I was so pleased with this hotel and the beautiful views it provided as well as the gorgeous pools! The personal were all very friendly and accommodating. We would love to come back one day. The food was also very good and they offer entertainment in the dining area nightly. We loved our room, air conditioned and quiet. We were a few steps away from the pool area which was also great. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious and could hold all my beauty supplies without a problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kauai. It was also very family friendly!

Very pleasant stay. The property is awesome, very well located right on Shipwreck beach and just minutes away from Poipu beach. The pool area is very relaxing. The salt water lagoon is unique and amazing.

Top notch property, restaurants, pool, and overall experience! We were fortunate enough to have spent 6 days at the Hyatt over Thanksgiving with extended family (age range 11-84) to celebrate a birthday as well as the holiday. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, the staff was attentive, friendly, and able to anticipate needs and prevent issues so we could fully enjoy our time on the resort as well as on the island in general. We will be back!

We recently spent 5 days at the Grand Hyatt and loved it. The resort is well kept with beautiful grounds clean rooms, and incredible pool area. All the staff we interacted with were super friendly and helpful. Have stayed at many Hyatt resorts including the one on Kaanapali on Maui and this resort is definitely a step above. We look forward to going back again someday.

The location and outside property is truly outstanding. The rooms and public spaces are very worn and in need of renovation. One of the elevators in our wing was broken throughout our stay so we used the stairs instead. It looks like the stairwells are never cleaned and were last painted when the hotel was first built.

The Grand Hyatt Kauai is simple a magical property. While the physical property is spectacular and beautifully designed with unparalleled sight lines of the ocean from every vantage point, it is the hotel staff that puts this property over the top. Can’t wait until we return.

Wonderful place to stay. The Hyatt on Kauai is one of my favorite spots to go. The hotel and rooms are beautiful. The staff is wonderful and you are greeted throughout your stay. The pools, lagoon and waterslide are favorite for the kids and the rest of the family. Restaurants onsite are fantastic. Tidepools being my favorite and Stevinsons coming in second. The only waring I will give is that the Luau is not great. The food and staff are wonderful but the entertainment is poor. Find another one or go just for the food and drinks.

This was our kids first time to our favorite island. They had a blast at the resort. We were all blown away at the attentiveness of the staff. It was our daughter’s 7th birthday and the staff went out of their way to make her feel special. We can’t thank you enough for helping create a core memory for us and the kids. We are looking forward to our return to the resort!

Beautiful, clean and quiet place. Lush with plants and pretty flowers through out the resort. Friendly staffs. Free parking is a big plus. Big swimming pools but limited hot tube space. Great hiking spot near by.

We truly enjoyed our 6 night stay at the beautiful Grand Hyatt Kauai! The sound of the waves off of the balcony was very peaceful. We did not have too much trouble finding a chair at the many pool areas and preferred overlooking the saltwater lagoon with some ocean views. The oceanfront rooms are beautiful and large, with a nice balcony. My only caution would be to be specific about where the room is located upon check in as the far wing from the lobby gets to be hike if you are staying there a while.
