Inhale mindfulness, exhale mind-fullness. Practice wellbeing with your mind, body and soul in Yoga at Hyatt. Guided with professional instructors, our Yoga class is set at the beautiful Hyatt gardens and available every Sunday at 7 AM.

Fish Feeding

As you step into our lobby court, you will meet our brightly colored koi fishes. Feed them with koi food provided by our staff and see the koi fishes come to the surface. If you are brave enough, you can let them eating directly from the palm of your hand.

The world's biggest Buddhist monument, that is considered to be one of the world's seven wonders. Borobudur, is a world-renowned Buddhist temple, built in the 9th century during the reign of Syailendra dynasty and reflects India's influence on the region.

Museum Ullen Sentalu

If you wish to know more about Javanese art and culture, this is the right museum for you. Sets in the hillside part of Kaliurang, Ullen Sentalu displays stone relics and natural decorations which bring a strong historical feelings.

The Palace of Yogyakarta (Keraton Yogyakarta)

The perfect place to learn about the cultural and political part of Yogyakarta. Keraton Jogja is the living museum where the Sultan lives. Located in the heart of the city, it is only 20 minutes away from Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta.

Jogja National Museum

Yogyakarta's premier contemporary art gallery which located within a concrete block compound that was built as an art faculty back in the 1950s. Today it exhibits diverse shows by Indonesian artists that change monthly. Local bands play here regularly and there's the retro inclusion of a record store.

Museum Sonobudoyo

This museum is founded in November 1935 and designed by the Dutch architect Kersten. This Museum is built in traditional Javanese architecture. It exhibits weapons, leather and wooden puppets of Wayang Theater, masks, statues, textiles, curios and old Javanese gamelan instruments.

Kotagede Silversmiths

Kotagede is one of the oldest part of Yogyakarta and was a capital of Mataram Kingdom. This area also very famous for its silver crafts and a place where high skilled silversmith families have lived for many generations. Directly go to the local workshop that located deep inside the maze of the city to see how the silversmith created their works.

Taman Sari Water Castle

Located near the Kraton, this place was also known as the garden for the Sultan of Yogyakarta. Tamansari was originally built for multiple purposes yet now only several buildings remain. Some of its original functions were a place to rest, to meditate, to work, to hide and to defend the Sultan’s family. In this present day, some of its buildings have now become homes for local residents and only the mosque, resting and bathing space, and underground tunnels are accessible by tourists.
