Yuichi Osanai

Born in Akita Prefecture Hobby: Golf

Yuichi started his career at the renowned Okahan Honten in Ginza, Tokyo and continued to hone his skills as a teppanyaki chef at various hotels in Hokkaido, Tokyo, Kyoto, and Okinawa, including Ishigaki ANA Hotel, Yunokawa Prince Hotel Nagisatei, Kyoto Brighton Hotel, and ANA InterContinental Hotel Tokyo. He has been Chef de Cuisine of Shirakachi Teppanyaki since the opening of Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa in 2018.

With his extensive experience and knowledge, Yuichi skillfully grills carefully selected ingredients from all over Japan right before you eyes, for a culinary experience that will stimulate all your senses. 

He is certified by the Japan Sommelier Association and can offer recommendations for wines that pair well with his dishes. 

On his days off, he enjoys playing golf. He loves to indulge in conversation about food, wine and golf with his guests.
