Hsing Tian Kong

This 1968 temple, devoted to Guan Yu, a famous deified general during the Three Kingdom period who valued loyalty and righteousness above all things, is the most visited temple in northern Taiwan with millions of visitors annually and an important attraction.

Treasure Hill Artist Village

Located along the Xindian River, Treasure Hill Artist Village is situated in a historical milieu centered on Treasure Hill Temple, a municipal historical site, including 14 studios, where either Taiwanese or international artists can work and live, as well as a rehearsal room, exhibition room and outdoor exhibition space.

Sisi Nan Cun

Originally a housing complex for soldiers from China after the relocation to Taiwan, today 44th South Village AKA Sisi Nancun is a tourist attraction home to a museum detailing the history and culture of the village as well as some cafés. The village is located just south of Taipei 101 and is within walking distance.

Arts and Culture

National Palace Museum

The National Palace Museum in Taipei is home to a collection of nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks, making it one of the most celebrated museums of classical Chinese arts. The museum ranks seventh among the most popular museums in the world.

Songshan Cultural and Creative Park

The 6.6-hectare Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei’s Xinyi District was completed in 1937 as the Songshan Tobacco Factory. The factory was turned into a creative park with its current name to provide venues for diverse cultural and creative exhibitions and performances.

Huashan 1914 Creative Park

Originally a winery, the Huashan 1914 Creative Park is now an important events venue. As a new cultural events platform, many large-scale exhibitions, theater productions and performances now take place here. Visitors look for interesting things to do in Taipei won't be disappointed by visiting this park.

Bopiliao Historical Block

Bopiliao Historic Block portrays some of the oldest and most historical architectures in the modern city life of Taipei. The site includes a wide range of traditional shop houses from the Qing dynasty (1683 - 1895) to buildings constructed during the Japanese occupation, (1895–1945) till early post war periods.


Taipei 101

Taipei 101 is one of the top tourist attractions in Taipei and its most dazzling landmark. Standing at 508 meters tall, Taipei 101 was completed in 2004 and was the tallest building in the world at that time. The Observatory on the 89th floor offers a spectacular view of the city.

Xinyi Shopping District

Yongkang Street

A great place for a day trip and home to the original and world-renowned Din Tai Fung soup dumplings. The neighborhood is famed for Taipei's alley culture, traditional cuisines, tea culture and local arts and crafts.

Night Markets

Linjiang Street (Tonghua) Night Market

Tonghua Street Night Market is one of the busiest street markets in Taipei. The market features over 100 vendors offering local and exotic delicacies including inexpensive Malaysian, Japanese and Taiwanese snacks. The market also offers all kinds of products besides food such as clothes, shoes, and accessories.

Raohe Street Night Market

One of the most popular night markets in Taipei City is the Raohe St. Night Market. The market features a variety of local food as well as a wide array of fashionable stores to shop in. The most special feature here is the variety of local snacks, including pork feet noodle string, beef noodle soup, herbal stew of ribs, bubble tea and more.

Shilin Night Market

Shilin Night Market is the largest and the most popular night markets in Taiwan with numerous food selections, shops and entertainment options. Just a few seconds away from MRT Jiantan Station, Shilin Night Market is easily accessible for local and international visitors.

Huaxi Street Night Market

The first tourist night market in Taiwan, Huaxi Street Night Market is located conveniently next to Longshan Temple and Bopiliao Historical Block. The market is well known for a selection of exotic food, Chinese herbal food, local crafts, commodities and gourmet snacks.


Beitou Hot Spring

Recognized for its hot springs, historical sites, and lush green environment, Beitou/Xinbeitou Hot Springs is easily accessible via the MRT allowing both locals and visitors to enjoy the hot springs, fresh air, and nature in a relaxing atmosphere all year round.

Yangmingshan National Park
