Excellent Hotel, Pleasant stay. Great experience and courteous staff. Nice restaurant Would definitely recommend for your business stays at Atlanta Mid town. Hotel is located near peach tree…federal reserve

Great stay at Atlanta

Clean room, delicious food at bar/buffet, most staff were 10/10 customer service! personal favorite: parking garage safety, parking garage nightly rate,

cons: know parking situation! $28/night self parking on 8/9 floor of garage (elevator to 8 and walk to 9)

atlanta traffic can be loud at night/after events, typical city traffic can be heard through windows

buffet was time consuming, do they make all of their food from scratch? only one person working ALL of buffet, a la carte, and bar (tabbing out, replenishing buffet, running a la carte orders, helping guests at the bar, making drinks, bussing tables - give girl on 9/16 a RAISE)

personal con: after a music festival or drinking at the bar, respectfully do not want most of the snack/non alcoholic drink options to be healthy! still delicious though! 

would DEFINITELY stay there again!

solid stay

This is an excellent clean space to stay for a visit.  The food is good and the people who work there are very helpful so that you have a great experience.  The food was good and my experience was a good one.

Excellent Place to Stay

Stained and worn carpeting, cigarette burns on furniture, peeling mirror in bathroom, housekeeping didn't show up all day after requested at 7:30am, parking is confusing and all the way up on 9th floor of garage. This hotel is really worn down and in need of updating. Would not stay here again.

Very disappointed - not at all worth the price

There are a lot of opportunities for improvement. 1. Staff engagement of customers. 2. Limited water available.
3. Mattress needs to be changed was very lumpy in Room 506. I recommend take a look how hotels like the Marriott

What a diamond in the rough!  Beautiful hotel walkable to so many restaurants, clubs, and Piedmont Park.  Perfect for any stay, short or long!  I totally recommend this property 100%!  Front desk staff rocked!!!

An oasis in Midtown Atlanta

I stay 2 nights in the hotel, it generally is the hotel is clean, and safe. I can see some city view. But the TV is very old, I can’t watch any shows (like YouTube, Netflix etc.) self parking is a little hard, it locate in the 9th floor, but the elevator is only to the 8th floor, so you have to climb one stair, if you got luggage, that would be awful 

Vacation

Hotel was clean and staff helpful.  Billed for bottled water a day later but I did not use their bottled water.  Required call to service desk to remove from bill.  Henry’s bar and grill across the street has good food at reasonable price.

Good location, clean but watch out for extra bottled water charge even if not used

The stay there was great. The only issue I had was parking on the 9th floor to walk down to the 8th floor with two 50 pound bag to take the elevator down then walk to the hotel through the motion sensor door that didn’t work properly. Outside of that it wasn’t any different than a red roof hotel. What got me was the location. I was able to walk to everything I needed on my business trip 

Close to everything

It was an almost perfect stay! All of the staff members were very kind and helpful. The location is perfect and walkable to  restaurants, entertainment and Marta if you need anything. We were in town for a concert and it makes so much more sense to ride the train to the stadium rather than park and deal with traffic. So, overall it was a great experience! 

Wonderful Midtown Hotel in a great location!

My birthday was screwed because this hotel does not know what hospitality is! My birthday cake and fruit basket were supposed to be delivered in my birthday evening, their incompetent staff just forgot. Next morning at 10:00 am they decided to knock on my door and deliver the saggy cake and the mushy fruits! What a bunch of incompetents! This was a surprise treat from my friends from NY. Thank you Hyatt Centric for screwing my Birthday! 

Very poor in Hospitality

The bed was so comfortable I almost didn’t want to go exploring because of it. The hotel is very centralized and near tons of delicious restaurants. I didn’t really need my vehicle except for when we visited downtown. 

Comfortable Bed and Central Location

Cleaness and overall service is satisfactory. Unbeatable location downtown. Wish the hotel can go through a major rennovation to get rooms upgraded to be modern and high-end looking. Even in the middle of city, room was quiet.

