This hotel was a few blocks away from the beach, but we didn't mind that in the end because the hotel was so clean and comfortable and the staff so accommodating of our needs! They provided beach towels, umbrellas, chairs, etc, so it was still easy to enjoy the ocean with a short walk. The environment was relatively peaceful compared to the larger resorts right along the beach and the hotel always smelled great! Beds were comfortable as well. We decided to extend our stay after our original reservation of 4 days, and the ladies at the reception desk kindly honored the original rate for our room, even though the current online price was substantially higher. Duke's Lane Market around the corner was pretty good for breakfast.
