The atmosphere when I walked in the lobby made me feel like I was somewhere far far away, almost like I just got to an interesting part in a good book. The rooms have tons of character and walking through the halls gives you a feeling of what’s next! Beautiful place to be, I’ll be back!

Very convenient location, check in staff were above and beyond, room was very nice with a nice variety of snacks and drinks. The only things I would say are that the pillows were softer than my liking, but this is a personal preference. Would stay again!

“I stayed at Glid Hall for three nights in March 2023. What a fantastic hotel. I was greeted with such kindness, and this continued throughout my stay. Global Travel booked the king room, and my room was situated on the 12th floor. The room was fantastic. Clean, modern, and had an amazing view over Wall Street (New York). The rooms were big for New York standards. I can’t complain about this hotel. The gym was great, the rooftop bar was fantastic, and all the facilities were clean and modern. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient, and helpful. That impressed me the most.

I stayed three nights at Gild Hall and everything was perfect for a long weekend to explore the city and catch up with friends. The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly, and our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location worked great for us as we didn't want to be in the thick of tourist activity in Midtown. Gild Hall is easy walking distance to the Seaport and the pedestrian walk on Brooklyn Bridge, and subway access is close by so we were able to get to other parts of the city easily. I would definitely stay here again and am happy to recommend it to friends going to NYC.

Tourists are gone and now I can enjoy my time in the city without lines. A perfect place to rest up is right here at Gild Hall. Thank you for you attention, the chocolates, and easy check-in and check-out process. The breakfast was amazing. All my best.

The rooms are spotless, the hotel is not just clean and tidy, but classy and cool too! Staff went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. The drinks and food were really good. They had a happy hour when I was checking in, so not much make this woman happier than being handed a glass of prosecco when I walk in the door! Everything was great and it was easy to get Lyft right from the front door.

Large family group in lower Manhattan for a family wedding. This hotel was close by the Battery Park View venue. We were unexpectedly delighted by this charming and sophisticated hotel. Front desk greeted us warmly and then by name everytime we came through the small lobby. Lobby was filled with comfortable little seating areas. When we returned later in the evening we were offered water bottles by the front desk attendant. Junior at the door and Rob at the front desk were very helpful with early check in and with neighborhood suggestions.

From the minute I arrived, the staff was friendly, helpful, and gave great service!!! Special thanks to John, Junior, Jonathan, Liz, Jose & Rob!!! You help make the Avon stay perfect. I loved the bottomless prosecco and the Feline restaurant attached was really good! The decor was fabulous too!

I loved everything about this charming hotel...from the cozy atmosphere to the comfortable rooms. The home away from home feel and the attentiveness of the staff was second to none. I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

There are plenty of hotel choices in the Financial District, but this one stands out. I was greeted with great customer service from the second I walked in. Room was clean, well appointed and conducive to a great night's sleep. The hotel had great atmosphere including a cozy Italian restaurant (Try the Spinach Lasagna). All this at a great price--give this one a try, you won't be disappointed!
