On March 1, 2019, the Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association (HLTA), in partnership with aio Media (HAWAII Magazine, HONOLULU magazine and Hawaii Business), honored some of the Hawaii tourism industry’s top achievers at a gala at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki. Honorees were nominated across 17 categories, including hospitality, food, activities, events and individual contributions.

Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort and Hyatt Hotels Hawaii have been selected by the Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association as the Leader in Sustainability for the 29th annual Na Po‘e Pa‘ahana Awards.
This award is presented to the Hotel/Resort who goes above and beyond in their efforts to implement sustainable practices in their everyday operations. In a day and time where sustainability has become very essential, we are thrilled to win an award for our leadership in going green.
