All 315 guestrooms, including the 18 suites, have a spacious area of 37 square meters or more and combine traditional Japanese aesthetics and Western design. The design was inspired by the opening of Yokohama Port, giving our hotel a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere. A striking headboard folding screen stands behind the bed of each guestroom. The stands are inspired by samurai customs of setting up a folding screen behind a bed as a gesture of welcome and hospitality.

Reasonable New Option in Yokohama

I just stayed for a week at this brand new Hyatt Regency that opened less than a week ago.

The location is good next to a park and within walking distance to the pier.

The suite was well furnished, although was missing a proper desk where one could work. I hate having to use my laptop on the bed.

The breakfast is beyond sad with no Japanese options. None. Went to have a breakfast once during my stay and simply left.

Not sure when Hyatt Regency turned to a Select Service when it comes to housekeeping? You now need to let the front desk know if you want towels changed.

Some issues with employees English capabilities when it came to words such as mouthwash, shaving kit, and Manager on Duty.

The Regency Club is ok but snack options close to non-existent.

Will likely return when business takes to Yokohama again
