American Police Hall of Fame

Home to 11,000 exhibits and artifacts from the history of U.S. law enforcement, including antique vehicles and weapons, this museum also contains a memorial to fallen officers and a 24-lane gun range.

American Space Museum and Space Walk of Fame

See astronauts’ suits up close, inspect parts of famous shuttles, and view artifacts from both NASA and the Soviet space program at this downtown museum. Outside, Space View Park features monuments to historic missions and individuals, including the bronze handprints of six of the original astronauts.

BK Adventure Bioluminescence Tours

Discover the magic on Florida’s Space Coast with BK Adventure! Embark on a kayak excursion and experience the natural phenomenon of the mystical light shows on the waters of Mosquito Lagoon, Banana River and Indian River Lagoon when they come alive with bioluminescence. Peak season is June-October. November-May is glowing jellies season where these prehistoric sea creatures known as Comb Jellies move in!

Kennedy Space Center

Watch rockets launch in person at this historic spaceport, where you can tour the Visitor Center to view artifacts from the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions. Take a bus tour to see launch sites and current working areas, then grab lunch at the Moon Rock Café on-site.

Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge

Home to sea turtles, manatees, and rare birds, the 140,000 acres surrounding Kennedy Space Center are now a protected area of forests, marshes, and ponds. Visit six hiking trails or take a seven-mile auto tour that leads to a manatee observation deck.
