After exiting Suvarnabhumi Airport, take a cab from the taxi stand. The 27.6-km journey to Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok should take roughly 30 minutes and cost approximately THB400.

Catching a cab in Bangkok is relatively easy and inexpensive. Taxis are air-conditioned, metered (insist the driver switches it on) and available 24 hours a day. Tipping is not expected but most passengers round up a fare to the nearest BHT10. Expressway toll fees are not included.
