Disposable Guest Amenities

  • In accordance with the Taipei City Government’s plastic reduction policy, and effective July 22, 2025, all hotels in Taipei will discontinue the provision of single-use plastic toiletries and amenities. This includes items such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shaving cream, comb, and shower cap, among other disposable products. This policy will be implemented in both guest rooms and the Club Oasis.​

We believe that your four-legged companion deserves a luxurious stay too. Book the “Furry Friend” Pet-friendly Package and stay in our guest room and suites with amenities and services specifically designed for your beloved dog companion.

Pet Policy Details:

  • Reservations being made with dog guests are required to be completed at least one (1) day in advance of arrival.
  • Only dogs weighing 25 kilograms and under or two dogs under a combined weight of 25 kilograms are permitted. 
  • Dog guests will be staying in one of our designated pet-friendly rooms. These rooms are specially prepared for our dog guests and include food and water bowls, a sleeping mat, shampoo, towels, waste bags and a door hanger. “Dog on Vacation” door hanger must be on the outside of the door at all times.
  • During your stay, please arrange a time for your room to be cleaned with Housekeeping. Dog guests must be removed from the room during cleaning.
  • When your dog leaves the guest room, it must always be on a leash, and it is recommended to use a carrier or stroller. Dogs are not allowed in public areas such as banquet halls, swimming pools, and fitness centers. Except for the outdoor area of Cheers, dogs are not permitted in other restaurants.
  • Dog owners are responsible for keeping their dogs quiet. If a dog continuously barks, the hotel reserves the right to ask the dog to leave the premises. In cases of harassment or aggression towards guests or hotel staff, or any display of aggressive behavior, the hotel has the right to request the immediate removal of the dog.
  • The behavior of the dog is the sole responsibility of the dog owner, and the hotel will not be held liable for any incidents. If the dog causes any damage or soiling to the facilities, the dog owner will be responsible for covering the costs of repair and restoration.

No cancellations, changes, transfers or refunds of any unused portion of this package are allowed. This package is not valid with group bookings and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers. Grand Hyatt Taipei reserves the right to alter or withdraw this program at any time without prior notice. 

Restaurant Drinking Policy

The prices in our hotel restaurant are all calculated in New Taiwan Dollar (NTD),and an additional 10% service charge will be applied. If customers bring their own alcoholic beverages, there will be a corkage fee: NT$1,000 per bottle for wine and spirits.

Grand Hyatt Taipei Gift Voucher Refund Q&A

Q: Does the hotel accept exchanging gift vouchers for other products?

Grand Hyatt Taipei only accepts refunds for vouchers and does not offer exchanges for other products or vouchers.

Q: What documents are required for a voucher refund?

Please keep the original invoice safe. To process a refund, you must present the original invoice, the gift voucher, and its accompanying coupon. A 3% handling fee based on the voucher's discounted value will be charged for refunds, except in cases where the reason is not attributable to the consumer.

  1. Refund for Physical Vouchers: Please provide the physical voucher, the original invoice, and the credit card slip (for credit card payments). If the invoice is lost, please call the banquet reservation hotline to request a Refund Allowance Form. Print, sign, and stamp the form, then return the first and second copies along with the product. Keep the third copy for your records.
  2. Refund for Electronic Vouchers: Log in to your membership account, go to the Member Center tab, select the voucher number you wish to refund, and click View Details. Then, click Request Refund to proceed.

Q: Must package tickets be returned as a set?

Package tickets or sets that include complimentary vouchers must be returned as a complete set. Partial refunds are not accepted. If part of the package has been used, Grand Hyatt Taipei will calculate the value of the used vouchers and complimentary coupons at their original price and refund the remaining amount.

Q: Do I need to return the free gift received with a purchase?

If you received a free gift with your voucher purchase, it must be returned in its original condition. If the gift is not returned or is damaged, Grand Hyatt Taipei will charge the market value of the gift. Please ensure the product is intact when applying for a refund to ensure a smooth refund process.

Q: How long does it take to receive a refund?

The refund method will follow the payment method used for the voucher purchase.

  1. Credit Card Refund: Credit card refunds take 10 business days to process. The refund timing may be affected by the credit card billing cycle, and the refund amount may appear on your next credit card statement. Please check your next statement or contact your credit card issuer for details.
  2. Bank Transfer/Check Refund: Bank transfers or checks take 15 business days to process. Refunds will be issued on the company's fixed remittance dates (10th and 25th of each month).

Important Reminder:

Grand Hyatt Taipei and its partners will never request credit card information or instruct you to operate an ATM over the phone. If you receive a suspicious call, please immediately contact the anti-fraud hotline at 165. Grand Hyatt Voucher Usage Regulations

The blackout dates for 2025 vouchers are as follows:

  • For accommodation vouchers, the dates include January 29 to February 1, March 17 to March 21, April 3 to April 5, May 3 and May 17, December 13, and December 20 to December 31.
  • For dining vouchers, the blackout periods include Christmas Holiday, New Year’s Holiday, Lunar New Year Holiday, Valentine’s Day, and Mother’s Day Weekend.

The following dates are considered holidays and are applicable to holiday dining vouchers issued by the hotel.

  • Peace Memorial Day (February 28), Tomb-Sweeping Day Holiday (April 3 to April 6), Labor Day (May 1), Dragon Boat Festival Holiday (May 30 to June 1), Teachers‘ Day Holiday (September 27 to September 29), Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday (October 4 to October 6), Double Ten Day Holiday (October 10 to October 12), and Taiwan's Retrocession Day Holiday (October 24 to October 26) ​

For trust information inquiries, refund procedures, and other unspecified holiday periods, Grand Hyatt Taipei reserves the final right of interpretation.
