Hotel Policies

The Hyatt House of Seattle/Redmond team is dedicated to the Hyatt Standard as well as combining our own quality assurance standards. Here you will find policies specific to our property to help facilitate transparency and answer some questions you may have about your stay. Full policy details and clarification can be obtained by speaking with the Front Desk or Management.

Payment Card Policy

A valid Credit / Debit card with matching identification is required for your reservation and is required to be physically inserted to the Chip/PIN reader. The card will be authorized for Room + Tax + Incidental charges unless previous arrangements have been made prior to arrival.

You may choose to change the payment method at any time prior to check out. If you wish to pay in Cash, a card must be authorized temporarily upon check in and a cash payment can be accepted only upon check out.

We do not accept any form of mobile payments, including, but not limited to, Android Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, etc.

Pet Policy

We currently only accept dogs to stay at our hotel. To ensure maximum comfort and safety for all of our guests, a deep clean is implemented after departure to ensure the room is clean and free of any residual allergens.

The following pet fees are applied on a per stay basis and not per pet:

1-6 Nights = $75.00 USD + TAX

7+ Nights = $175.00 USD + TAX

*** Limit two (2) dogs per room with a combined weight of less than 75lbs (34.02kg). All dogs must be well behaved and housebroken. We reserve the right to refuse pets for aggressive behavior or other disturbances caused by the pet.

There is an established dog walking park / area adjacent to the hotel with signage, collection bags, and trash receptacles.

Service Animals are exempt from any pet fee. However, the US Department of Justice and Civil Rights does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as Service Animals. As a result, these animals are subject to our current pet fee.

It is mandatory for all guest rooms with pets to be serviced by our housekeepers at a minimum of every three (3) days. We thank you in advance for your cooperation. **

Laundry Services

There is a 24-hour self-service laundry facility located on property with key access. The machines in this facility are only able to take payment in the form of US Quarters (0.25 USD increments). The total cost for (1) wash cycle, (1) dry cycle, and (1) single-use detergent box all together is $4.75 USD.

Quarters can be distributed at the Front Desk. Tender exchanges (i.e. charging the room in exchange for quarters) is not permitted. There is no ATM on-site but various ATMs are within a 5-10 minute walking distance.

Dry Cleaning is outsourced and available Monday – Friday. Same-day cleaning is available only if an order is received by the Front Desk before 8:30 AM of the intended day of service. Any order received after 8:30 AM will be expected to be delivered the following day. Laundry bags and order forms (including pricing) are available in every room.

Complimentary Room Upgrades

Currently, all Hyatt House and Hyatt Place properties within the North Americas do not participate in the “Best Room Available” clause of the World of Hyatt Program, regardless of any elite member status. As a result, room upgrades may be given, but they are in no way, shape or form guaranteed. Any complimentary upgrade received at Hyatt House Seattle/Redmond is the sole discretion of Hotel Management and not affiliated with the World of Hyatt Loyalty Program.

Check-In / Out Requests

Official check-in time for this property is 3:00 PM PST. Early check-in requests are not guaranteed and heavily affected by occupancy, Hyatt Member late check out requests, and room type availability. Any check-in prior to 11:00 AM is subject to a room charge equal to one half (½) of the reservation’s rate per night.

Check-out time is 12:00 PM (Noon). Hyatt Elite Members may make use of their guaranteed late check out but only by request. These member benefits are not automatic.

Any World of Hyatt Member who requests a check-out past 5:00 PM PST will be charged one full (+1) night equal to their current reservation’s rate per night.

Guests requesting a late departure after 1:00 PM are subject to a room charge equal to one half (½) of the reservation’s rate per night (excluding World of Hyatt Members).

Meeting Spaces

We currently have various meeting spaces available for rent by appointment. Pricing is subject to availability and time slots must be reserved at least 24-hours in advance.

The following rates apply to our basic private meeting spaces:

Non-Guest Rental = $100.00 USD per hour

Guest Rental = $50.00 USD per hour

Full Day Rental = $300.00 USD

We also have larger event spaces for meetings and banquets. Please contact our Sales Department for accurate pricing, square footage, max occupancy, and availability.

Please note that for health, safety, and liability purposes, we cannot accommodate or organize events involving outside food and beverage. This policy also applies to our HBar lounge area.

Parking Policy

Complimentary parking (7 feet height restriction) is located in the parking garage across the street on the lower level. To prevent ticketing / towing a parking permit is given upon ID / reservation verification. This garage is owned and operated by Riverpark Apartments of Redmond. Both Hyatt House and Riverpark are not responsible for any theft or vandalism that is incurred during your stay. Please secure your valuables before leaving the vehicle unattended. Security officers are present during overnight hours for routine sweeps inside and outside of the parking garage.
