University of Notre Dame

The University of Notre Dame provides a distinctive voice in higher education that is at once rigorously intellectual, unapologetically moral in orientation, and firmly embracing of a service ethos. The Eck Visitors Center, located on Notre Dame Avenue, offers not only a meeting and resting place for visitors, but also provides an intriguing look at the University's history. Most tours will include visits to the Grotto, Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the Golden Dome, and "Touchdown Jesus." Notre Dame University is home to the Fighting Irish and the heart of South Bend.
