Xtream Arena

The Xtream Arena is a multi-purpose facility in the core of our neighborhood. A single full-size sheet of ice supports the demands of the University of Iowa Club Hockey Team, Iowa City-Coralville youth hockey teams, and Coralville’s own ECHL team, The Iowa Heartlanders. The Arena also serves the University of Iowa Women’s volleyball team. This unique facility has the flexibility to host a number of athletic events and tournaments, from wrestling and basketball to indoor football and soccer, in addition to concerts and special events such as graduation ceremonies.

Kinnick Stadium

Kinnick Stadium is home of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes football team. Currently the 28th largest college owned stadium in the nation, Kinnick Stadium ranks as one of college football’s finest facilities and is routinely filled on Saturdays each fall.

Carver-Hawkeye Arena

The Carver–Hawkeye Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Iowa City, Iowa. Opened in 1983, it is the home court for The University of Iowa Hawkeyes men's and women's basketball teams, as well as the university's wrestling, and gymnastics teams.

Finkbine Golf Course

This scenic 18-hole golf course and driving range spans 200 acres of rolling Iowa terrain and open to the public. The course is owned by the University of Iowa’s Athletic Department and is home to the University of Iowa Men’s and Women’s collegiate golf teams.

Vesta

Vesta is a Mediterranean inspired restaurant serving dishes from France, Spain, Greece, Italy and North Africa with an American flair. Vesta seats more than 150 guests, including a private dining area with presentation equipment for meetings. During the summer months, Vesta seats 80 guests for dining and drinks on the spacious patio in front of the Hyatt Regency.

Winestyles Tastings Stations

WineStyles Tasting Station offers a unique retail wine experience and warm ambiance, reminiscent of an old-world wine cellar. Wines are categorized by style and taste, rather than variety or region, which helps simplify the shopping experience. Each section includes a rotation of unique labels and hard-to-find wines from both small and large vineyards around the world, and each bottle is accompanied by a description of the wine’s characteristics, flavors and suggested food pairings. Winestyles also offers small plate items and gourmet chocolate to enjoy with the perfect glass of wine.

Iowa Athletic Club

Iowa Athletic Club stands as an homage to the rich sports culture Iowa is known for. University of Iowa Museum of Natural History

Located in UI’s MacBride Hall, the fascinating exhibits here include prehistoric tools, the Hall of Birds (featuring thousands of birds on display), and Mammal Hall.

Antique Car Museum of Iowa

The Antique Car Museum of Iowa prides itself in educating visitors on the history of transportation. The 28,000 square foot showroom features 90+ cars ranging from year 1899 to the mid 1970’s, along with an early 20th century Skelly gas station, and an exhibit featuring the Abernathy Boys. The Antique Car Museum of Iowa moved to its new home in the lower level of the Xtream Arena in 2021!

The Iowa River Landing Wetland Park

Located between the Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center and the Iowa River, is a two-acre pond surrounded by five acres of wetlands. A series of elevated walkways ring the pond and traverse the wetlands on the east side of the hotel, and a viewing tower serves as an observation point. A limestone outcropping with a cascading waterfall is located at the north end of the pond. The park is an ideal location for nature walks, bird watching, and wildlife photography.

The Iowa Writer's Library

Housed in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center, the Iowa Writer’s Library is a collection of approximately 800 books written by former students, graduates, and faculty of the nationally renowned Iowa Writers’ Workshop at the University of Iowa and is maintained by the Coralville Public Library.
