As a part of measures in response to COVID-19 situation, and also at the request by Kanagawa prefecture, the operating services for following hotel facilities will be changed as follows from Monday, October 25 until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience and we appreciate continued support and understanding.

【Friday October 1, until Sunday October 24, 2021】

■ Change of Business Hours, click here.

・At the request by Kanagawa prefecture, all restaurants & lounge will be closed at 9:00 p.m. (Last order 8:00 p.m.).

・Alcoholic beverages will be served at our restaurants & lounge only between 11:00AM and 8:00PM.

・Usage of restaurants and Lounge will be limited to groups of up to 4 guests or a family living together until further notice.

This Autumn's afternoon tea theme is  Afternoon teaAutumn Garden

Pumpkins, chestnuts, sweet potatoes, figs, and other seasonal ingredients that are full of flavor and color have been added to the menu. Bringing you all the richness of autumn's tastes, colors, textures, and temperature, we have carefully prepared each dish using the best seasonal ingredients with specialized techniques and culinary ingenuity. We recommend the  azuki-bean soup to bring you warmth in the chilly season, the sweets in the shape of autumn leaves, and Mont Blanc cake.

・By declaration of state of emergency, all restaurants & lounge will be closed at 8:00 p.m. (last order 7:00 p.m.). Also, alcoholic beverages will not be served at our restaurants & lounge. 

・At the request of Kanagawa Prefecture, our hotel has applied for certification as a "M・A・S・K restaurant." (as of 7/19)  We would like to ask our customers to cooperate by always wearing a mask during meals and conversations.

Information for Guests Staying in a Dog-Friendly Room

①     Check-in

After checking in, the dog staying in the "Dog Friendly Room" will be guided from the parking lot to the guest room after receiving dog grooming services from the dog-attendant staff (brushing, ear cleaning, nail cut, etc.) if you desire. You are welcome to stay in the dog-only area with direct access to your dog. Information will be provided on a different route from the general guest room floor.

② Exclusive amenities and shower room

We offer a full range of dog-specific amenities, such as pure vegetable shampoo, brushing spray, wet wipes and toilet sheets. There is also a shower room for dogs in the room, so you can enjoy a clean and comfortable stay.

③Where you can relax with your dog

The spacious "Dog Friendly Room" of 72 sqm or more has a non-slip floor, a sofa made of vinyl leather and a spacious cage room by the window, so you can spend time with your dog without worrying about scratches and dirt.

④ Answering machine

A camera is installed in the cage room, and you can watch your dog via a dedicated smartphone when you go out for a meal or a round of golf.

⑤ Other hospitality

We offer a full range of high-quality dog ​​room service (for a fee) devised by a dog attentant.

In addition, if you go out during your stay, you can use the dog -sitting service (10: 00 AM-7: 00 PM) free of charge.

Category and Name change of Regency Executive Suite and Dog Friendly room

Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort & Spa is pleased to introduce a new room category for guests with pets. The original dog-friendly Regency Executive Suite has been replaced with a "Premium Twin & Dog Friendly" room, and we have increased the number of rooms under this category to accommodate more guests wishing to travel with their dogs.

The Premium Twin & Dog Friendly room offers a wider space of 93 sq m compared to the usual Deluxe Twin & Dog Friendly Room (72 sq m). We have also adjusted the pricing so you can enjoy this special accommodation for less than the price of a conventional suite.

Since room renovations have been completed, all guestrooms are non-smoking. Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort and Spa is a non-smoking facility and does not allow smoking in our restaurant, lounges or guestrooms. Smoking is permitted only in designated Smoking Areas.

Our Policy on Children’s Stays at The Resort

Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort and Spa welcomes guests of all ages, including infants and small children. However, for the comfort of all who stay with us, we would like to remind those families visiting with children to be mindful of their little ones’ behavior in the hotel’s public spaces.

If you are with a child who cannot sit quietly at mealtimes, we ask that you consider room service instead. In addition, our complimentary offering of drinks in the Living Room each evening is a quiet, relaxing time. For those who find it difficult to attend with a small child, we would be pleased to deliver drinks to your room.

Family travel is an excellent opportunity to share many learning experiences with young children, including proper etiquette in public spaces. Please let us know if there is any way in which we may be of assistance in making your family’s stay more enjoyable. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

■Restaurant Etiquette

Although we do not have an age limit, when you are with a child who cannot sit down calmly during mealtimes, it would be appreciated if you would consider using Room Service.  We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

■Lounge Etiquette

The complimentary drink service hours (from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm) in the evening at Living Room are generally tranquil hours.  We are pleased to serve drinks in your room when you travel with a small child or it is difficult to come down to Living Room.  Please note that our Living Room is not available for children of infant-preschool after 9:00pm as our living room converts to bar lounge from 8:00pm at night. Please don't hesitate to ask if there's anything we can do for you.  We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

■Onsen (Hot spring) Etiquette

Babies in nappies and infants are kindly requested not to get in the onsen tub.  We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

■Spa Treatment Etiquette

Under 17 years of age are kindly requested not to use spa treatments.  We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
