    "Haven from City Stress"

Driving for hours in the rain from Connecticut, we were completely frazzled pulling up to Gild Hall for our first stay. The attentive and friendly staff (from valet to check-in) made everything seamless. We enjoyed a glass of freshly uncorked Prosecco (gratis) in the very chill vibes of the lobby, and every bit of stress disappeared. The rest of our stay was the same—seamless and easy. We found our floor and our room to be completely charming. Gild Hall doesn’t feel hotel-ish in the way of the usual bleak, bland sameness you get in an average hotel. The classic/eclectic interior design made it feel like staying at your coolest cousin’s fab flat. Thoroughly enjoyable and cozy. Like check-in, checking out went without a hitch. This was our first stay at Gild Hall, but it won’t be our last!

    "Top staff"

Rob the manger is top notch and shout out to Dante at the bar for always being a smiling face. The front desk staff and restaurant are better than other hotels in the Financial District. IMO better than the Beekman and the Moxy in the same area.

wonderful hotel and staff were excellent. Front desk staff were warm and very welcoming, and our room attendant was the best we have ever had. The room was immaculate every day. She was simply amazing!

    "A NYC must!"

This is now my go-to NY hotel, hands down! The staff was truly world-class, incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I’ve stayed in several hotels in the area and no room soE compares to the Gild: large rooms, great shower, great desk setup. The location is perfect for FiDi/Tribeca and close to the subway.

"Beautiful boutique hotel with excellent service"

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful boutique hotel. It’s located close to many New York attractions and the room was great. The staff are fabulous. I highly recommend this spot. I’ll be back

    "Look no further."

Hotels in New York are notoriously underwhelming, because simply being in New York, they don’t have to try. The rooms are often small and dingy. The hotels are outdated. This is not the case with The Gild. This hotel was amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and courtesy. The rooms are amazing, they are huge compared to other not hotel rooms in New York and they’re very comfortable. Every luxury you can think of is in there and the cocktails in the bottle are such a nice touch. Room service is from Felice, so enough said, it’s spectacular. The bar downstairs is bustling and the staff are kind and friendly. Don’t think twice, this is the place to be. You’re close to the trains and the FDR, making the location ideal. Stay away from the monster that is Times Square and stay here. You’ll thank me.

    "Comfortable Stay"

Our king suite was perfect for a short stay. It was very spacious, had a pull-out couch in the living area, microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge in the kitchenette space. Although the room lacked much sunlight, the lamps and lighting were sufficient, and what can you really expect in FiDi? Although it was a comfortable stay, I will note that the nearby construction started at 7 in the morning. The staff at Gild Hall were all friendly. We were pleasantly surprised by the Prosecco served in the lobby from 3-11pm!
