Quirk Hotel Charlottesville

We are at an extraordinary point in time. While we have a desire to stay open, serve our loyal guests and welcome our colleagues to work, there is a critical need for us to help fight a global health crisis and prioritize the health and wellbeing of our colleagues, guests and community.

As such, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend the Quirk Hotels services, restaurants, bars and galleries. We will update our websites regularly and communicate updates via social. We want nothing more than resume normal operations for our guests and colleagues as soon as it is safe to do so.

Our hearts are with our beloved Quirk Family who are impacted, and to all of those in the hospitality and service industries experiencing the same. We are dedicated to doing what we can to help our employees during this time and will do everything we can to ensure a quick path toward reopening. We can’t wait to reunite with all when that time comes.

On behalf of all of us at Quirk, we send our best wishes for your safety and wellbeing. We are grateful for your loyalty and support and look forward to celebrating brighter days ahead together. Until then, please take care and feel free to contact DH.Quirk.Hotel@destinationhotels.com with any questions.

Stay well,

Quirk Charlottesville guestroom

Hotel Exterior

The concept for the hotel stemmed from the desire of its founders, Katie and Ted Ukrop, to use art and history as central design elements to spark curiosity and conversation drawing guests into the present moment.

Quirk Hotel Charlottesville is the second hotel to open under the Quirk Hotel brand; the first opened in Richmond in September 2015. Quirk Charlottesville encompasses two historic homes dating back to the 18th century. In juxtaposition to the local art-infused hotel, the adjacent farm homes are art relics of Charlottesville’s years gone by.
