Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya now offers its guests the opportunity to receive a Rapid Antigen and a COVID-19-RT-PCR (swab) test prior to departing the resort in conjunction with AZUMED Laboratory, a Mexico-based medical laboratory. AZUMED Laboratory’s highly trained medical staff will test guests on property who are required to present its results prior to departure. The test complies with all current travel regulations.

Antigen testing is included in the rate for anyone staying a minimum of 4 nights through December 31, 2021. Starting January 1, 2022 antigen tests are not included in any rate. Antigen tests are available for $15 USD each. The PCR Test is $80 USD per person.

All groups of 150 or more must present the COVID-19 test before arriving at the hotel and checking in. Antigen and PCR tests are not included for any group or wedding.

Test results: PCR results are delivered within 12 hours by email. Results for tests performed before noon are delivered after 10 p.m. the same day, except Sundays. Results for tests performed after noon are delivered by 10 p.m. the following day. There is no need for reservation; the tests are on a first come, first serve basis.

We provide quarantine services for guests that test positive for COVID with up to a 50% discount on accommodations and food & beverage (alcohol not included) for guests needing to quarantine up to 14 days.

We recommend you check the entry requirements to your country of origin prior to traveling to see if you require the test.

Test Availability
There is no need for reservation; the tests are on a first come, first serve basis.

Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 - 4 p.m.

Saturday: 8:30 a.m - 1 p.m.

Sunday: 8:30 a.m. - noon

 

Terms & Conditions:

  • Testing arrangements facilitated by participating hotels or resorts are available for registered guests only.
  • Tests must be conducted during a stay at a participating hotel or resort, and no refund or credit will be issued for unused tests. Guest may be required to show proof of travel plans.
  • Tests are conducted by a third party, who is solely responsible for administering the tests; results are not shared with the hotel or resort.
  • Tests may be subject to test provider’s terms and conditions.
  • This offering, including availability and price, is subject to change at any time, without notice.

 

Pet Policy

Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya gladly welcomes your furry travel companions to join you during your vacation.

To participate in the pet program:

Inform us that you will be bringing your pet (or pets) at least three days prior to your arrival. Canine guests must weigh 50 pounds or under. Guests may have two dogs stay in their guestroom provided their combined weight does not exceed 75 pounds. Extra charges apply.
