Check-in / Age Requirements
Hyatt Place Minneapolis/Downtown does not permit pets, including emotional service animals, anywhere throughout the establishment or in the guest rooms. You will not be permitted to check-in to the hotel with a pet. Violators caught sneaking a pet into the hotel will be evicted immediately and charged a $500 fee.
Only official service animals, classified as such by the Americans with Disabilities Act are welcome at Hyatt Place Minneapolis Downtown.
Please contact the hotel directly if you have any questions.
Incidentals & Authorization Hold
A $100 deposit hold per night, per room, will be authorized on all credit and debit cards at the time of check in to cover any incidental charges; this hold will not exceed $500, but will be placed in addition to room & tax.
Additional we reserve the right to authorize 1 night room & tax up to 72 hours prior to arrival. Reservations booked with a declining card may be canceled.
Typically, unused authorizations will be seen back in your account within 3 to 7 business days. While Hyatt Place Minneapolis Downtown releases unused authorizations at the time of departure, every bank and card brand will differ in the time of when these authorizations are reflected back in your account and become usable again. Please be advised that debit cards and international cards will take longer to release the funds, and we strongly encourage the use of credit cards as these tend to be the quickest to return any holds.
Occupancy/No Party Policy
While we certainly want everyone to have a great time during their visit to Hyatt Place Minneapolis Downtown, parties are not permitted at any time in the guest rooms, in the pool, or anywhere on premises unless booked directly through our sales team.
All persons occupying the guest room must register at the front desk and be added to the reservation; additional charges may apply per person.
In addition, each room has a maximum occupancy limit, with our largest room accommodating a maximum of 8 guests. At no time is any guest room permitted to exceed their occupancy limit. Violators will be fined a $250 Party Fee and all non-registered guests will be evicted from the hotel.
