Travel back in time when visiting this Art Nouveau inspired hotel…
The middle ground of luxury and history, the Párisi Udvar Hotel in Budapest reopened its doors in June 2019. Beautiful architecture combined with history is one of the main attractions of this hotel. Step inside and be taken to a time where the Art Nouveau movement was spreading across the city of Budapest.
Not only was the hotel designed by Mihály Pollack, the same architect who designed the Hungarian National Museum, but the location of the establishment itself used to be a shopping arcade named ‘Paris Court’ back in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.
A monumental building turned hotel, the Párisi Udvar goes beyond regular hospitality. It’s a whole experience. According to Andrea Schwindt-Kiss, the general manager, “the remarkable architectural gem symbolises the rebirth of Budapest’s golden age as well as iconic Hungarian artisanship and architecture. It is with utmost pleasure that we continue to tell our tale and encourage our guests to create their own.”
Although we’re heading into a new decade, the hotel incorporates elements from Arabic, Moorish and Gothic design. It’s enchanting atmosphere makes for a very unique accommodation to stay at. Forget your usual franchise hotel when you’re on holiday in this beautiful spot in Europe, and take a chance on Párisi Udvar.
110 rooms (including 18 lavish suites), two unique dining options (including inernational cuisine), and a location that leaves you accessible to all the must-see attractions in Budapest.
