Resumes Hotel Operations on June 1, 2020
The safety and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues is always our top priority. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the declaration of a state of emergency by the government, the hotel had been temporarily closed. We are pleased to announce that the hotel decided to resume hotel operations from June 1, 2020. As a part of measures in response to COVID-19 situation, until further notice, the operating hours for the following hotel facilities will be changed as follows.

We continue to closely monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation and follow guidance issued by the World Health Organization and local authorities. Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort and Spa has implemented proactive precautionary measures including increasing sanitization of public areas, restaurants and bars, wearing facemasks, temporary suspension of buffet service, etc. We apologize for any inconvenience and we appreciate continued support and understanding.

Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort & Spa is pleased to introduce a new room category for guests with pets. The original dog-friendly Regency Executive Suite has been replaced with a "Premium Twin & Dog Friendly" room, and we have increased the number of rooms under this category to accommodate more guests wishing to travel with their dogs.
The Premium Twin & Dog Friendly room offers a wider space of 93 sq m compared to the usual Deluxe Twin & Dog Friendly Room (72 sq m). We have also adjusted the pricing so you can enjoy this special accommodation for less than the price of a conventional suite.

Due to the suspension of the Hakone Tozan Railway due to the influence of Typhoon No. 19, the railway is not availabe to Gora station. Please use a car (private car) or use the Hakone Tozan train substitute bus.

Since room renovations have been completed, all guestrooms are non-smoking. Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort and Spa is a non-smoking facility and does not allow smoking in our restaurant, lounges or guestrooms. Smoking is permitted only in designated Smoking Areas.

Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort and Spa welcomes guests of all ages, including infants and small children. However, for the comfort of all who stay with us, we would like to remind those families visiting with children to be mindful of their little ones’ behavior in the hotel’s public spaces.
If you are with a child who cannot sit quietly at mealtimes, we ask that you consider room service instead. In addition, our complimentary offering of drinks in the Living Room each evening is a quiet, relaxing time. For those who find it difficult to attend with a small child, we would be pleased to deliver drinks to your room.
Family travel is an excellent opportunity to share many learning experiences with young children, including proper etiquette in public spaces. Please let us know if there is any way in which we may be of assistance in making your family’s stay more enjoyable. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Although we do not have an age limit, when you are with a child who cannot sit down calmly during mealtimes, it would be appreciated if you would consider using Room Service. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
The complimentary drink service hours (from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm) in the evening at Living Room are generally tranquil hours. We are pleased to serve drinks in your room when you travel with a small child or it is difficult to come down to Living Room. Please note that our Living Room is not available for children of infant-preschool after 9:00pm as our living room converts to bar lounge from 8:00pm at night. Please don't hesitate to ask if there's anything we can do for you. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
