The Hyatt Regency New Orleans hosted the 2023 UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball. This event is one of New Orleans’ signature fundraising galas and premier social events of the year, focusing on raising awareness of the need and benefits of a college education, the students UNCF serves and the contributions of historically Black colleges and universities. With the help of our General Manager Michael O. Smith, over the last 10 years UNCF New Orleans has raised over $11 million, keeping more than 1,400 students in school and ensuring uninterrupted education for students of Xavier and Dillard universities.