Clean and plesant stay

Junior Suite is not actually as large as it seems. Seeing construction out of the window, was not my idea of great city views. The pool was so cold our lips turned blue...that was no fun. Having to park on the 9th floor, walk down to the 8th floor to get the elevator to the 3rd floor and then walk through the parking lot to get to the lobby should have been a warning on the website. The spaces pictured look so much larger than they actually are. This is the first time I went to a hotel and couldn't wait to actually get home.

The Hyatt Centric is very convenient - near MARTA, near great restaurants.  We used the property for a business meeting for ~20 people for two days.  The sales and events staff was very easy to work with. The hotel was clean.  The food was very, very good (much better than usual hotel food). I would recommend this property to others. 

Great spot in Midtown

Hyatt Centric Midtown Atlanta is located in a fantastic area in Midtown.  The staff is friendly and helpful.  The rooms are spacious and clean.  We had a very restful evening with out any outdoor or indoor noises. A special thank you to Amir for helping with directions to our final destination.

Fantastic location

Hotel very clean workers very courteous. Only thing that is missing is a shuttle to the airport. When I come back to Atlanta, that would be the hotel that I will always stay at because of its cleanness the workers and fitness center.

Excellent hotel

I had a pleasant stay at the Hyatt Centric Midtown Atlanta. The check-in process was smooth thanks to Jordan! He was even able to accommodate me with an early check-in since my flight arrived early. The lobby is stylish and my room was spotless. There’s also a nice bar! I didn’t love the lobster roll dish I ordered but the staff was very friendly. I didn’t use the pool during my stay but it’s on a nice quiet floor near the gym & looked refreshing. The location of the hotel was perfect for me since my business was right in midtown and it is also central to food & light shopping. It’s a walkable area. The hotel has a boutique feel and is tucked away on a hill (hence “Hidden Gem”. It was such a convenient stay and I would return!

Hidden Gem

Furniture was disgusting with multiple stains on multiple pieces of furniture. Floor stains on carpet & on the bathroom floor. $4 for a 16 ounce bottle of water left in the room is ridiculous. Hilton gives its members 4 bottles if 16 ounce water free. Valet parking services were exceptional!

The Hyatt Centric Midtown Atlanta was very nice & close to everything.  Easy access to the Highway & great area to take a nice walk in.  The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful, I will stay here again.

Great place to stay

Staycation for a family occasion at 999 Peachtree @ the Peachtree Club. Conveniently located next to hotel.
Very clean hotel, staff was professional. Great location for intown. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice Hotel

This is an Excellent walking location to many local attraction's such as  Piedmont Park and The Botanical Garden. There is also plenty of shopping and some great dining options, as well as some fun nightlife options. 

Excellent Mid-town Location

If you are trying to decide where to stay during your next trip. Book here at Hyatt Centric Midtown
This stay was incredible, while I initially booked here because of the indoor pool. What was waiting on the other side of those doors was far more incredible. While the storm had the systems down during my arrival, Madison walked us to our room to ensure we had no issues. The room was upgraded to a beautiful junior suite on the 10th floor. Although I wished for ChromeCast on the tv, I could not find anything else to complain about. The staff in the restaurant were remarkable. I enjoyed each night I spent at the bar. My name twin Kendall was the best breakfast host. Leah, Courtney, & Sisqo made the evenings enjoyable and relaxing even met Christy from the revenue sept during one of my nights at the bar. Hyatt really has a standard for the people they employ, this staff demonstrated exemplary service and gratitude. These people are the reason I only book with Hyatt. Thank you again for the wonderful treatment and I will return for another visit next month. 

Stop Reading, Book Hyatt Centric Midtown NOW!!!

What a wonderful hotel. Friendly staff. Great location and clean! We were here on a business trip and had the opportunity to not only stay but also use the catering services. The entire staff is great and the food was delicious! Also so close to wonderful bars and restaurants. 

Great place!

I travel regularly for business and the Hyatt Centric in Midtown Atlanta is one of the best! Check-in is so easy and rooms are always spotless. Wonderful hospitality from the crew every time I visit and I always look forward to coming back. 

Best place to stay in Midtown

Great place to stay!!! Friendly staff with comfortable clean rooms. The whole environment of the hotel is really nice. My family & I felt very safe. We will stay here again in the future. Highly recommend this Hotel.

