Let yourself be inspired by our experts and learn tricks from our Executive Chef at Hyatt Regency Bishkek. Take a glimpse behind the scenes at the large open show kitchen of Crostini Restaurant and learn new culinary skills. For each course, up to 15 people can become acquainted with the other side of the show kitchen. After the cooking is done, all the participants can enjoy the fruits of their labour.

Our Executive Chef, Ronny Badendiek, and his culinary team will be creating a delicious Sunday brunch for your enjoyment. Every first Sunday of the month from 12 noon. Indulge in our extensive buffet of antipasti, salads, carving of the day, homemade pasta and pizza, and wonderful tasty desserts.

Ala-Too Square is the main square in the city and it is also worth a visit. It is the place where most of the festivals are held in the city, as well as the occasional demonstration. You can wander around and purchase goods from local vendors or admire the impressive fountains.

Walk around this huge, bustling market and soak up the atmosphere. You can buy a wide range of local foods here from the numerous stalls, making it an excellent place to try some of the local cuisine. It's also a great place to pick up some cheap souvenirs like a felt hat.

Experience the Kyrgyz bazaars and go shopping in the largest bazaar in Central Asia—Dordoi—which is visited by tens of thousands of customers every day from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other Central Asian countries. Spend the morning shopping at Dordoi and return to Bishkek in the afternoon to visit the Osh Bazaar, ZUM, Dordoi Plaza, and Tumar shopping centres.

Within an hour's drive from Bishkek is the Ala Archa (juniper) Canyon, part of the Ala Archa National Park. This area of outstanding natural beauty is ideal for trekking and winter skiing.

Lake Isyk-Kul, or Hot Lake, is a large expanse of water, nestling between the mountains of Terskei Alatau and the Kungei Alatau. In spite of its high altitude, the lake never freezes and is surrounded by sandy beaches.

The tours are provided by a third company and start early in the morning with a bus transfer to the impressive mountains in Kyrgyz Ala-Too and an induction to the day. The operator will provide the equipment, powder skis, avalanche bags, and transmitters, and you are led by Austrian mountain guides and the most experienced pilots in Kyrgyzstan.

Horseback riding has been proven to have a positive effect on the spine, keeping your posture in good shape, and spending time with horses is said to take away the negative energy, replacing it with a sought-after positive mood. Experience Kyrgyzstan the Kyrgyz way!

Skiing is popular during the winter, mainly during November and December, and the Kyrgyz Alatau range is the best place to go. You can also arrange to go mountaineering, mountain biking, camping, and canoeing.
