Kyrgyz National Opera and Ballet Theater
The Kyrgyz State Opera and Ballet Theater is one of the most iconic buildings in Bishkek, considered as the center of the musical and theatrical culture in Kyrgyzstan. Founded on November 7, 1930; it was the very first European-style building constructed during the Soviet Union in the country
Among the years, it has hosted important Russian musicians, composers and artists who incredibly influenced the cultural scene in the Kyrgyz Republic. In addition, it presented countless of operas and ballets, such as Swan Lake, La Traviata, Queen of Spades, La Boheme, among others.