Great Hotel

Hotel is convenient but has gone downhill over the years. Windows covering fell off, dirty towel was on bathroom floor, bathrobe was torn. I used to like the hotel. Now, it’s strictly Meh. If I can, planning to stay elsewhere going forward.

My daughter and her friend lived the hotel. It was an Awesome experience. The service was topnotch. We were treated like queens. She said wow I've never been treated like this before. Superp Stay!!!!!

Daughter's 13th Birthday Weekend

We stayed in room 1009. The bad: The guests above our room were very noisy. It sounded as if they were moving furniture around through the night. The bathroom needed maintenance. 

The good: Fantastic location! Great view. The bed was comfortable. 

Overall, I was disappointed with the quality based on the price that we paid per night. I will not return to this location and will try a different hotel during my next trip. Definitely not worth the price. 

Disappointing Stay

I will make sure that i speak up the next time my company goes out of town and we need hotel services. The room was fine though it was very noisy all night long. Also, not handicap accessible which needs to be told to people prior to booking.  The main thing was the front desk has challenges on correct information, especially for businesses. We will likely not be using Hyatt as a preferred vendor for travel accommodations ever again. 

Infuriating

My trip was ruined when I was charge for my stay twice which resulted in me having to wait 4 days in order to get my $1500 refund.  Additionally, the pool was closed for the first 3 days for the use of a conference which should have been vocalized.  If it was unforeseen circumstances, I could have been more understanding.  When traveling with younger people, the pool is something they look forward to.

Be Mindful!

Overall the experience was ok.  My issue is that my personal card was over charged when it wasn't suppose too.  Then when I went to call to check to see what the charges were, Front desk worker Jordan stated that he wasnt sure what the charges were and he works the front desk so he knows what he is talking about and that I and all over the place over reacting. he was to also have the manager call me back and I have not gotten a call.

Front Desk

Terrible experience checking in and out with a cooperate CC.  Front desk rep and manager where unsure and uninformed.  The pool was closed for two days with it being the second week in June. Rooms were very nice.

Front Desk training on procedures and policies

Got this hotel for a business meeting. got put in a new room. first thing I noticed was the only light that was connected to the switch was right near the front door. so prepare to stumble in the dark looking for the switches on the lamps in the room. they also had water bottles stashed in the drawers with $4 price labels on them I moved them next to the tv to make it clear I didn't drink them. surprise I got charged for them both. When we came back more water bottles were stashed. 
If you park yourself and pay the parking structures rates its 20 if you ask the hotel they say its unlimited but then charges you $28 bucks every time you go in and out.  Overall avoid like the plague. They took a nice hotel and turned it to a "got you" trap from hell that added over $100 to our final bill. 

Prepare to get billed for things you didn't use.

You cannot beat this location in Midtown Atlanta. 2 blocks from the Marta station and walking distance from restaurants and bars and the Botanical Garden.  The Hotel was super clean and the staff super friendly.  What else can you ask for? 

Great Hotel, Even Better Location

The stay was pleasant and the staff was profesional and cordial. When I checked out the bill was correct, but a day latter I got a new ebill charging me for one breakfast. Breakfast was included in the rate of the room. I Stay for two days and got breakfast both days, but they charge for one days after I checked out. There is no information on the email or ebill on who to contact to resolve this issue.

What a relief to find a hotel in Midtown that was clean and where the staff were friendly, helpful, and engaging! The area was perfect for walking around and seeing the city… Good restaurants, abundant coffee shops, and a great park nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel in a perfect location

Hotel looks great in lobby and common areas. Room was not in the same condition, furniture was stained, bathroom mirror looks like it's melting from the lights behind it, bathroom sink is falling down from underneath the countertop, pillows were hard and clumpy.

Nice lobby, poor rooms

I’ve always done my reservation through Hotwire, and every hotel room I’ve booked with has Accommodated my preference (double bed). Low occupancy at Hotel that day. Front desk customer service agent wasn’t friendly at all. Decided to charge me an additional 20 bucks for a double bed hotwire stated that the hotel can choose the bed for me. I checked on Hyatt Centric website, and it look like the king and a double room for the same price. I was charge four dollars per bottle for the complementary bottles of water in the room that said free on label. The room was outdated not worth the price. TV did not have YouTube or Netflix options.

