Explore Washington Park

Day 2 – Start your day right with a quick stroll down to our 24-hour market to grab your favorite beverage and a quick bite before embarking on your next adventure. Once you’ve fueled up, head over to the Oregon Zoo where you can spend the day with nearly 2,000 fury friends representing more than 200 species. After an exciting day exploring the Zoo’s many habitats, it’s time to turn your attention to one of Portland’s famed food carts, where you are sure to find some crowd-pleasing eats.

Day 3 – It’s time to pack up the car and head West to the sights and sounds of the beautiful Oregon coast. Before you hit the road, you might want to make a quick pit stop to experience one of Portland famous food institutions Might we suggest a hearty cup from Portland Coffee Roasters and decadent bite from the world-famous Voodoo Donuts. After indulging a bit, hit the road and head west! Whether you are looking for leisurely walk on sandy beaches or looking for a bit more adventure, such a hike through Ecola State Park, the Oregon Coast is sure to provide an amazing experience. Before heading back, be sure to stop in one of our charming seaside villages where you can enjoy fresh sea food or even some handmade crafted keepsakes from local artists.

Oregon Museum of Science and Industry

Day 4 – Ready for more excitement? Located only a short drive from the hotel is the family friendly Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. Whether you enjoy exploring the mysteries of our universe, discovering the natural sciences of our world, or looking to get hands on with your own experiments, OMSI is sure to deliver. After a busy morning reconnecting with your inner child, it’s time to spend the afternoon outside in the beauty of Forest Park. With more than 70 miles of hiking trails, Portland’s Forest Park is one of the largest urban forest in the United States. Located 30 minutes from the hotel, along the Historic Columbia Highway lies Oregon’s most visited attractions, Multnomah Falls. Not just a great place to enjoy the view, but the falls provides a great opportunity for some scenic hiking to the crest of the falls. After taking in the beauty of the gorge, head west to Hood River for a scenic lunch on the shores of the Columbia River Gorge.

Day 4 – Known for its epic restaurant scene, Portland is sure to impress any foodie. However not every meal is served in a restaurant or from one of the city’s many food cart pods. Like a blossoming flower, each spring the city’s farmer’s markets come to life to create a food lovers paradise. Grab yourself a bag and head out in search of creating the perfect picnic. Once you have found your foodie bliss, pack up your basket and head up to Pittock Mansion to enjoy lunch overlooking the city skyline and Willamette River.

Day 1 – Home to one of the country’s largest urban forests with dozens of hiking trails, there is not a more fitting way to kick off your Portland experience than reconnecting with nature in Portland’s Forest Park. Located in the City’s northwest corner, Forest Park offers over 70 miles of canopy covered hiking trails, highlighted by the Wildwood trail, which spans the length of the park. Day 1 – Get an early start an explore Portlanders regionally inspired southern cuisine Pine State Biscuits and pick up a biscuit sandwich located just a few blocks from the Hyatt Regency. Take a short trip across town to Wildwoods Trail and checkout The Stone House, also as the Witch's Castle, a two-story structure in Portland's Forest Park. While in this area visit the repurposed Victorian homes, boutiques and restaurants which line the streets of Portland’s Northwest/Nob Hill neighborhood, making it an ideal spot for leisurely strolls. Day 2 – Just minute away you’ll find Portland’s most formative neighborhoods located on Southeast Division Street. Spend a day wandering its many blocks, stopping along the way to snack, sip and shop. A culinary hotspot boasting longstanding city favorites – Pastini’s, Ava Gene’s, Lauretta Jean’s Pie Shop, Olympia Provisions Public House, PDX Sliders Division, Bollywood Theater and St. Honore’ Bakery. Day 3 – Tour the Willamette Valley wineries in your personal Tesla for the day and experiencing 3 to 6 wineries based on your designated itinerary. Then end your day on a sweet note – visit a few of Portland best creameries – Ruby Jewel Ice Cream, Salt & Straw or staff favorite Cloud City Ice Cream before returning to the Hyatt Regency Portland.
