According to official regulations of the Ministry of Health, as of Sunday, January 15, guests will not be allowed to smoke or otherwise consume any tobacco or nicotine products inside the hotel.
This new regulation is part of the General Law of Tobacco Control Reform, modified at the end of 2022. This in order to reduce access to cigarettes for teenagers and to reduce the smoking population, currently estimated at 15 million people, according to data from the National Institute of Public Health (INSP).

The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) awarded Jalisco the Travel Safety Stamp for meeting world-class hygiene and sanitation standards at its facilities.
The Travel Safety Stamp is delivered to destinations that fully comply with the cleaning protocols issued by the WTTC, based on the standards of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Prevention (CDC).
After the compliance with the recommended protocols and the actions implemented by the airport to give security and confidence to passengers who transit during the Covid-19 situation were reviewed, the WTTC granted the SafeTravels seal, a quality mark in the application. of processes against the spread of the virus, the Pacific Airport Group (GAP) reported in a statement.

Hyatt Regency Andares wins at Noldi Schreck 2018
At the 2018 Noldi Schreck awards organized by the Mexican Glocal Design Magazine, which highlights best practices in Mexican architecture, SMA stood out with three projects winning prizes.
Hyatt Regency Andares won first place in the Hotel Gran Turismo category, Corporativo Andares took third place in the Corporate Architecture category and the interior design of the GM Offices in Mexico was awarded third place in the Corporate Interiors category.
The jury for the Noldi Schreck Awards 2018 was formed by: Armando Carranco, Beata Nowicka (director of Nowicka Studio), Carlos Pascal (partner at Pascal Arquitectos), Carmen Cordera (CEO of Galería Mexicana de Diseño), Homero Hernández (director of Architecture, Design and Communication at Universidad La Salle) and Juan Manuel Lemus (director of Lemus Arquitectos).
