The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day, and entrance is free.
Located 10.8 miles away, Maymont is a 100-acre Victorian estate and public park featuring a historic Gilded Age mansion, arboretum, carriage collection, wildlife and nature center, children’s farm and formal gardens. The park is the perfect place to spend a day or even celebrate a special occasion, such as a birthday or wedding. The grounds and gardens are open daily and are free to the public, while a $5 donation is suggested for entrance to the children’s farm, wildlife exhibits and Maymont Mansion.
