The safety and wellbeing of colleagues, guests and customers remains a top priority, and to further deliver on our purpose of care during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond, The Confidante Miami Beach has taken measures to ensure colleague and guest safety and peace of mind. This includes cleanliness and disinfection procedures, social distancing protocols, associate training and various other policies. In addition to following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local authorities, The Confidante proudly upholds Hyatt’s Global Care and Cleanliness Commitment.
Please see below for the high standards we’ve implemented to ensure you are even more comfortable and protected during your stay (while still having a vibrant experience!)
Designated Hygiene Manager on property who oversees all hotel operations and standards
Comprehensive and required employee trainings regarding social distancing and hygiene practices including proper glove, mask and respiratory etiquette
Disinfect all surfaces in public areas, as well as high touch employee work areas/surfaces hourly
Disinfect pool and beach chairs, tables and chairs, etc. between each use
Require and clearly post signage encouraging the recommended 6 feet of social distance in all hotel public areas, apart from guests who are traveling together
Face coverings are required in all public areas besides in guest rooms and on the pool deck - don’t worry we have a custom line of masks designed by local artist partners available for purchase if you forget!
Provide disposals in employee work areas and public spaces to safely discard used personal protective equipment
Hand sanitizing stations readily available for colleagues in employee work areas and for guests in public areas including outdoor recreation facilities, fitness center, elevators landings, lobby, restaurants and more
Responsibly limit capacities in public restrooms, fitness center, elevators, cabanas and bungalows to ensure proper social distance and abide by city protocols by reducing public gatherings to less than 10 people at a time
Signage posted throughout the hotel reminding guests of safety protocols and expectations, as well as proper respiratory etiquette and ways to properly wash hands
Require proper Personal Protection Equipment for associates, contractors and vendors including masks and gloves
Conduct daily temperate checks for all associates, contractors and vendors
Implement 21 Point Inspection Procedure which ensures the disinfection of all hard and soft surfaces in guest rooms, with strict procedures in place to eliminate cross contamination
Guest rooms will not be entered for at least 24 hours before to guest arrival, only after a trained housekeeping professional has safely and thoroughly prepared the room. Guest room door handles disinfected prior to check in.
Strict laundry protocols which include high temperature sanitization
Dedicated attendant overseeing fitness center operations including regulate sanitization of all equipment, daily deep cleaning and social distancing between guests
Plexiglass dividers at front desk and restaurant hostess stands to ensure the safety of colleagues and guests
Disinfect all room keys prior to distributing to guests
Utilize single-use and digital collateral/menus throughout the hotel
Availability of touchless and keyless check-in using the World of Hyatt app
Contactless delivery of all food delivery orders and amenity requests
Valet parking will remain available, however, team members will wear and utilize PPE as prescribed above and step away 6 feet after opening car door. Visual markers will be placed on the ground to assist.

Guests are required to show a valid photo ID at check-in
Please note a USD 100.00 security deposit is charged per night and due upon arrival. This is refundable, pending a successful damage inspection after check-out
The minimum age for check-in is 21

Don’t forget your favorite furry friend when you stay at The Confidante Miami Beach. We welcome pets weighing 50 pounds or less, and a maximum of two pets with a combined weight of 75 pounds or less, per room. For guests staying up to six nights, a $100 USD deep cleaning fee will apply per stay. If you’re planning an extended stay, please contact the hotel directly at (305) 424-1234. Please inform the hotel prior to your arrival if you plan on bringing a pet.
While at the hotel, we ask that you and your four-legged friend follow our Pet Guidelines to ensure that everyone enjoys their stay:
Pets are allowed in guestrooms on any floor & outdoor garden sitting area
Pets are not permitted on the pool deck or in our restaurant
Per Miami Beach city ordinance, pets are not allowed on the beach. Please contact the hotel for approved pet parks & beaches
All pets must be housebroken
Please maintain your pet on a leash at all times in public spaces
Make sure you keep your "Pet In Paradise" sign on your room's doorknob (provided upon arrival). When you wish to have the room cleaned, please dial “0” to establish a time when you will be out for a walk and housekeeping can service your room. Housekeeping provides daily service between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Please clean up after your pet
Hotel will provide each dog with an ID tag that indicates the hotel’s name, location and phone number. The ID tag should remain on dog collar during the entire stay. A $25 USD fee will be added to the guest room bill should the tag not be returned to the Front Desk upon check-out
Out of respect for other guests, we ask that your dog settles down by 8:30 p.m. If you are leaving the room, please leave a cell phone number at the Front Desk in case of an emergency
If a pet is disturbing hotel guests due to barking or crying, The Confidante Miami Beach has the right to ask that the pet is taken off property
The Confidante Miami Beach does not assume any liability for your pet's actions while at the hotel
Pet in Paradise Perks!
Upon arrival, your four-legged friend will receive a Confidante-branded dog-tag to be placed on the collar for the entirety of their stay and a take home gift of a Confidante-branded pop-up water bowl and baggie dispenser. Pets also enjoy the use of a luxurious, faux-fur, memory foam pet bed by Paw.com during their stay, which must remain within guestrooms. Service Animal Pet Policy
