Make Time for Fun and Relaxation with Grotto Pool Activities and Cabana Rentals

Soak up the sun and fun at Hyatt Regency Orlando. Weather permitting, we host pool noodle races, musical hoops, and other games at the Grotto Pool Deck each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Or, for an experience that blends the indoors and outdoors, rent a cabana for a full or half day. Cabana rental includes two chaise lounges, a sofa, a TV, a minifridge, a ceiling fan, and a $25 food voucher. Ask a recreation attendant for activity schedules and full rental info.

Hyatt Regency Orlando Completes Renovation of The Atrium

The Atrium at Hyatt Regency Orlando features three completely renovated dining outlets: the 24-Hour Market, the Lobby Bar, and Fiorenzo, which now serves a daily breakfast buffet, lunch, and dinner. Located in the hotel's original Tower 1, The Atrium can serve 4,000 guests per day. The renovations were completed in 2019, several months after an overhaul of all rooms and suites.

Hyatt Acquires The Peabody Orlando
August 2013
In late 2013, Hyatt purchased the 1,641-room Peabody Orlando hotel and rebranded it to Hyatt Regency Orlando. With that change, Hyatt Regency Orlando became the sixth Hyatt-branded hotel in Orlando, and the first large convention hotel presence for Hyatt in the market.
