Philharmonic Concert Hall

The Philharmonic Hall opened in 1936 and was the third in Russia after Moscow and St. Petersburg. The Hall has great traditions and often sees world-known musicians. The acoustics are fabulous.

The Opera and Ballet House

The Opera and Ballet House of Ekaterinburg opened in 1912 and is one of the oldest in Russia. The ballet's repertoire includes about 40 operas and ballets.

Historic Ekaterinburg

Church on the Blood in Honour of All Saints

This modern cathedral, consecrated in 2003, stands upon the site of the house in which the last Russian tsar, Nicholas II, his wife Alexandra, and their children were executed by Bolsheviks in 1918. The Church is only a ten-minute ride from Hyatt Regency.

Church of Ascension

The city’s oldest church, the Church of Ascension, built in 1792, is stunning and instantly recognizable by its powder-blue exterior and golden domes.
