Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment

The safety and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues is always a top priority. Hyatt’s Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment enhances its operational guidance and resources around colleague and guest safety and peace of mind.  The multi-layered commitment will build on Hyatt’s existing rigorous protocols and include:

A certification process by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) at all hotels around the world;

Colleague training and support resources

A cross-functional working group of medical experts and industry professionals that will offer input and recommendations across various aspects of the hotel experience.

At Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport, we have implemented enhanced measures around cleanliness, sanitization and social distancing in an effort to ensure our colleagues and guests enjoy a healthy, safe and comfortable environment. Specific health and safety measures currently in place include:

Colleague certification and trainings for hygiene and cleanliness

Increased frequency of cleaning with hospital-grade disinfectants on all high-touch surfaces, guestrooms and shared spaces  

 Implementation of enhanced food safety and hygiene protocols for restaurants, and group meetings and events

Prominently placed hand sanitizer stations throughout hotel public and employee areas and entrances

Zero contact services

Complimentary protective masks and other equipment for hotel colleagues and guests

Social distancing guidance in public areas

Pet Policy

We are happy to host your canine companions during your stay with us, and offer dog beds and treats upon request. Please inform us three days in advance.


Up 6 nights: $100 per stay

7–30 nights: Additional $100 cleaning fee

30 or more nights: A fee will be assessed at the hotel’s discretion

Weight Limits

Only dogs weighing 50 pounds and under or two dogs under a combined weight of 75 pounds are permitted.


Credit Card

A valid credit card must be presented at the time of check-in

It will be authorized for $50 per night for incidentals. Any unused authorization is fully released within 7-10 business days after check-out, based on your banking institution.

Minimum Age

The minimum age to reserve a guestroom is 21 years old.

A person of the minimum age requirement must be present at check-in and become a registered guest in the room.


Per state regulations, no more than five people can be in a guestroom.


Quiet hours are from 9pm-9am. Disruption may result in eviction of all non-registered guests from the room and eviction of registered guests if noise persists.

Suite and Guestroom Decorum

Maximum occupancy for a one-bedroom suite is four guests; maximum two-bedroom suite occupancy is eight guests. Volume levels in any room and in the guest hallways must be kept to a minimum after 9 pm nightly. Running or noise in the hallways is not permitted. Supervision of minors under the age of eighteen is required at all times. In the event the hotel receives noise complaints from other guests the hotel, at its sole discretion, may ask any non-registered person(s) to vacate the premises. Depending on the severity of the noise violation, the hotel, also at its sole discretion, may ask registered guests to vacate the premises without refund of any monies already paid or charges incurred.

Any damage to a room, including but not limited to furniture, fixtures, and equipment contained within are the responsibility of the registered guest.

Consumption of alcohol that is not purchased from our venues within hotel premises is not permitted. Illegal substances and smoking are prohibited on hotel premises.

Reservations/Check-In/Check-Out Times

All reservations must be guaranteed at time of booking with either a first night’s deposit or a major credit card.

The Hotel’s checkout time is 11:00 am.

The Hotel’s check-in time is 4:00 pm.

In some instances, check-ins prior to 4:00 pm may be available at additional cost.

Early Departure Fee / Rollaway Charge/Late Check-out Fees

Upon making a reservation and checking into the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, all guests are asked to confirm their date of departure. Should the departure date change, this information must be communicated to the Front Desk by the day prior to the new departure date. After this time, should the guest choose to depart earlier than the agreed upon departure date, an early checkout fee of a full night’s room and tax will be charged to the guest.
