Hotel Policies

Guests are limited to no more than 2 household dogs per room. Only dogs weighing 25 pounds and under are permitted. Two dogs may be allowed in a guest room or suite, provided that the combined weight of both dogs does not exceed 50 pounds. The fee encompasses this and pets exceeding are at hotels discretion.

All Dogs must be housebroken.

The Hotel may charge up to a $200 non-refundable cleaning fee that will be assessed to the guest. Cleaning fee cannot exceed $200 and must be inclusive of all taxes. A cleaning fee will not be charged to a guest who requires a service animal
Pets are not allowed in the Guest House and food service areas. Guest must use side or back entrances, and dogs must be on leashes when in public areas
Service animals are allowed in all pubic areas

Pet Fee

1-6 nights: the fee is $75, whether a 1 night or 6 nights stay.
7-30 nights: the fee is $75 plus an additional deep cleaning fee of $200.
If a guest stays 1 – 30 nights, the total fee is $275. $75 for the first 6 nights, and a $200 deep cleaning fee for a 7 to 30 night stay.
30+ nights: fee is based on hotel’s discretion.

A $200 incidental deposit per stay will be authorized on all credit and debit cards at the time of check in to cover any incidental charges. The hotel reserves the right to authorize 1 night room & tax up to 72 hours prior to arrival.

Minimum Age Restriction: A person of the minimum age requirement must be present at check-in and become a registered guest in the room.  Primary Guest must be at least 21 years old to check-in to the Hyatt House Pittsburgh Bloomfield/Shadyside.  

ID must be shown at time of check-in.  

Only accepting credit or debit cards with a chip

Credit Card Authorization Forms will only be accepted up until one day prior to arrival
