Notice of a Scheduled Power Outage due to Power Systems Mandatory Inspection.
2020.10.26

Thank you for staying at Hyatt Regency Naha, Okinawa.

In compliance with the government regulations to promote safety, we will conduct the annual inspection of power systems in the hotel building and the parking tower on the following schedule:

 

              DATE   :January 19, 2021(Tuesday)

              TIME   :From 01:30 AM until 04:30 AM

 

Guests staying over the night of January 18, 2021 (Monday) will be affected. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation.

 

【Facilities and equipment to be affected】

  • No electricity will be available in the hotel building and parking tower during the date/time specified.
  • A/C will not function throughout the hotel, including in guestrooms.
  • The toilet in the guestroom will not function.
  • Power outlets and electric appliances such as a telephone, a refrigerator, TV, and hairdryer in guest rooms cannot be used.
  • Internet connection and Wi-Fi will not be available.
  • Ice machines and guest coin laundry will not be available.
  • Please ensure to turn off your PC & tablet and unplug it from outlets to protect data prior to the power outage.
  • Only one of the elevators will be operating.
  • Only cold water will be available at the faucet, bathtub, and shower in guest rooms.
  • Cars in the parking tower cannot be retrieved.
  • Automatic fire alarm equipment will work as normal.

We put the best priority to prevent fire and to promote safety. Please do not hesitate to contact us in advance if you have any special needs/requests. We will strive to offer the best possible service. Hotel staffs will patrol each floor during a power outage and will be available at the front desk throughout the process.

Notice for the Changes in the Facilities’ Business Hour (from 1st October)

Dear All Valued Customer,

Warm greeting from Hyatt Regency Naha Okinawa.

We are pleased inform you that operation of sakurazaka buffet style breakfast has been resumed from Wednesday, July 01, 2020.

The safety and wellbeing of our guests is continued as top priority and we are closely monitoring the situation and Hyatt Regency Naha Okinawa is acting up to these important safety procedures as below.

・Sanitize your hands with the alcohol(hotel provided) as you enter the restaurant.

・Please be informed that we will conduct on-site body temperature screening at restaurant and according to the result of clinical thermometer(hotel provided), service will be refused to the customer incase mark a fever more than 37.5C (99.5F).

・Put a plastic gloves(hotel provided) when you take the food and handle the utensils at the buffet food table.

In addition, we have amended operations as below.

We will update to reflect a new schedule if there is any development of current circumstance.

Notice on Precautionary Measures

We have stepped up precautionary measures in an effort to provide an environment that is safe, clean and welcoming for your visit.

【Area of disinfection by aqueous sodium hypochlorite fluid】

・Toilet (entire unit of surface and inside, washer nozzle)

・Bath room (tub, shower unit, thermostat)

 

【Area of disinfection by alcohol sanitization】

・Door knob, Switches, Safety box, TV, Remote controller, Hairdryer, Phone unit, Air conditioner control unit, Furniture, Refrigerator, Ballpoint pen, Hanger, Shoehorn and so on.

 

【Linens handling procedure】

・We will change all lines includes towels, sheets, and pillow cover in a daily basis to prevent droplet infection. In case you stay more than 2 consecutive nights, we would change linens per your request.

 

【In room cups】

・We have installed disposable cups in the room.

For further requests, please call the Housekeeping office.

 

[Providing alcohol wet sheet]

・It is set in the room as room amenities. Please feel free to use it.

 

[Precautionary measures at the front desk]

・ Disinfection of key card.

・ Disinfection of front counter and table.

・ Disinfection of writing instruments after each use.

・ Providing hand sanitizer.

 

Dining Notice

We have achieved ISO 22000 certification, a globally recognized, comprehensive, independently audited food safety management system. According to the guideline from ISO 22000, we are thoroughly managing hygiene and safety.

Also, we are taking extra precautions for your dining experience by enhancing our procedures with the following measures.

· Sanitization of tables, chairs, condiment holders and menus before seating guests

· Use of mask by all associates when preparing meals and plating dishes

· Conducting on-site body temperature screening and providing hand sanitizer.

Notice of precautionary measures due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The safety and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues is always a top priority.
We continue to closely monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation and follow guidance issued by the World Health Organization and local authorities.
Hyatt Regency Naha Okinawa has implemented proactive precautionary measures including increasing sanitization of public areas, restaurants and bars, wearing facemasks, temporary suspension of buffet service, etc.

In addition, we are also complying with the latest directives from the local authorities, which require us to communicate the following instructions to our guests:

• Please be informed that on-site body temperature screening and hand sanitize with the alcohol will be required at up on check in the hotel and restaurant.

• If you have symptoms such as fever or cough, or taking medicine including fever reducers or cough medicine, you are requested to contact the front desk for assistance to visit a medical institution.

• Guests are strongly encouraged to wash their hands with soap and running water, and to practice sanitary cough etiquette, which includes wearing a face mask, if they have symptoms of coughing or sneezing.

As the local authorities have requested us to communicate these instructions to all of our guests, we would greatly appreciate your cooperation. Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us to comply with the local authorities’ directives.
