Burana Tower

Burana Tower is the main architectural monument of Chui Valley and the famous Great Silk Road. The cultural significance of the tower is truly great, as it is the only monument of ancient architecture preserved in the region. The complex is located in a very picturesque place, near the Shamsi and Kegety gorges, to the south of the town of Tokmok.

Al-Too Square

Ala-Too Square is the main square in the city and it is also worth a visit. It is the place where most of the festivals are held in the city, as well as the occasional demonstration. You can wander around and purchase goods from local vendors or admire the impressive fountains.

Osh Bazaar

Walk around this huge, bustling market and soak up the atmosphere. You can buy a wide range of local foods here from the numerous stalls, making it an excellent place to try some of the local cuisine. It's also a great place to pick up some cheap souvenirs like a felt hat.

Museum of Fine Arts

The Museum of Fine Arts is one of the first museums in Kyrgyzstan, and was founded in 1935. Originally it was called the National Art Gallery, and was held in St. Nicholas Church in Oak Park. More and more pieces were purchased, too, and now the collection numbers over 17,500 items. There is also a collection of linocuts by Theodore Hertzen, depicting the Epic of Manas, and a number of replicas of famous Egyptian, Greek, and Roman statues.

Bazaar Tour

Experience the Kyrgyz bazaars and go shopping in the largest bazaar in Central Asia—Dordoi—which is visited by tens of thousands of customers every day from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other Central Asian countries. Spend the morning shopping at Dordoi and return to Bishkek in the afternoon to visit the Osh Bazaar, ZUM, Dordoi Plaza, and Tumar shopping centres.

Lake Isyk-Kul

Lake Isyk-Kul, or Hot Lake, is a large expanse of water, nestling between the mountains of Terskei Alatau and the Kungei Alatau. In spite of its high altitude, the lake never freezes and is surrounded by sandy beaches.

The tours are provided by a third company and start early in the morning with a bus transfer to the impressive mountains in Kyrgyz Ala-Too and an induction to the day. The operator will provide the equipment, powder skis, avalanche bags, and transmitters, and you are led by Austrian mountain guides and the most experienced pilots in Kyrgyzstan.

Horseback Riding

Horseback riding has been proven to have a positive effect on the spine, keeping your posture in good shape, and spending time with horses is said to take away the negative energy, replacing it with a sought-after positive mood. Experience Kyrgyzstan the Kyrgyz way!

Skiing, Moutaineering and Mountain Biking

Skiing is popular during the winter, mainly during November and December, and the Kyrgyz Alatau range is the best place to go. You can also arrange to go mountaineering, mountain biking, camping, and canoeing.
