 

Great experience

I waited a few weeks before writing this review so that I could base it on the hotel itself and not my experience upon arrival to Venice, which was awful. 

The hotel is very nice; rooms were spacious; location was great (but keep in mind you are on Murano Island not Venice).  I would definitely stay here again now that I know what I know.  Here is some advice to others (knowing this in advance will improve your experience by having the correct expectations and knowledge).

1) Murano is a smaller, quieter island.  It takes 45 minutes to take boat from Hyatt to San Marco! This boat is equivalent to a public bus transportation.  Lots of people and lots of stops. 
2) The Hyatt DOES NOT have a shuttle to/from Venice. They only have a shuttle to/from Venice airport and only during certain hours, which did not work for us so we had to pay a small fortune for a private shuttle. For some reason, when I booked this hotel, I thought they had a frequent shuttles to/from Venice kind of like the Disney shuttles from Polynesian resort to Magic Kingdom.  Was I wrong!
3)  Public transportation bus #3 goes from Venice Santa Lucia train station to Murano; however, it is then a 0.6 mile walk to the Hyatt hotel! After being tired from the train ride, and then pulling our suitcases through cobblestone sidewalks in the hot sun, it was not a pleasant first impression of Murano and staying at the Hyatt.

What could the Hyatt do better?  Explain the transportation better on their website and offer advice (which I will do below).  They should also have/offer porters at the Murano #3 water taxi station to bring people's luggage to hotel.

Advice on going to Venice and staying in Murano:
1) Water transportation is a lot slower than road transportation.  Since there is only water transportation, best to arrive and depart Venice airport or train station in mid-day and not too early in the morning or very late in the evening when public transportation is limited, and you would have to buy a private taxi which is expensive. 
2) Buy a multi-day pass water taxi pass immediately upon arrival! We did not know about this and the ticket people at the train station did not advise us about this either and they sold us just a single use ticket.
3) You do not need to take the water bus to/from San Marco all the time.  There are drop offs that are much closer to Murano with a short walk to some of Venice's sites, like Rialto bridge.

Knowing what I know now, I would definitely stay in Murano again.

Very nice hotel but get advice from my review below first

We absolutely loved our stay on Murano. The hotel staff was supremely polite even starting at our water transfer included with the stay. Our flight from Paris was an hour late so I alerted the hotel and they promptly scheduled us on the later transfer. When we arrived they walked us through how to reach the main attractions in Venice proper. We were beyond relieved we chose this place to stay because the main part of Venice is supremely crowded with tourists. Compared to the quiet slow pace of Murano and the country feel of the island was so relieving. Also it should be mentioned that the room is us style so it’s large with a wonderful shower. The island is very close to Venice. Some people have mentioned long commutes but we only ever waited 20mins and the water taxis run 24 hours. One trip from Venice to Murano was only 10min.

Best Place to Stay Away From Crowds

The welcome and check-in was warm and smooth. The hotel is amazing. Very comfortable and very well appointed. The food is always exceptional. The staff are great. Very attentive and very helpful and friendly. Our stay was excellent and we'll definitely be staying with the Hyatt Centric Murano again 

An amazing place to stay

Lovely, clean hotel, nice location, staff really helpful and friendly. They arranged our pick up and drop off transfers to and from the airport (the just need advance notice). Would highly recommend. The bed was super comfortable, we all slept well after long days of walking around Venice, it's just what is needed!

Great Hotel!

Beautiful hotel. The outside is made to fit in the area and doesn’t look modern or out of place. The inside is modern, artsy and beautiful. Lots of mid century and Venetian styles that look amazing!! The staff was wonderful and having a shuttle (boat) to and from the airport was a great perk of this beautiful hotel. 

Amazing!!

Great location in Murano, it is right next to boat station to go to Venice. Clean, nice rooms. The staff was extremely helpful with all the tourist questions we had (about the area, getting a card to use the boats, best advice on how to get around.) We also really enjoyed the breakfast, very fresh and so many options everyday. 

The hotel was beautiful and very modern. The room served its purpose and was clean and spacious. Went with a friend and staying in the room with two single beds. Only thing I would flag is that everything in the area shuts around 7 except for the hotel and hotel restaurant. That being said the boat taxi is 24/7 so if you wanted to stay out late it’s not to far to Venice and night life. I enjoyed how peaceful and quite it was in the evenings after running around to see all the sites during the day. 

Beautiful property in Murano

The Hyatt Centric Murano was absolutely the best place I have stayed in Venice. I have been to Venice lots because I work for a major airline. I love Venice but I do not like touristy Venice esp in the summer (elbows to asses!!) this place is a refuge and as local as it gets

Avoid Touristy San Marco and stay here! I really am hesitant about posting this because it’s such a best keep secret!

We had a great stay at the hotel. The front desk staff were polite and provided great information about getting around Venice. We stayed in the apartment-style that included a loft with a bed and a downstairs area with two twin beds. The room was clean and it felt spacious enough. The fact that the hotel offers hotel transfer from the airport was an added bonus. 

Great experience at Hyatt Centric Murano

This is an excellent hotel - staff brilliant and a great place to explore Venice without the hustle and bustle of the city itself. Fabulous hotel and great staff and I would recommend this 100%. Stay here rather than Venice 

Top drawer

The location of hotel is ok as you have to take a boat to go to main Island. It is a good property nice breakfast but team at reception is not professional and need training.  Not at all helpful or accommodating.  Breakfast staff is good and airport shuttle is free and very good. 

Murano 2022

Pleasantly surprised as this location was not our first choice. Glad we found this gem of a hotel and the location outside all the hustle of Venice main island. Evenings are the most favorite part of the day with quietness of the day and gentle lapping of the waters makes it a very relaxing place. 

Unexpected location

First time in Italy and staying at this property was everything! The suite rooms highly recommend. My teens loved it. This property has a boat stop infront of it, made it easy to go to the places we wanted to see.
