CLEF VERTE

We are proud and delighted to announce that our hotel, Hyatt Paris Madeleine, has been awarded the Green Key label.

We are committed every day to reducing our carbon footprint, preserving natural resources and promoting environmentally-friendly practices. Obtaining the Clef Verte label, the first international environmental label for tourist accommodation and catering, developed in France by the Teragir association, testifies to our commitment to offering a sustainable experience to our guests.

As a hotel, we are proud of our commitment to sustainability, and grateful to our customers and partners who support us in this endeavor.

ENERGY

Hyatt Paris Madeleine

ENERGY

Using the Hyatt EcoTrack tool, we monitor our sustainability indicators.
Specifically, we monitor:

- Our greenhouse gas emissions
- Our energy consumption
- Our water consumption
- Our waste management
- Our recycling actions

Replacing all halogen lamps with LEDs has been an important step towards reducing energy consumption.

CARBON EMISSION & WATER CONSUMPTION

Hyatt Paris Madeleine

CARBON EMISSION & WATER CONSUMPTION

At the Hotel, we are committed to an eco-friendly approach and invite our guests to contribute to this effort. In the rooms, we encourage the reuse of linens to help minimize environmental impact. The replacement of sheets and towels is at the discretion of each guest: unless otherwise requested, our team will limit replacements, offering this service only after the third night.

We have also equipped our upper floors with double-glazed windows to reduce the need for air conditioning and heating, while ensuring optimal comfort. Throughout the hotel, LED lighting and water-saving installations have been introduced, significantly reducing our energy consumption and environmental footprint.

Our housekeeping teams provide daily cleaning services while respecting these initiatives to ensure a more sustainable stay. We believe that small actions can have a big impact, and we are proud to integrate these practices into our hospitality.

WASTE & CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Hyatt Paris Madeleine

WASTE & CIRCULAR ECONOMY

We make every effort to reduce waste and limit the use of plastic in all our departments. We are also actively committed to improving waste sorting and recycling.

Access to rooms via a bamboo key helps us to avoid plastic keys.

In meeting rooms, we offer water in large glass bottles by default.

We use individual Tetrapack bottles in every room and supply point in the hotel.

We no longer have individual amenities in the rooms to avoid wastage.

A water fountain is used in our fitness rooms to avoid the consumption of individual bottles.

In rooms, used individual solid soaps are collected by our room staff and sent to a specialized recycling program, helping to reduce our ecological footprint.