Need updates on room

Poor communication with billing, a very bland looking room, barely any hotel accommodations that weren’t part of some major upgrade. I won’t be staying again. Good staffing, but the lack of communication makes it hard for me to attend again in the future.

Hyatt Mehtown centric

This stay was so horrible that it brought me to tears. I originally checked out this hotel because I travel for work frequently and wanted to make this my go to. The first issue was that I called early twice prior to check in to do an early checkin at 2pm and the desk said they would have my room ready by then. I ended up coming in at regular check in time and my room was not even ready. The second problem was the room I booked was the corner king CITY VIEW room (paid extra for this) and the room I ended up with was a room that was face level with the restaurant across the street (this is not a city view). I went to the front desk and they said they could only switch me into a 2 queen room (when I was online others were available). If i had my computer with me I would've canceled and looked for a new hotel. I decided to switch rooms and once I got to the room- there was a bug in the bathroom, stained pillow, no fitted sheet (just a flat sheet tucked onto it, and the comforter had no cover on it which I have pictures to document. My last issue was check out. When I checked in, Marcus at the front desk was nice and gave me the approval for a late check out at 2pm to accommodate my business meetings. I went to the front desk the night prior to check out to confirm the late check out and they told me that I was not allowed to, etc so then I had to switch my whole work schedule around due to the hotels mistake and not honoring what I was previously told. They did eventually "try" to fix the problem and said they would charge me $100 for it.
This ruined my business trip for any future trips I do- I will not be booking Hyatt or let my team book here when we have to travel to Atlanta (which is frequent & on weekdays). This hotel stay was also suppose to be a relaxing few days for my birthday as well and Hyatt ruined that for me in addition to my business travels by adding on so much stress.

Worst hotel experience ever

Our trip to see Taylor Swift was a dream. We stayed in the Hyatt Centric Midtown and it was a PERFECT spot. Walking to many restaurants and bars, and best of all walking to the Marta station within 5 minutes. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. We were supposed to have a junior suite with a sofabed, but our room didn't have a sofabed, so they did bring us a rollaway bed, which worked fine. The room was clean and spacious. Had a drink at the bar and the bartender was nice and the espresso martini delicious! Would definitely stay here again.

A-TAY-L Trip

Were there for the weekend for the Taylor Swift concert and the hotel was great! Very friendly staff and a great location in Atlanta! Room was very nice and clean will definitely be back when visiting Atlanta in the future!

Great Stay at Hyatt Centric

The hotel location was great with easy access to the belt line and metro. While the hotel lobby and restaurant looked recently renovated and in good shape, the rooms themselves were pretty worn with chipped / damaged furniture and walls and rippled carpet. The rooms desperately need an upgrade. The staff were professional, friendly, and accommodating.

Great location, older hotel

I enjoyed the overall Ila experience, especially the breakfast downstairs. Kyah from front desk was very helpful with room coordination and where to go to have a great time in Atlanta. Waydeisha from housekeeping went above and beyond to give us a tour of the actual hotel.

A trip to Atlanta

Great hotel, staff and restaurant. Close to everything in the Midtown area and also pet friendly. Staff is always willing to meet whatever your travel needs maybe. Highly recommend this hotel when staying in the Atlanta Midtown area. 

Excellent Midtown Atlanta Hotel

The bed was the softest bed I have ever slept on The next time I'm in Atlanta I will be coming back to this hotel. The location of the hotel was right in the middle of everything. you can walk anywhere around the hotel and have a good time. The staff was very friendly and helpful 

THE BED

Midtown was a nice neighborhood, great accessibility, the only issue was a little bit noisy since it is close to the street.
Also charging for parking, $28 daily.
Overall satisfied with my stay, safety was fine, plenty of restaurants around. 

Great location, clean hotel

Our experience was mixed. Check-in was smooth and the staff was very friendly. I did not enjoy parking on the 9th floor of the parking garage. This is where all the guests of the hotel park. Our room was dirty. Bathroom smelled like body odor and there were stains on a couple places in the room. Paying almost $300 a night felt like a crime. The area is really cool and near a big park which is nice. A couple homeless people and sketch people floating around the streets by the hotel . 

