Newt’s Downtown

The atmosphere of Newt’s is warm and welcoming. On a day-to-day basis, you can find each restaurant playing classic rock from the 80s and 90s. The staff is friendly and committed to providing a great dining experience to each and every guest. Cooks are continuously busy patty-ing the burgers to half a pound, and then seasoning and cooking them to your temperature specifications. In addition to fresh meat, Newt’s also receives freshly baked Kaiser buns daily, these are buttered and grilled and are the perfect complement to our delicious burgers.

Sports Venues/Attractions

National Volleyball Center

The National Volleyball Center is a multi-use building, which is highly tuned for the sport of volleyball. Located adjacent to Century High School, it gives southern Minnesota a sporting complex surpassed by none. The building and equipment are of world class standards, from the Bio-Cushion II floor to the Olympic quality lighting. There are Eleven courts within the Center with three additional courts in Century High School.

Rochester Recreation Center

The Rochester Recreation Center is an indoor sports facility designed to host multiple sporting events under one roof. The Recreation Center offers specific times for the public to participate in events, such as ice skating, lap swimming, and playing pickleball. There are four basic sporting events available; water sports, ice sports, gymnasium sports and two general community meeting rooms.

Graham Arena Complex

The Graham Arena Complex is managed and operated by the Rochester Park & Recreation Department. The complex, consisting of four large arenas and over 100,000 square feet, is located at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds. The arenas are used for a variety of dry floor events year-round and ice-skating events for ten months out of the year. The Graham Arena Complex is open for ice skating rentals and dry floor event rentals.
