Souq Waqif

Al Koot Fort (Doha Fort)

Zakreet Film City

Amiri Diwan

This impressive building houses the seat of rule of the State of Qatar. Built in the 18th century, this building became a military fort for the Ottomans when they arrived in Qatar. After their departure, in 1915 the sitting ruler of Qatar, Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim reclaimed and restored this building and declared it the seat of rule of Qatar’s rulers.