Proceed with Caution

The kids didn’t want to leave for outings planned. Staff was extremely friendly and welcomed us back from said outing. Staff was attentive by accommodating all 4 of us. Thank you house keeping for keeping things clean and linen available. 

Great place

I stayed for three nights and the overall stay was very positive.  But after leaving the hotel I saw $80 in valet parking fees charged to me that did not apply.  Flew into town and didn't even have a car.  Required an extra phone call to rectify the issue but there may be others who don't realize this and are simply out $80. 

Great stay but check your invoice at the end!

This was a comfortable and clean hotel and the front desk staff were great! The room was well designed and a great view of mid town. The gym was clean and almost everything worked (one treadmill was broken). We felt at home here for the weekend. 

Great stay

The staff are very friendly and helpful.  The rooms are nice, clean and quiet.  The hotel is in the perfect location if you need to be in the Midtown Atlanta area. Valet parking is quick and the employees are professional.  I would highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful Stay

This hotel provided everything we needed for a 2 nite stay.  The staff was efficient and the location is perfect.  The beds were comfortable and the heat setting worked perfectly.  I always appreciate coffee in hotel room and her I was t o have as much as I wanted.


Good Hotel for the cost

Customer service is poor. I was quoted one price in person, once I received my bill it was more than what was quoted to me. I spoke with the manager he acknowledged the error/miscommunication but refused to make to correction. Can’t believe the experience I had at the Hyatt!!! 

Poor Customer Service

The location is very good, staff was friendly, and the room was clean. But the broken lighted mirror in Ram 911 that almost blinded with extremely bright  light into your eyes made our stay there extremely unpleasant. I was shocked that the hotel has not replaced this fixture and assigned it as if nothing is wrong. Wow.

Hotel has worm wood surface in room furniture and doors. Mirror is peeling off bathroom sink. After requesting housekeeping floors were dirty. The hotel location is good but there is a steep incline or stairway outside the hotel that must be claimed to enter front entrance. There is a side entrance at the street sidewalk that could be used, but it is closed for hotel guest access. The hotel should make it clear about access to property for elderly or impaired 

Outdated and not clean

Great central location, museums, parks, marta transit center.
Not enough dinning options nearby, and cafe/bar in the hotel was disappointing to say the least.
Staff was super friendly and as helpful as they could be.

Clean, Central and Affordable

Our room was quiet with a nice view. The beds were a bit soft but comfortable. The room was very well worn and it was clear it had not been deep cleaned in a while. The carpet and chair both had stains and the night table was crusted around the edges of the glass top. It made me want to clean every surface before using it.
On the positive side the location is great, close to the park and also to pubic transport. Lots of good restaurants and entertainment nearby.  The staff couldn’t have been nicer or friendlier. If the hotel would invest in a refresh and deep clean current rooms it would be great. 

Great Staff and Location but needs a refresh

Cleanliness could be better. I arrived at 4:45pm but my room was not yet ready. The staff were pleasant but which made up for the fact that I had to wait for my room. The pool was clean and enjoyable. The cleanliness of the room could have been much better. 

Galantine

The hotel is nice like the other Hyatt Centic brands however the experience was slightly different from stays in Chicago and Miami. The parking is not ideal. There two options: valet or self parking both are expensive and inconvenient. Hotel self parking is located on the 9th floor and once you park, you have to walk down to the 8th floor to use the elevators. Inconvenience when checking in and out with luggage.  Besides this everything was great!

Atl Hyatt

The hotel is very good. Very friendly staff. Good facilities, decent wifi, good location. My stomach didn't agree with the late night bar food though. Chips were fried in reused oil, the chedder & chicken melt sandwich thing wasn't tasy and the same. Most likley due to reused oil being used. I did not have breakfast or any other meals there so hard to judge. May have been a one off incident.

Lovely hotel

I had no issues and check in/out was a breeze. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to what I needed. The room was super clean and had very good noise cancelling. It was the first time I stayed at a hotel during a conference and didn't hear doors slamming all night. 

Very comfortable stay!

