Caring for Your Wellbeing at Hyatt Place Kyoto

The safety and wellbeing of our guests is always our top priority. In response to COVID-19, we have introduced the following enhanced measures for your safety and peace of mind.

 

General

・Mandatory temperature checks for all guests and associates entering the hotel
・Frequent cleaning and sanitization to maintain optimum hygiene levels
・Placement of hand sanitizers at the entrance, toilets and other areas
・Mandatory masks and hand sanitization for all associates

Reduction of plastic footprint

Hyatt Place Kyoto is supporting the reduction of plastic footprint and are preparing to reduce the usage of specific plastic items.

 

These precautionary measures are in line with Hyatt’s commitment to Caring for Your Wellbeing.

・Disinfection of guest room key cards
・The Front Desk is frequently sanitized
・Complimentary masks are available for our guests at the Front Desk
・Acrylic panels have been installed at The Front Desk.
・Hand sanitizer is available at each reception desk
 

 
RESTAURANT

Restaurant and Lobby-Bar


・Sanitization of high-touch areas including our tables, chairs before guests are seated
・New table layout to ensure social distancing guidelines are followed
・Associates are guided to wash and sanitize their hands on a frequent basis
・Cooking tables, cutting boards and knives are sanitized for each use
・Alcohol wipes available for guest use
・Hand sanitizer stations at each outlet entrance
・Laminated menus are available
・We kindly request that all guests disinfect their hands, wear a mask and gloves before enjoying our buffet
 

 
Fitness

Fitness Room


・Sanitization of all fitness equipment after every guest use
・Hand sanitizer is available
・Alcohol wipes will be available for guests to self-clean the fitness equipment
・Set time limits for use (30 minutes) to ensure social distance
・Increased frequency of cleaning the air filters
・Rental items including gym clothing and shoes have been suspended
 

 

OTHER POLICIES

Smoking Policy
In response to an increased demand of non-smoking service by domestic and international guests alike, smoking in all restaurants and guestrooms and public area is prohibited at Hyatt Place Kyoto. Thank you very much for your cooperation and understanding.

 

Pet Policy
Hyatt Place Kyoto does not allow pets, with the exception of service animals.

 

About Ventilation
For security and accident prevention reasons, the windows in the rooms are locked so that they cannot be opened. If you wish to ventilate your room, please use the ventilation function on the air conditioner in the room. Fresh air is drawn in from the rooftop of the hotel, temperature and humidity are adjusted, and then supplied directly to the guest rooms.

 

Safety Measures
The main entrance is locked from 24:00 midnight to 6:00 the next morning for security reasons. Please bring your room key when going out at night.
The elevator is equipped with a touch panel. When you hold up your room key over the panel, the elevator will only stop on your floor for safety.

 

Photography Policy
We kindly ask that any guests taking photos while staying at the hotel give due consideration to the privacy and comfort of other guests. 
In the interest of ensuring the enjoyment and privacy of other guests, please understand that hotel staff may on occasion approach you regarding the use of cameras and/or other recording equipment.
