Lost Pines New Year’s Eve Celebration
December 30 – January 1

Twinkling lights, hot chocolate, festive décor, carnival rides and a grand fireworks show to ring in the New Year are just a few things you can expect to experience at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines this holiday season.

Guests who stay at the property on Sunday, December 30 and Monday, December 31 will be able to take part in the New Year’s Eve experience which includes our full-scale carnival complete with a Ferris wheel and games, an on-site petting zoo, a Texas-style barbecue, and much more. This package also includes access to a countdown celebration with a DJ dance party, champagne or apple cider toast, and our signature fireworks display to welcome the new year.

Visits with Santa
9 a.m. – 11 a.m. | Multiple Dates

‘Tis the season for a visit from our favorite jolly man in red, Santa Claus, as he makes his stop at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa. Join us for a day of holiday cheer as Santa rides in on a Texas Longhorn before visiting with guests in his special workshop. Guests can enjoy making holiday-themed arts and crafts, holiday music, a book reading by Santa or Mrs. Claus and sharing their wish lists to Jolly Old St. Nick while taking their holiday photos.

Breakfast will be served a la carte in one of our restaurants.

Santa will visiting on the following days:

  • Sunday, December 9
  • Saturday, December 22
  • Tuesday, December 25 (Christmas Day)

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Earns 2016 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence

AUSTIN / BASTROP, TEXAS (June 15, 2016)—Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa—a luxury wilderness retreat nestled in the Lost Pines Region between Austin and Bastrop, Texas—announced today that it has been awarded the TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence. This TripAdvisor program, now in its sixth year, recognizes and celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveler reviews during the past year.

The Certificate of Excellence—which is given to accommodations, eateries and attractions all over the world—shines a light on those businesses that have consistently delivered a high-quality experience to their customers.

“Given Hyatt’s commitment to authentic hospitality and the guest experience, this award means a great deal to us,” said Michael Jokovich, Area Vice President and General Manager of Hyatt Regency Lost Pines. “Our resort associates work really hard to create memorable vacation experiences for our guests, so to have their endorsement makes us proud, and also encourages and inspires us as we continue doing what we love to do.”


TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence program takes into account the quality, quantity and timeliness of reviews submitted by travelers during a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months and must have a minimum number of reviews.

“With the Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor honors hospitality businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travelers,” said Heather Leisman, vice president of industry marketing for TripAdvisor. “This recognition helps travelers identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service.