Excellent location - close to everything. Staff are very nice and accommodating. Happy to share personal recommendations. Room was big with floor to ceiling windows and very clean. Overall great experience!

The staff was very friendly and helpful from the front desk to the bellman. Joseph and Madeline were exceptional and provided great customer service. House keeping was eager to clean the rooms..lol they were at the door at 930am one morning🤣

Friendly Staff

On the first full day of my stay at Hyatt Centric Midtown Atlanta, I was in my room when Housekeeping came by. She knocked and asked me something that I was unable to interpret, but I nodded my head yes, as if to say, "It's ok for you to come in even though I'm in here." She said "Ok," and stepped away. I assumed she was getting her things to come in and take care of the room, but she actually never came back. As I left the hotel later, I asked the front desk if they would send Housekeeping to my room, explaining the exchange that had previously taken place. They said they would. I came back to my room several hours later, and the room had not been cleaned. I went down to the front desk again and asked if it was too late to have my room cleaned, telling them again about the earlier situation and noting that I had been by the front desk once already to request service. They said that Housekeeping services were still occurring and that they probably just hadn't made it to my room yet. They said they would mention it (again) to Housekeeping. Despite all this, Housekeeping did not come by until the next day.

We ate breakfast at the hotel on our first morning there. After choosing a table, we waited for a server to take our order. None came by. We waited for a while and decided to just get the breakfast buffet to avoid further delay. We did that and still saw no server until one finally dropped our check off at our table at the end of our meal. The following four mornings, the four of us just walked to the Flying Biscuit down the street for breakfast (HIGHLY RECOMMEND).

Similar situation at the Hyatt Centric bar. The four of us stopped in one evening for drinks. Because there was no server circulating, we all just went up to the bar to order our drinks. We each ordered just one drink apiece, but we definitely would have spent more money at the bar if we had received just a hint of service. We did not return to the bar.

With four in our party and 4-5 nights in the hotel and breakfast buffets costing $24 apiece and mixed drinks costing around $20 apiece, I'd estimate the hotel lost at least $500 in food and beverage over the remaining days that we chose to go elsewhere for these things.

Running out of space in this review, but I would also mention that only one person at the check-in desk had a clue about MGM's partnership with Hyatt wherein patrons may opt to receive MGM Rewards points instead of WoH points. LSS: I did not receive the MGM Reward points.

Missed the Mark on some Important Items

No water pressure, room air will not work without motion in room. Stifling hot hallways but freezing pool area/water. Only decaf k cups provided. No shamp/cond/body wash in the provided in room bottles. Floors in room turned feet and socks black. Ice maker on floor broken entire stay. 

Mini vacay disappointment

We stayed here for the weekend while attending a show. Things could have been a bit better. We weren't able to get the "upgraded" room that came with my Explorist status due to it not being ready when we arrived well after the check time of 4:00pm, and the room we received had a couple of mechanical issues (tv not working which was fixed promptly, and a motion light that strobe lighted for most of the night). No glasses are provided in the rooms, so if you have a drink other than coffee/tea, you need to go down to the restaurant to "borrow" glasses or plastic cups from the front desk. No caffeinated coffee was provided in room, only decaf, but they quickly sent someone up to provide that for us. They were very prompt in responding to any requests we had, it just seems like it could have been a better experience if things were handled in advance. We stayed on a Sat/Sun night, and it was very loud maybe because it was a holiday weekend, so if you are trying to sleep before 2am, you may want ear plugs. At least on the side facing 10th Street.

It could have been better

Very convenient to good restaurants, with lovely rooms.  The staff is friendly and tries hard, with the exception of housekeeping, which is hit and miss.  Hotels have generally gone down a bit, post-pandemic, so, if I were grading on that curve, I'd maybe give them a four.

Convenient and generally pleasant

From express on-line check-in to easily upgrading to a larger room, Hyatt's app was as simple as it gets. The valet, the front desk, housekeeping, and management are on top of their game at this hotel. It's about a 3/4 mile walk to the FOX with plenty of great restaurants to choose from on the way there and back from the show. It's the perfect location with an exceptional staff for an overnight stay in Midtown.
I'm impressed Hyatt.

