Hotel Policies
Firearms Policy
The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Hyatt. This policy is designed for the protection of our guests and associates, and pertains to the presence of firearms on hotel premises.
Hyatt recognizes that guests or visitors may legally possess firearms for a variety of legitimate purposes. This policy is intended to create a safe environment for all guests and visitors by providing appropriate guidance over the custody of firearms on our premises.
Hotel premises are private property. Guests or visitors of a Hyatt hotel who lawfully are permitted to possess a firearm, may bring such firearm onto hotel premises for storage purposes only. Any guest or visitor who is in possession of a firearm on hotel premises is personally responsible for abiding by all applicable federal, state and local laws with respect to firearms, in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located and ensuring that the firearm is:
- unloaded
- secured in a locked, hard-sided firearm container provided by the guest;
- and securely safeguarded at all times in a guest room (or personal vehicle), except when transporting the firearm into or out of the hotel.
Guests who fail to abide by this policy may be asked to leave the hotel premises. A blanket exception to the restrictions described in this policy statement applies only to law enforcement officers and designated military personnel, who are on-duty and required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties. No exemption to this policy is allowed for private persons, even those licensed and permitted to carry a firearm, and/or where applicable, to conceal-carry a firearm.
Questions concerning this policy or its implementation may be addressed to Hyatt’s Global Security department.
Pet Policy
Your furry friends are always welcome at Hyatt Place Dallas/Allen. Please call the hotel prior to your arrival to let us know you’ll be bringing your dog(s).
Weight Limits
We allow dogs weighing 50 pounds or less, and a maximum of two dogs weighing a combined 75 pounds or less per room during your stay.
Fees
For guests staying up to six nights, there is a $75 nonrefundable pet fee.
For stays from seven to 30 nights, there is a $75 nonrefundable pet fee plus a $100 cleaning fee.
Fees do not include taxes.
To ensure maximum comfort for all of our guests, following the departure of a guest and their pet, there are certain steps we must take to ensure the suite is clean and free from possible allergens. We deep clean carpets, drapes, bedspreads, and other linens, and fumigate the suite. For this reason, we add the nonrefundable pet/cleaning fee to the account during check-in.
Guidelines for Dog Owners
All dogs must be housebroken. Dogs must be on leashes when in public areas. Pets are not allowed in the food service areas and pool. Your pet must be confined in a carrier if left unattended during the cleaning of your room or you can arrange to be present when your room is serviced.
SAFETY FIRST. WELL BEING ALWAYS.
Providing safe and clean environments for our guests and colleagues is always a top priority for Hyatt hotels globally – even more so today. We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, and want you to feel at ease when you visit Hyatt hotels, knowing you will experience the quality you expect from the Hyatt brand.
The below precautionary and response measures are helping us continue to provide a safe and clean environment: Comprehensive COVID-19 guidance is in place at Hyatt hotels globally, detailing how to protect against transmission of the virus (including implementing hand sanitizer stations and frequent cleaning of high-touch areas), and procedures in case there is a suspected or confirmed case among our guests or colleagues.
Cross-functional, global response teams, including infectious diseases and occupational health experts, provide guidance to Hyatt hotels and help address specific needs and situations when needed.
We believe in responsible and safe travel while staying vigilant and following the recommended procedures and protocols by the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local authorities.
Hyatt hotels continue to welcome business and leisure travelers with our established operational excellence and commitment to care.
