Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas has recently collaborated with a beloved local business 'Noof Fashion' in conjunction with the hotel’s social responsibility program, Hyatt Loves Local, a new campaign aimed at supporting local businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19.
As a child, Noof, had a passion for fashion designing but could not continue on this path as she had commitments towards her studies. As time passed by, she re-visited her passion for designing dresses and gave life to ‘Noof Fashion’. Her venture began with a small shop in Souq Waqif with a team of two, which has now grown to a proud team of six members. Her aspirations have always been to start her own boutique, however due to COVID-19, these plans have come to a pause.
Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas aims to provide all necessary resources to support Noof Fashion to operate and reimagine herself in this new landscape while offering locals and Hyatt guest’s one-of-a kind local experience.
On Thursday, 15th of October, the hotel had invited high profile guests including media partners for an afternoon tea gathering on the occasion of the grand re-opening of Al-Maha Lounge and to showcase our initiative ‘Hyatt Loves Local’. The initiative also included the launch of our new afternoon tea selections curated by our Michelin Star Chef Ivan Musoni.