Perfect stay for a FOX theatre event

I came here for a business trip where I stayed as a guest and we used a conference room for our meetings and meals. It was a great experience with great service. The food was good, the amenities were clean, and we all had a good time. 

All was great, very accommodating for our stay, great location. Staff was on top of everything. Help my mom who uses a walker to get a room that worked well for her. The hotel was not real busy during the Thanksgiving holiday, but everything went smoothly. 

Recent Stay

Had a great couple of nights here. Facilities are pretty great for a hotel this size - I especially enjoyed the lap pool and the gym. Room was clean. Service was pleasant, friendly and unobtrusive which was a welcome change from a number of other hotels I've stayed in the US recently which were more focused on business-travel where much of the service comes across as fussy or over-the-top and unnecessary, presumably for the purpose of garnering tips. I had a corner king room which was a really great option - big windows, very comfortable bed, huge bathroom. 

Excellent location, clean, pleasant customer service experience

Overall solid experience and good location. Hotel staff was knowledgeable of the area and helpful whenever needed. The hotel made a couple accommodation adjustments for me and didn’t hesitate to make it happen -even though it wasn’t anything too difficult. The gym is more spacious than the avg gym and it had a batter selection of equipment to make the most of it. 

Great place in a great location

Stayed here for a training/workshop. Experience was good. The wings at the hotel restaurant were superb, too. Get you some. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Only downside were the beds. Were Not comfy.

Very clean hotel. Great location

There’s no clock in the room. The bed linen is cheap. The thermostat would not go past 76 degrees and blew out cool air so the room was cold. The system makes noise when it’s on. The mattress and pillows are cheap and the room smelled stale. 

Disappointed

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The room was no nicer or cleaner than you’d expect to find at a Best Western or a La Quinta for 1/2 or 2/3 of the price. The breakfast is also $24; if I stay at a crummy hotel like this one, I would prefer to at least have a self-service waffle maker!

Shabby room

The hotel location was great but the shower did not drain and the toilet ran alot. We had lattes downstairs that were good. There were people in the next room that were noisy, but we did not report it. 

Bathroom was not well maintained.

Must be a change in management, hotel is dramatically improved from when I stayed there a couple years ago. Staff is exceptionally professional and friend, hotel is much cleaner and better maintained. Highly recommended, I'm staying there again this week.

Great hotel and stay, recommended

I stay in the location regularly and every time is perfect. Check-in is easy and the rooms are always at their best. Service is amazing from everyone from start to finish. The front desk is top notch. 

Hyatt Centric in Midtown Atlanta is beyond expectations every time

I would certainly stay here again. Clean and comfortable rooms, great amenities. No complaints other than they needed more pillows on a king sized bed. The location was in a great neighborhood with enough to do around that is walkable to get to and from. 

Great Hotel and Location

I could not be happier with the property, front desk people, and the location is perfect! My only gripe is the weekend breakfast people, they provided poor service, poor listening, like asking for a coke and they present a butter knife. If you want a Saturday morning Bloody Mary you won’t get one here. They said all the stuff was locked up. Also, bring your own ketchup, they’re still waiting on a truck. Lame. With all this I will still continue to stay here, I’ll just go to the #flyingbiscuit.

All was great except……

It's a nice hotel, in a solid location, and the people are friendly enough, but it didn't feel any different than any other hotel, and I was checked in without any additional context of gym hours, location, breakfast location, etc. It was just a check in, here are your keys, bye. That left me wanting. Plus the rooms had very thin blankets/sheets, so it actually got a bit cold in the room.

Good location, nice design, didn't feel luxe/personalized

Everyone was super inviting and friendly.  Just real people that made me smile every time I entered the building.  Great service and people!!  Thank you so much for everything and I will be staying again someday.


Super friendly and inviting!

The Hyatt's has the best customer service ever! The rooms need to be updated are could use some repairs, but the customer service makes up the difference for staying anywhere else. I'll stay at any Hyatt over any other hotel!

Sandybee

Excellent location in midtown Atlanta.  Many places to eat within walking distance. Self-parking was $28/night. Nice city view from our room.  Very large windows.  Room was clean, beds comfortable, four pillows per bed was nice. Expect noise though.  At night, emergency vehicle sirens and drag racing, even loud voices from the street and from adjoining rooms. Television in neighboring rooms could be heard as well as conversations late at night. When neighboring rooms turned on water, loud hum was heard in our room. Not sure I would stay again because of the noise. 

Excellent Location, but room was noisy.

We were greeted and met by the best staff ever. From the time we pulled up to check in to the process of checking in it was amazing. I will always check in at The Hyatt from now on. The staff was amazing and made our stay amazing as well. 

Great hotel

Walk to great restaurants, Piedmont Park and near local colleges.
Pros:  Good location, great staff, clean hotel, parking lot, hallway and rooms.
Cons:  Can hear street traffic pretty clear, furniture a little warn.

Midtown hotel

Let me say the staff, front desk and valet were all always AMAZING and super friendly. Ran out of coffee pods and they were brought more to my room in 5mins. Same when I asked for an extra blanket.  Bed was firmer than I would have liked. The indoor Pool was too cold. You would think it would have been at least warm. Also heard a knocking sound at night. Overall I would definitely stay here again. Great view and spacious room with a King Delux. This is a solid 4 star hotel. 

Would stay again.

Great experience. Clean hotel. Great location. Convenient to MARTA and restaurants! Great bar!  Courteous and concerned staff.  The most uncomfortable mattress in history.  So hard!  Pillows felt like a bag of rocks.

Great place to stay. Awesome breakfast. I like the rooms. Very spacious and clean. I will recommend others to this place. The neighboring stores are great and very good service. Keep providing excellent service.

My daughter and I took our first mother- daughter trip together and the staff made this trip extra special! From the first night we checked in, arriving tired and worn out from delayed flights; we were greeted with smiles and warm professional attitudes literally AT THE DOOR! Ty ( I think was his name) opened the door and greeted us with the sincerest smile, friendly attitude and professionalism.
Checkin was a breeze and the gentleman who checked us in was quick, friendly and had great recommendations! 
That night we were so tired we dined at the on site restaurant and we got Shanunti as our host. She was AMAZING!!! Her service was great and so needed after a long day in airports. Every day when we would pass by she gave us the warmest greetings and always had an encouraging word for my daughter! Even the gentleman at the desk at night went out of his way to get us bottles of water when we found ourselves thirsty at 11pm! Miranda, who was at the desk during the day, gave us excellent recommendations to restaurants and was so interested in how our stay was going! 
 I wish I remembered everyone’s name, but between front desk, doormen and Shanunti … this location knows how to hire the right people. Thank you for a memorable stay and we will be back!!!

I was simply blown away at the amenities and professionalism of the staff. I’ve never had anyone open and close doors for me before! That was a nice touch. This stay was a wonderful experience. I will be back!

Awesome staff, awesome stay!

Stay here was comfortable.  Staff friendly and helpful. I like that it is close to the Marta station and makes the trip in from the airport easy, quick, and cheap.  I don't have more to say, but am working towards 200 characters....

Good location, rooms, service and ammentities

Hotel was excellent . Food was delicious , must try the egg rolls . The staff was very polite, helpful and attentive. I  was very impressed with the cleanliness and the quiet of the hotel . I would defiently recommend  

Excellent Stay

Traveling 300 days/year the biggest difference between my usual stays and this one was 1000% how incredibly kind the staff was. I’m not just talking about the front desk but every single person we encountered. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Friendly staff makes all the difference

This hotel is price sensitive and a great value. Clean common area, nice confortable room.

My only disappointment is in the restaurant. Breakfast hours vary from day to day, are not properly announced and staff working that staff is not the most pleasant to deal whit.

Book this hotel. You will not be disappointed. Staff has a CONSTANT smile, rooms are clean, the location is so nice. Henry’s across the street is delicious. Everything about my stay was perfect. I would recommend to anyone and will stay here every time I visit Atlanta in the future. 

Book it!

Atlanta Local celebrating my anniversary and surprising my BF with a stay in the city. Not worth the money. $800 for an old and dated room with faulty outlets, stained couches, dirty rough carpet and no parking. Then paid for valet for 3 days and my car was returned scratched.
